i don't know much about life. i only know what i've seen/experienced. i'm not a man, so i don't know the struggles of being one. i don't know the struggle of most women because i admit i'm inexperienced in most life situations.

my opinion is any solution found outside the Lord (and HIS truth) is temporary or not enough.

I'll just say that I worry about daughters being abused by men, and I worry about my son's being falsely accused. When we get together sometimes, we have this conversation.

MGTOW.
I think I may have read about this movement, can't recall. But from what the OP writes, and a few other comments I read on the first page ( I did not read the 2nd yet) it seems it has a negative focus. All I can speak of the general concept is from my observations and conversations with other men, and my own thoughts.
I should state that my conversations and the guys I am around are mostly around 40 or older, although i do sometimes chat with males in their 20's and 30's about such things.
We generally believe that woman today are more materialistic, less loyal, more violent, more prone to cheating and lying, more vengeful, and more egotistical then in the past.
I generally agree with this.
We are much more suspicious of woman then we may have been in the past, and have a lower level of innate trust. In truth, many men I have spoken to about this have a decreased level of intuitive respect for females as a group.
I have no doubt I could happily live the rest of my life without a woman in it. There are many factors of why I may not live with a woman ever again, but certainly one of them is the shift in attitude I have seen by woman toward men, Again, I am generalizing. There are many, many great caring, loving and God fearing woman out there.
Still I have been witness to a subtle type of acrimony and air of superiority by woman in whole cities toward men.
I am of the strong opinion that the trend of the last 15 years or so of the media and Madison Avenue and many liberal woman of degrading men has taken its toll on society and many males.
People want to feel valued, not degraded. This was a big reason the dems lost the presidential race. Deplorable's indeed.
Keep insulting someone, or a group, then expect a backlash...eventually.
I tend to view the woman of (especially) America, Europe, Australia, and New Zealand as having morally and ethically devolved to the point where they are as guilty, if not more so, for the very things they have often criticized men for.
So the devil keeps dividing us, (a house divided...) and we fall for it.
As has been the routine, most of this is instigated by the far left, which is expected, as they are the devils workers; having the same spirit.
But it stuns me when I sometimes see or hear of Christian woman who have partake in this. Thank the Lord it is not to often though.

1. Thankfully, the entire culture hasn't moved far enough left that I can be arrested for disagreeing with a woman on a forum... but it HAS moved far enough left that I can lose my job for it.

You can smile Maxwell but soon enough freedom of speech on the internet will come to an end.. And the muzzel of SJW politically correct. cultural Marxist thought police will put Christian men in prison for sharing christian views online.. So a woman like sunflower if she so desires could send a report to a government department and complain about the evil white misogynist, hate speech, Christian males on CC and we could be receiving police visits to our homes in the late hours bundling us up and taking us to a lockup.. Don't laugh i am serious..

The feminist movement along with their SJW and islamist and BLM allies have at the top of their hit list White Heterosexual Christian males..

Are you saying that men have been nothing but good to women? Are you saying women weren't secretly and openly abused? Are you saying women weren't treated unfairly?
I never said any such things... Please i invite anyone who is reading this thread to go back and read my posts and if they can find me putting forward any of these points please reply and quote where i said::

""men have been nothing but good to woman"" or ""woman weren't secretly and openly abused""" or ""woman weren't treated unfairly""

You will not find them!!!!!

As for Sonflower it is clear she is pasting positions upon me that i have never said in an attempt to set me up for condemnation .. Therefore i am putting her on ignore and will not be dealing with her in the future..

I never said you made those statements. I asked you direct questions I genuinely wanted to know the answers to. I was trying to understand.

IF I weren't a Christian, a born again child of the One True King.

I would support this men's movement. The very fact that I hadn't ever heard of this group MGTOW up until an hour ago is a testament to just how wildly out of whack the power of the monstrous behemoth feminism has become.

It's hard to overstate just how destructive feminism is. I believe it is satanic. It has warped and twisted virtually every aspect of our lives. And I say that with the destruction it has caused WOMEN much more so then men in mind.

If women think the MGTOW movement is bad now, wait til lifelike, programmable women robots come on line. Men, ESPECIALLY non Christian men, are pretty simple, uncomplicated beings. Yes. The stereotype is true! Yes I've heard women say that a male robot will work just as fine for them as well. I doubt it.
Genesis 3:
16 To the woman He said:
“I will greatly multiply your sorrow and your conception;
In pain you shall bring forth children;
Your desire shall be [e]for your husband,
And he shall rule over you.”

BUT I am a Christian! And as such persecutions, and trials, will come in all forms. I know I haven't been burned in quite the way these MGTOW men might have been, but I would hope that I would remember my joy comes from the Lord in EVERY situation.

Adstar,
My smiles weren't to make light of your concerns.

I'm aware of what's happening in the culture.
This isn't new; things have been moving in this direction for a long time... like a slow moving train wreck.

I don't believe everything in the world is fine, but we needn't spend every waking moment in a perpetual anxiety attack.
That is what the lost world does... those with no hope.

I think it's biblical that we should get up every morning, take an honest assessment of the situation we're in, act with wisdom and prudence, and trust fully in God to take care of us.

That's how I try to live.

I don't read it as her saying it in a fashion of 'pasting positions' upon you. It sounds like she's inquiring further as to what you do believe.
If she were insinuating those things about you were true she probably would have said "So you believe..." Instead of "Do you...." :)
I think because we're reading people's opinions and questions instead of hearing them speak them, we can misunderstand their intention.

I have never heard of this movement but I always try to be respectful to women and do not think that men are superior to women. I don't think that women are weaker than men either despite what scripture may say as I look to their strengths and not any perceived weakness.

Thank you. I think we, both men and women, can grow and learn from each other, that is how I think He wants our mindsets. Our weaknesses can help develop and utilize the strengths of others. Ultimately, His strengths flourish when we, both genders, work together.

To me all these hashtag acronym movements are really stupid and I don't follow them. I feel that as a man you shouldn't let anyone define your worth. Go get a job , education and advance yourself to the best of your ability and the women will come to you if they are interested. Same goes for women as well. Just live your life and better yourself , the rest will fall into place.
Yeah, that's about how it works. I don't follow that hashtag garbage either.

Sonflower is definitely not trying to set you up for condemnation. She is a long time member who has a lot of wisdom and is respectful of others. If you put her on ignore that will be your loss. Sometimes things get misconstrued in the forums but I am sure that she meant you no harm personally. She is worth getting to know better.

I agree its easy to think that, but it's not factual. "Do you..." is often an instigating or attacking statement on the site. Or used to imply that's what you're saying.
On this site you actually have to clarify when you're genuinely asking a question or it will be seen as an attack, since that's the norm.
For example, I too read her post as an accusation, not a question. Such is the difficulty in online communication. Tone is easily misinterpreted.

Do you really feel that "do you" is instigating an attack?

And... how are you feeling right now?

And even when we do clarify it's a genuine question people still feel as though they are being attacked or accused. :(
You're right about online communication and misinterpreting tone.
I usually go by the type of responses and comments members typically post. If they are respectful and considerate, I just go with that and assume they aren't being confrontational. :)

Perhaps asking "Do you feel right now" is setting a tone that is not misinterpreted as instigating an attack.

Well while it maybe true that a woman can tarnish a reputation and bring havoc, destroying a man, men can and do that to women too. In addition, women are beaten and raped at alarmingly high rates. Both genders show room for improvements.

So yes, there are some bad eggs in the basket, both men and women. We must look at where we are going wrong for sure. But if n we determine the entire basket is bad, because of the few that are bad, we won't be able to make a good omelette. Oops I think I got sidetracked.
