Are we still in agreement ?
Not possible. You have an assembly line concept of salvation, while God has a supernatural concept. So you are in fact denying the meaning of your username.

I'm just breaking down the Salvation journey into each specific happening , and happenings that must occur correctly and in the right order . If you have a better way to achieve this , I'm all ears .

And as for denying my username , I would be shocked if you new what it truly means .

Do you have an answer to the question presented in the next happening in the Salvation journey ?

I'll bump it for you .

Ok , let's go onto the third step or next step .

The state we are currently in at the beginning of the Salvation journey is ,

1) we are being called , drawn , by the Father to Christ .

2) we have responded to the call by turning from our way , to His way , a mental turn .

3) In this current state of being , we haven't received the Spirit of Christ yet , so Christ , His Word , and the promises in His word are not ours yet either .

So now it's time to take our first step of Faith , a step of Faith from our way , to His way .

What is that step of Faith exactly?
This is the question at hand in this discussion .

How about Romans 10:9ff
So we established at the start of the Salvation journey , because we don't have the Spirit of Christ ( Rom. 8:9 ) , Christ , His Word , and the promises there in are not ours to claim yet , right ?

But your answer to the next step is to reach into God's Word ( that isn't ours yet ) and claim promises that aren't ours yet either ? Could you verify that for me ?

This is the question at hand in this discussion .
Is it to exit the camp as indicated in 2 Corinthians 6:17-18?
2 Corinthians 6:18 does seem to correlate with the Lords adoption of the creature in Romans 9.

2 Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.
18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Do you have a reply concerning the topic and question presented
The reply I made is that the next step for someone who has overcome their carnal inclinations (step 2), and is awaiting adoption by the Father, appears to be their having to leave their worldly belongings and life behind them (step 3).
Upon accomplishing the three steps, the promises made by the Lord would then apply.

What I'm presenting is the state of being at the beginning of the Salvation journey . We established at this beginning point since we have yet to receive the Spirit of Christ , as per Rom . 8:9 , Christ , His Word , and the promises in His word are not ours yet . ( Step one )

( Step two ) is where repentance happens , a mental turn from our way to His way . Still no Spirit of Christ , so Christ , His Word , and the promises in His word are still not ours either yet .

Tell me one more time what you understand the next step to be . ( Step 3 )

I'm only using the numbered steps as a reference to the specific happenings .

Thanks Luigi .

Yeah ok this is ridicilous.

If you have the truth spit it out. Its not right to have the truth of God the rest of us dont know about, and just REFUSE to spill the beans.

(And I suspect its gonna be something UNORTHODOX to say the least, based on this procrastinating)

When we turn from our carnal inclinations and turn towards the Lord spiritual Way, I understand as being the 2nd step towards adoption, while the promises in His Word are still not ours.
Upon putting all our carnal tendencies behind us for the Lords Way; there then comes a time when we are supposed to leave our current lifestyle behind us and journey out into the unknown (by faith) in order for the adoption by the Father to be complete, (this is what I see 2 Corinthians 6:17-18 seeming to declare).
Once adopted into the family of God, the promises in the Lords Word would then apply to His children.

So this is now my question to you Pisteuo; as I, and probably everyone else on this forum continues to harbor carnal inclinations, how and when will we, if ever complete step 2, let alone step 3?

I'd rather you listen.
What I'm presenting here are my own personal understandings . I'm putting them on the table to be tested in hopes that maybe someone has a better understanding , so I may know Him better . All my understandings have come from the experience first , a valadating teaching second .

What I'm hoping you'll share is your personal understanding of this part of the Salvation journey . Not share someone else's understanding . It's a simple question and has a simple answer , but that simple answer has been lost to time and needs to be rediscovered .

If you've been following this topic , and agree with the first two established states of being I've presented, what would you do next , or what would your step in Faith towards God look like ?

Not always my friend.

Proverbs 17:28

Even a fool, when he holdeth his peace, is counted wise: and he that shutteth his lips is esteemed a man of understanding.
