Tell the truth benhur

You say quote: "I teach people to be engaged in the work of Jesus Christ and to produce fruit for his kingdom?" Really, you teach people that if they do not produce fruit, God will, "cut them off", from the vine."

Why do you try to hide the fact that you believe a Born Again Christian will, "lose his Eternal Salvation", if he does not perform and produce fruit.

Producing fruit/works is evidence that they are Christian, it does not keep them saved You are not being truthful and you are hiding your true agenda. Why do you hide what you really mean.
How many times do I have to quote John 15:2. It is explicit that God cuts off every branch that is IN JESUS"S VINE if they do not produce fruit for His kingdom. Straight-forward from Jesus's own mouth.

I do not knowingly lie, and I do no knowingly decieve.

You tell people they will lose their Eternal Salvation. if they do not produce fruit, that is your real agenda.

We are saved by grace, "not by works", you are boasting benhur
I am not boasting, I am warning you to be engaged in the great work of the Lord to produce fruit for his kingdom or be cut off.

OK, is EL somehow divided into reward levels of some sort. If you recieve the highest awards possible, you go to the highest levels of heaven. And if you recieve the lowest awards or no rewards possible, you go to the lower levels of heaven. And if you earn some rewards, but not the highest, you go to a sort of middle levels of heaven. Is that how the rewards program works?

IOW what do you receive for the most rewards, the nex most rewards, down to no rewards?

ben , its not eteranal life thats divided , all who have believed will have eternal life , but our rewards will be divided , some believers will receive great reward for being faithful and for their good works , others will not , but all believers who have trusted Christ Alone for salvation will be in heaven

And it does matter what age we are in , we are currently in the Age of Grace , and we should be jumping up and down for joy , that all that is required is to BELIEVE !!!!!

I've only heard Mathew, Mark, Luke & john called gospels not epistles, revelations or testimonies from anybody or any where else. Accept for false ones. Not even the good news bible which has a bad rep for being paraphrased calls anything besides the four , gospels. Maybe some do, I've never heard the term used another way. I'm sorry for misunderstanding or overreacting.

All those churches? Can you show me that post? I am at work. I also know that some churches are not set up for believers, but for seekers. They openly admit as much. I find it hard to believe anyone who opposes the teachings of, say, Joel Osteen, would want to see us united with them... unless, of course, those seeker friendly churches were to embrace the true gospel. Generally people call such teachers as JO false, and would not support them for all the tea in China, but on the other hand, they may still be serving a purpose in God's kingdom, to be putting the Word of God in some way before people looking for Truth. I pray those in such churches come to a fuller knowledge of the Truth of Jesus Christ, and leave such churches.
Read Jesus's prayer in John 17:
John 17:20-22 King James Version (KJV)
20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

Jesus wants the people of the church to be one, just like he and his Father are one. I feel like you and I can, with the help of the bible, reconcile our beliefs about what it takes to be saved. Maybe not, but even if we have some disagreement, we should be willing to share the same church as followers of Christ.

There are true christian chuches, and false ones

Only churches who teach the ONE true gospels are true churches. And they are one,, Because christ is their root.. And as paul said the gates of hell can not keep them from being the church and going into the world united.
I am talking about the thousands of Christian gospels of Jesus Christ, Period.
As you can see, He spoke of the thousands of the gospels of christ.

Okay, so you believe that a "Born Again Believer", can lose their "Eternal Salvation", is that a correct statement?

Yes or No please.

There are false gospels I've heard of. The Gospel of Mary, of Jude and of Mary Magdalene etc. That's the type I thought you were referring to. My bad:rolleyes::(

I only study THE BIBLE from the BIBLE. I know what the word gospel means but in the context in which I have studied it, it only referred to the biography of Jesus while on earth.

Sorry calibob, the gospel of Jesus Christ is still "good news' today. Billions have never heard of Jesus, so we send our missionaries out all over the world to bring this "good news' to them, and when many hear it, they give everything they have to embrace it and in some countries it means they even give their lives.

It is still the 'good news' from God that He sent his Son to teach us of the gospel and die for us that if we really believe in the Son of God we will have EL. That is the greatest news ever given to men on earth, and it will be till the end of this earth.
Theres also the gospels of Peter, Thomas, Philip...banned around 400 ad. gnostic gospels.png this is what I thought you were talking about.

You are right, but good works we must do. If we are saved unto good works, but do not those works that we were saved to do, then the consequence of our laziness, or our bad learning, or our falling away completely, will leave us outside of EL with God.
It’s not about we must do good works in order to become saved or remain saved but that we will do good works if we truly are saved. All genuine believers are fruitful, but not all are equally fruitful. (Matthew 13:23).

Those who fall away completely and permanently demonstrate that they were never truly born again in the first place (1 John 2:19).

You must be a bitter, bitter man. I will tell you again, there are thousands of differences between our churches, but if we stay close to the bible and do what God has told us to do, we can call each other brothers and live in peace and prosperity, even in a world of confusion. I do not knowingly lie, nor do I go around knowingly deceiving people. I love you as a brother in the gospel, even though we differ about how we get saved.
Some day we will know exactly how we get saved.
Where on earth do you get a bitter, bitter man ? ? ? I have Joy and Peace that can only come from GOD. I do however resent the tactics of trying to lead others astray. I have studied the tactics of the Psuedo-christian cults in depth. AND now I see you are doing the same thing; no I do not THINK you are one of them, HOWEVER YOU ARE ACTING LIKE IT, and you have been certainly DECEIVED. It is called the BAIT and SWITCH Tactic of presenting your false Gospel. I am actually SORRY for you, because you have been DECEIVED, into believing a false Gospel. I know you do not deliberately Lie, but that is the nature of being Deceived, you have Swallowed a LIE, hook, line and sinker.

WE DO NOT GET SAVED, HE DID IT ALL, AND GAVE IT TO US AS A FREE GIFT. AND HE ASCENDED TO HEAVEN AND HE SAT DOWN. Do you even know what that symbolized as OUR HIGH PRIEST? THERE ARE NO CHAIRS IN THE TEMPLE ON EARTH, because the Priests work was NEVER DONE, while they were on duty. BUT JESUS, OUR HIGH PRIEST, SAT DOWN, SIGNIFYING HIS WORK OF SALVATION WAS TOTALLY DONE.

I have to respectfully disagree, it is CLEARLY stated in Ephesians 2 1-10,

1And you were dead in the trespasses and sins 2in which you once walked, following the course of this world, following the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work in the sons of disobedience— 3among whom we all once lived in the passions of our flesh, carrying out the desires of the body and the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, like the rest of mankind. 4But God, being rich in mercy, because of the great love with which he loved us, 5even when we were dead in our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ—by grace you have been saved— 6and raised us up with him and seated us with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7so that in the coming ages he might show the immeasurable riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9not a result of works, so that no one may boast. 10For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand, that we should walk in them.

I mean how in the world can you possibly say it's up to us? It tells me all throughout scripture that man is dead in his sin, it says we are a slave to sin, and it always makes very clear that it is ALL God ALL the time. We can't claim any of the credit, it is not up to us at all lest we boast. I do understand what you mean though, we are in time space, we do make hundreds of choices every day. I think we can all agree that a concept like the sovereignty of God is beyond our grasp of how that works exactly, of course, but just like right here the bible clearly says that by grace through faith and this is NOT of your own doing but a gift of God. See the conflict here?

I hear ya man, Yet these people keep insisting our hard work of obeying God is essential if we are to maintain our salvation.

So how can they keep insisting this? (And also not admit they teach works)

I would agree with you that the Father will cut off those who are in Christ if they do not produce good fruit, but I question your understanding of specifically, the kind of fruit one needs to produce for the kingdom of God.
Does if have to do with going to church, giving to the poor, preaching the gospel to the lost, or what?
What fruit constitutes, for the kingdom of God?

I am not boasting, I am warning you to be engaged in the great work of the Lord to produce fruit for his kingdom or be cut off.
What if a person is not led to "engage" in the work of God, would that matter?
Which is more important, to be led by the Spirit or to go preach to the lost, because you believe you are suppose to?

all that is required is to BELIEVE !!!!!
That's not entirely accurate, saying, if you simply believe Jesus is lord and savior.
According to Jesus, Paul, Peter, James, and John, a corresponding word is required.
You can believe Jesus is you lord and savior all you want, it wont do you any good. If you don't act on that belief, then nothing will happen. You will be just as lost as you were before you believed.
Faith requires a corresponding action to that which you believe in your heart, regardless of what it is.
Salvation is no different than healing, it requires faith, and faith without works is dead or useless.
So to say, "all that is required is to believe", I think is a misstatement, and deceives people into believing they don't have to do anything with said belief.
