Your not molded by Gods spirit through obedience, you become obedient by being molded by Gods spirit.
One day you will get out of the way and let God show you this
just a point to ponder;
it is easier to mold a soft lump of clay (obedient) than a hardened one (disobedient) although WITH God nothing is impossible.
Hebrews 5:7-9 During the days of Jesus’ life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. ALTHOUGH HE WAS A SON, he LEARNED OBEDIENCE from what he SUFFERED and, once made PERFECT, he became the source of ETERNAL SALVATION for all who OBEY him.
Hebrews 2:10 In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation PERFECT THROUGH SUFFERING.
Hebrews 7:28 For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak; but the oath, which came after the law, appointed the Son, who has been MADE PERFECT FOREVER.
-When a believer is being molded, he suffers and learns obedience unto perfection..
Matthew 19:21 Jesus answered, “IF YOU WANT TO BE PERFECT, go, sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven. Then come, follow me.”
2 Corinthians 7:1 Since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.
2 Corinthians 13:9 We are glad whenever we are weak but you are strong; and our prayer is FOR YOUR PERFECTION.
2 Corinthians 13:11 Finally, brothers, good-by. AIM FOR PERFECTION, listen to my appeal, be of one mind, live in peace. And the God of love and peace will be with you.
Philippians 3:12 Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already been MADE PERFECT, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of me.
Colossians 1:28 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone PERFECT IN CHRIST.
Hebrews 11:39-40 These were all commended for their faith, yet none of them received what had been promised. God had planned something better for us so that ONLY TOGETHER WITH US WOULD THEY BE MADE PERFECT.
