I believe in one God who serves as a Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. It hasn't become a major issue in my life, yet. What I consider major issues are that we are to love the Lord with all our hearts, minds, and souls, and love our neighbors as ourselves. These are the two great commandments. If we obey them, I believe life goes well.

How is the Catholic Church anti-Christ? What do they say that is against Christ?
EVERY religion is works-based. It's just the hyper-grace movement that likes to deny this.
Look at a scripture that is used widely:
GALATIANS 2:16

16 Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified.
It covers both WORKS and JESUS.

It is readily apparent just by reading this thread why the Catholic Religion is anti-Christ. I'm not wasting my time arguing over this religious nonsense that denies the work of Christ. All works-based religions are anti-Christ at their core and replace Christ Himself for what "they do".
The Lord will be faithful to reveal Himself by the Holy Spirit so that we can come out of our religions and live by faith in what He has already done. He alone is our righteousness. He alone is our wisdom. He alone is our sanctification and He alone is our redemption.
And this is all God's doing. - not ourselves.

This is not purgatory.
purgatory is to purg, or purified Soul, to make Holy, before go to heaven
this is not talking burn you soul, but your work, your ministry.
if your ministry burn you still go to heaven but No reward.
purgatory is Your soul go to Fire for same time, may be 100 years or more
this verse is only your ministry tested in fire, Huge different my friend

35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Oh Fran, it seems you are under the delusion that you are a good example of how to be loving to others, even though you are a proven liar, and one of the nastiest, and most deceieved people I, and others too, have met on this site.
Tell me, Fran, when did the RCC stop teaching that she was NOT the only way to salvation? Because the great schism happened a long long time ago. There was more than one church despite the lies you like to tell. I am sorry you find the truth so harsh. I think you are so caught up in your Roman Catholic ways you forget that the RCC was not the only church but just liked to pretend she was, insisting she was the only true church while she went on a bloody warpath to exterminate those she was displeased with. She set the example of harshness for you, burning at the stake and finding other nasty ways to murder those who had the audacity to disagree with her heresies.

I'm not a theologian. I was telling you that this is where Catholic theologians get their belief of purgatory. Also from the O.T., like the book of Macabees --- 2 books which are missing in the Protestant bible.

Exactly, once again, Fran is wrong and pushes heresy. Nor did Jesus give undue honor to His mother, while the RCC places excessive focus on her, while people like Fran lie about it and try to pretend otherwise. RCC pray to, adore, and worship Mary as some goddess; they devote the whole month of May to Mary.
Jesus sharply criticized the woman who tried to say that Mary should be exalted for being the mother of Jesus. Jesus said that any who did the will of His Father was His mother.

The RCC pretends that Mary never died, though, because they also pretend she was sinless and therefore unlike every other human on the face of the earth she was preserved, according to them, from the stain of original sin, and not only that, but that she remained sinless throughout the whole of her life, again, according to them. Of course neither belief has any Scriptural support, but the popes have decided these are mandatory for the good gullible little Catholic boys and girls to believe, which is why they have made them into ex cathedra dogmas which must unfortunately also be accepted by adults who should know better but apparently do not.
