Hello abcdef,
The simple answer is that it is not under man's control. Do you know why after the six day war that Moshe Dayan relinquished control of the temple mount to Islam? Because it was God's way of making sure that Israel did not build her temple before the appointed time. It is the One who is restraining, who after He is taken out of the way, then that man of lawlessness will be revealed, establishing that seven year agreement and allowing Israel to build her temple. Neither Satan nor mankind is not going to be able to stop anything that is according to God's plan.
The antichrists (plural)as many, were already there when the new testament had its start. The time of the first century reformation had come therefore restoring the govemnent of God to a previous time period before there were Kings in Isreal .(the time of the Judges). This is somethng which it seems you must avoid....it had come signaled by the renting of the veil the awited glory the first ressurection .
The stones that remained intact were made to no effect when the veil was rent.... an indication Christ had come in the flesh for one outward demonstration of pouring out His Spirit as that not seen . Today the unbeliving Jew worship the stone called the wailing wall as idols in a hpoe that Chrsit would come in the flesh and destroy the gentile nations of the world.
The unbelieving Jew (no faith, the froward generation ) that you use as an example of the six day war has nothing to do with the faith that comes from hearing God. We walk by His work of faith and not after the flesh of a Jew that is no longer used as types and patterns in various parables.
The account spoken of in Dan 4 below was fulfilled in Mathews 21. God is no respecter of person…. purifying the heart of a Jew is acomplished by the same Spirit of fath according as it is written that he purifies the heart of any nation.
Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great. The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth: The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it. I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven;
He cried aloud, and said thus, “Hew down the tree, and
cut off his branches, shake off his leaves, and
scatter his fruit”: let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches: Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven,
and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth: Dan 4
And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found
nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let
no fruit grow on thee
henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree
withered away. And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How
soon is the fig tree withered away! Matthew 21:19
