Do you believe in a literal Millennial reign by Jesus?
No, I do not. It is all based on a misinterpretation of Rev 20.

Jesus, Paul, Peter, John etc all fail to mention it otherwise.

It is abhorrent to the proclamation of the true Gospel as it produces another 'gospel'.

It is composed of a mish mash of people, some resurrected, others still 'human'.

It ends with the world in turmoil presumably because the king was caught napping and failed to do his job, in spite of the fact he was told about it beforehand.

Rev 20 speaks of the SOULS of the martyrs reigning with Jesus. Not a natural expression in connection with an earthly kingdom. And there is no mention of an earthly kingdom in the crucial passage.

All in all it is incongruous and produces another gospel

Luke 1:32 (YLT)
[SUP]32 [/SUP] he shall be great, and Son of the Highest he shall be called, and the Lord God shall give him the throne of David his father,

Revelation 20:1-6 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] He threw him into the abyss, closed it, and put a seal on it so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the 1,000 years were completed. After that, he must be released for a short time.
[SUP]4 [/SUP] Then I saw thrones, and people seated on them who were given authority to judge. ⌊I⌋ also ⌊saw⌋ the people who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of God’s word, who had not worshiped the beast or his image, and who had not accepted the mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with the Messiah for 1,000 years.
[SUP]5 [/SUP] The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were completed. This is the first resurrection.
[SUP]6 [/SUP] Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of the Messiah, and they will reign with Him for 1,000 years.

1 Corinthians 15:24-26 (HCSB)
[SUP]24 [/SUP] Then comes the end, when He hands over the kingdom to God the Father, when He abolishes all rule and all authority and power.
[SUP]25 [/SUP] For He must reign [on earth] until He puts all His enemies under His feet.
[SUP]26 [/SUP] The last enemy to be abolished is death.

No one, the Iron Legs were the Roman Empire that FELL.

If the iron legs ended in 476 ad, then we must be in the time of the toes/horns, yes?

The iron legs don't end, and then start up again.

The iron is one solid piece, divided into toes and by clay, but solid all the way to the end of the toes.

There is no gap in the iron of the statue.

You are skipping 1500 years of history.

Can you explain this?

The GOLD HEAD was the Babylonian Empire - known for their Gold Smiths.

The Silver Chest was theMedo/Persian Empire - known for the Silver Smiths.

The Brass or Bronze Waist was the Greek Empire of Alexander the Great - known for Brass Smiths.

The Iron Legs was the Roman Empire - known for their Iron Smiths.
Agree.

The Feet and Toes of Iron mixed with Clay is the Revived Roman Empire, possibly the European Union.
Rome is the beast, and Caesar and the Bishop of Rome are the Antichrist.

The revived Roman empire has been here since 476 ad. when the time of the toes began.

The persecution of the Roman beast against Israel has continued until modern times.

Caesar worship continues to this day.

Do you call the Bishop of Rome (BoR), Holy Father?

Is he your Holy Father?

Can he forgive the sins of men against God?

The different parts of that Statue, represent dominating EMPIRES not a City.
Right, except that the 4th beast Dan. 7/iron legs/woman, IS A CITY, that sits on 7 mountains/hills.

Rome.

[/QUOTE]

The iron does not end until the toes end.

The toes ended in 1967, when Israel was restored to Jerusalem.

Luke 1:32 (YLT)
[SUP]32 [/SUP] he shall be great, and Son of the Highest he shall be called, and the Lord God shall give him the throne of David his father,

Which He did at the resurrection of Christ (Acts 2.30-36)

Revelation 20:1-6 (HCSB)
[SUP]1 [/SUP] Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven with the key to the abyss and a great chain in his hand.
[SUP]2 [/SUP] He seized the dragon, that ancient serpent who is the Devil and Satan, and bound him for 1,000 years.
[SUP]3 [/SUP] He threw him into the abyss, closed it, and put a seal on it so that he would no longer deceive the nations until the 1,000 years were completed. After that, he must be released for a short time.

This '1000 years' means a long period of time following OT precedence. Satan was released in Rev 9.

But where? My Bible says He reigns in heaven. This too was for 'a long period of time'. And you forgot to mention it was the souls of those who had been beheaded, not the bodies,

[SUP]5 [/SUP] The rest of the dead did not come to life until the 1,000 years were completed. This is the first resurrection
.

Yes the first resurrection was the resurrection of Christ accompanied spiritually by His saints (Eph 2.5-6; Col 3.1). The final resurrection is still future

[SUP]6 [/SUP] Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of the Messiah, and they will reign with Him for 1,000 years.
In other words they are reigning with Christ NOW.

The trouble is it does NOT say 'on earth'. YOU have put that in,

They rise at the same time as the living saints are raptured. And so we will ever be with the Lord in His glory.

And it isn't MY Gospel, its Paul's. He knew nothing of a Great Tribulation at the end either.
but john did and he wrote rev. long after paul.....long after 70AD......you can't be that dim

Wrong again.... it has not ended. It is simply the beginning of the next step. 50 years (a jubilee) 1967 + 50 = 2017///// Time could be shorter than we think.
