I'm seeing two different images.

So you are elected but have no clue who the elect are. Is that right?

The Bible clearly says you should know who the others are.

Maybe God does like in the parable of the Talents, and rolls it over as even more reward for others if we never accept it.

I just have to do my best with what I feel I understand. I find myself falling far short of so many other people who read some verses, and can then emphatically inform others on how the whole universe works.

Oh, don't sell yourself short. You're very good at telling everybody all you emphatically know and believe to straighten us out just fine.

BTW. Jesus paid the debt to the Father to get whom the Father chose.

Hello!! :) I am doing fine, learning a lot here, I already have all Romans at hand to read as homework. I have to say I am more than a little fascinated by the size of the discussion though, I understand just a few things, but I have to say it amazes me how the conversation unfolded so fierily! :D

Still waiting in your answer and yes the Bible has revealed their will to us (1 Peter 1:12). If what you say and preach is true then the angels that fell with Satan did not have a choice, but they like us, have a choice, otherwise there would not be some with God today.

So once again, how does your theology rectify the free choice/will exercised by 1/3 of the angels that fell with Satan?

Why would Jesus redeem the Pharaoh? He certainly didn't save him. Why did Jesus redeem Lot's wife. He certainly didn't save her. Jezebel? Ahab? Herod? Why redeem that which you aren't redeeming?

Because Jesus commanded us to do so, that's why we preach, that's also the means through which God reaches His elect, through the preaching of the gospel.

Hmm thats interesting in Mark 16:15 it clearly says " He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to all creation." Yet in whatever bible you read you believe he wants the focus to be on his elect

No,I dont misunderstand and yes we can go ho hum or the Bible would not say things like "believe on the Lord", command us to repent and turn from sin and to choose. All of that is unnecessary if people are elected or rejected. So either Gods a liar or you need to take a second look at what you believe.

Im stating what the Bible says,I have pointed out verses,that is all.I have not called any of you a liar. I think you have misunderstood Scripture and are following a wrong theology.The Bible does not support it. But that does not mean you are a liar nor have I called you one.

Can you tell me who does believe that, or are we back to six-legged polka-dotted whales on the far side of the moon again, and just picking some words that aren't relative to anyone's theory on this thread?

Honestly? There really is a far side of the moon, just as there is God's elect, so the rest is the part I'm asking about.
