Look to the parables of our Savior.

The parable of the talents of gold foretell the more works of God performed, the more the reward; that is unless you do not believe the talents of gold represent the faith given each of us.

Also Jesus teaches that in heaven anyone teaching against the least of the laws (according to His light) will be least in heaven.......this implies there will be varying degrees of greatness in the Kingdom. I belive this to be so.

I believe this because of the teachings of Jesus Christ in the Word.

I agree, This is what a child of Gd is working for. NOT to keep fro losing his or her salvation

Ok........
what good is God talking to me, If I can not rely on him to keep his promise?

I am secure because of that. I KNOW (HAVE FAITH) He will keep his promise. That's my hope and assurance, It is not based on me, (otherwise, I would have no hope)

My question is for all those who say they do not know Gods guidelines on how much fruit. Or how many good works.. How can THEY have any hope?

ah, so we have to be good, and produce work, but we can never know if we produce enough work because the bible does not say.

And we have HOPE how? How can we know if we made it? We would spend our whole life in FEAR that we never did enough..

At least the catholics have purgatory, and ISLAM has martyrdom, so you can make sure you make it..

There is no hope in your gospel.
Maybe not for you.....

Doesnt the Holy Spirit talk to you? Witness that you are OK? That's how we know anything is right.. Not just be reading and hoping as if it's a wishing well... Just asking.. don't want you to feel picked on
You just nailed it..... If we're led by the Spirit He will let us know.

Why do people say "how much" when The Spirit shows them?

Good question.

Just ok, That does not worry you that there are people all over the world who can not know if they will go to heaven or not? That should not only make you sad, but Angry as Paul was, that that Gospel, (which is no gospel at all) is out there.

We as Gods children should be given them a hope worth livin for,,, Not a false hope that may never come to fruition.

Oh I have hope. My faith is not in myself. But in God. He did the work of the cross. He changed my life. He gave me something I could n0t give myself and no one else could give me.

I pray one day you find this HOPE also.

It's like this..... The Holy Spirit shows you.

Now, if He's not leading you, you know nothing, for He teaches us all things.

How can the spirit let you know when the spirit did not even give you a guideline? This is just an excuse.

The spirit not only is not trustworthy in your gospel. But has no power to do what God promised he would do "perfect that which he started"

The Pharisees thought they Had Gods backing. How well did that do them? It was just lip servivce.

ever notice a child in a family that didn't really get the rules of home as strict as the other children? What usually happened to that child into his adult life? It seemed they took the spoiled rottenness into adult life to me a lot of them, not all. Then they don't have mommy and daddy pulling them out of their messes, and the law gets more strict. Just follow the rule book its for our own good.

Yep, U got me..... I used the Holy Spirit for an excuse. Then again, what should I expect from EG? Nothing but trash talk to keep from admitting you don't have a CLUE what I'm talkin' about.

Now, that's blaspheming the Holy Ghost. How can you put any more nails in your coffin? His own words just nailed him..... easy for you, since that's not the first time you did it.

I think we all know by now where the "lip service" is coming from.

You can insult me & everybody else on here & get forgiveness for it..... but not the Holy Spirit. I feel very sorry for you right now.:(

Yea, following the rules makes life much more enjoyable and profitable.
But daddy was still daddy.

Good works are only provided bby God.

Good workds does not mean a person has to be another Paul or Peter. Good works are as simple as waiting on the Lord, for Him that is. Praying is good works. kindness in the love of god is good works. Consideration, patience, mercy and so much more that all childre of God do to one degree or another.

When any of these are performed there is reward in heaven.

Sometimes when I have shared a problem with a brother or a sister and ask for a petition in prayer, I come back to them and thank them for their prayers because I know theywere answered.. I always try to remember to remind them that because of their good works just for me, they have reward in heaven, to go with any other rewards they have been earning along the way.

Fellowshipping is good works. Praising God is good works. You all have reward waiting in the Kingdom, but it is always good to add to it..........I pray you all do, and do it richly.

Then just be a sport and tell us.

1. How good is good enough to be saved?
2. How much fruit is required to be saved?

or remain in silence, and prove me right.

No blasphemy of the HS is saying he has may not have perfected you forever, That he who begum a good work in you may not continue it until the day of Christ. That we have not BEEN saved by gracem But that we MIGHT be saved by grace..

Thats blasphemy of the spirit.

I would be more worried about you right now. than me, God has my back. And your silly little attacks are not going to hurt me one bit. (although the should not be allowed in a chat room that calls itself Chritian)

That's called expected petty remarks. It still doesn't cover what you said about the Holy Spirit.

So you are going to be like ISIT and not answer?

Typical.. Why should we expect any different?

The main thing is that God's word is followed & not ignored.

Ignoring scripture is rebellion against God. Ignoring His commandments purposely will bring eternal destruction, regardless of an eternal claim to salvation.
The same GOD that spoke In the old covenant Is the same GOD that speaks In the new covenant and since GOD's WORD does not change, should we try to keep the ten commandments and establish the two commandments under grace at the same time?

There you have it folks. Slander at its best, So determined to cast doubt on someone else. that he destroys his own credibility by committing the VERY same sin, he judged another person of doing, When the other person did no such thing.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. Revelation 20:13
Exactly......the lost at the Great White Throne judgment.....this is not indicative of the saved!
