By now,anyone pushing postrib rapture is either asleep or is regretting what Jesus said.
The 5 wise went directly to heaven? No they didn't. It's a parable. They went into the wedding. This is an analogy for entering the Kingdom. The Kingdom is physically going to be established here on earth. Jesus will reign from Jerusalem.

The Rapture of 1 Thes 4, is the return of God the Father. It is the LORD GOD THE FATHER HIMSELF who is coming in 1 Thes 4. I must have showed this to you 1,000 times.

When Jesus comes at the Second Coming immediately following the Great Tribulation of Israel, He gathers the ELECT, AKA the Wheat. See Mat 13 and 24. Jesus is gathering those who were scattered just before the Great Tribulation. He gathers them back to Israel where He is establishing His reign. If you notice in Mat 24:16 the Elect were told to flee so they will need to be gathered back when Christ returns.
Of course Jesus' return and the Rapture are different events. I've only been telling you this for 2 years now.
Pay attention to Turkey. You will see Turkey go into full blown Radical Islamic. The rebirth of the Ottoman Empire (Head that was mortally wounded, yet lives) is underway. The attack on Israel AKA, the Great Tribulation is not far off now. Once Israel is attacked, and you are still here, hopefully you will come around and reject this pre-trib nonsense. Will you???

You are mixing events, like Popeye.
You are now speaking of the Day of God when the earth is dissolved and the new heaven and earth arrive.
2 Pet 3: [SUP]12 [/SUP]looking for and hastening the coming of the day of God, because of which the heavens will be dissolved, being on fire, and the elements will melt with fervent heat? [SUP]13 [/SUP]Nevertheless we, according to His promise, look for new heavens and a new earth in which righteousness dwells.
When do we get the new heavens and earth? The above and below are the same event!!
Rev 21: Now I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away. Also there was no more sea. [SUP]2 [/SUP]Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.
These events happen after the Millennium and after the Great White Throne of judgment. Can't you see from the timing given in Rev 21 that we are past the Tribulation and the return of Christ?
Yes, we are to keep watch for Christ's return which is His Second Coming. We are given all kinds of signs. The Great Tribulation or attack of Israel is certainly a big one to watch for.

I am fine with you having your view on it. But it won't change my view that He will come for me without any sign at all, before I can blink my eye.
Let's look at two scenarios:
A pre-wrath / post tribber believes he will see, and prepares for, the things God says will accompany the tribulation - pestilence, famine, saints killed for their faith et al. Surprisingly Jesus returns pre-trib and takes the prepared man up to be with him.
A pre-tribber thinks he's not going to see pestilence, famine, saints killed for their faith et al, and doesn't prepare for it. Surprisingly, Christ doesn't return and the man finds himself in the midst of the trial.
Which man will be better off?
Honestly, my view is :
Prepare for tomorrow
But be ready today

One thing about it. There is one that can not be deceived. Jesus.
Sooooo,the best deal is stayin close to the one that can not be deceived.
We won't have long to wait. I think President Erdogan could be the Man of Sin, AKA AntiChrist, AKA King of the North who unites the Muslim world and attacks Israel. She already has nukes. Mecca will get nuked by some Muslim force from the north, there is no doubt about it. Turkey will re-establish the Ottoman Empire. This is the beast with the mortal wound, yet lives again. We are seeing it happen right before our eyes.
The Great Tribulation, of Israel, I believe will begin within 2-4 years from today. Once it starts, your pre-trib theory goes out the window good buddy.
. In the meantime, don't go with any spiritual being claiming to be sent from Jesus to take you to the "rapture." Don't be deceived. I won't have anyone to chat with.
