"Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image and had not received his mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. 5The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection. 6Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

In the scripture above, John sees the GTS as beheaded, then he says "they came to life" and reigned with Christ for a thousand years. I would call that a resurrection.

I didn't miss the above, I just didn't comment on it. There are two harvests mentioned there. The second one is not a good harvest which is obvious and seems to be pointing to what happens when Jesus returns at Armageddon, as shown in Rev.19:15 "He will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God the Almighty." And the first one doesn't say whether it is good or bad nor does it state who is being harvested or if it is in chronological order. There is just not enough information to say what or when that harvest is. Also, there are only two listed, for the 144,000 who is the male child is caught up to God's throne in the middle of the seven years as described in Rev.12:5

You're right that it doesn't say whether the first one is good or bad. It is sussed though, from COMPARING the two. Also, it seems apparent that the first reap is Jesus!

The verse is in Ezekiel 21. God says He will now destroy both the righteous and the wicked alike.
And the verse I think it ties in to is in Rev 22:11, which speaks of 4 groups of men:
1. Those doing harm
2. filthy
3. righteous
4. Holy

Ezek 21 is very hard to accept. It stuns you when you read it.

Really? You think that was necessary? I think that proves YOUR ignorance of Christ's love for us all.

There's nothing wrong with being ignorant, Everyone is ignorant of something, But what is wrong, is, staying ignorant when we have so much right teaching these days.

Actually, Christ said that many will turn from Him in the end because they were not prepared for what is coming.

And who is not going to prepare for what is coming?

Those who don't believe they are going to see it.
Works both ways.

Those that believe Jesus is coming back got several years to goof off.
Look at the preppers. Hoarding food in the name of Jesus,as did the Hebrews with the manna.

It rotted the next day.

It makes no sense to attack our walk, saying we are automatically weak for waiting for Jesus, when that is in fact what the wise were doing.

Even the foolish had enough sense to get on the same page of a soon return.

To top it off,you guys are waiting for a guy on a horse. We are not.

The guy coming shortly on a horse.....who do you think is duped into biting on that?

Believers are going to heaven before and during the GT of Israel. The Marriage Supper of the Lamb comes after the GT of Israel.

Daniel says, "when the power of the holy people has been completely shattered, all these things shall be finished."
The last supper makes that wrong.

Upper room,at table,with his family?
Mansions in heaven?
Where I am you will be also?
I will not drink of the vine again, till I drink it with you in my fathers kingdom?

You seem to skip the obvious and default into conjecture

This is the first post in this thread that caused the Holy Spirit to zing in me...
It is a comfort to know He is so faithful that if someone needs to be further tested to come out pure because they loved their life too much or were too fond of the world and its things, He will do what needs to be done concerning them. I've met some who quite obviously have the Holy Spirit but who remain so unspritual and very concerned with comfort and their cars and their lawns, etc.

Just a thought.

It seems to me that we as humans seek a mansion or miniature kingdom.

We gotta remember that we are not home yet,and need to get some discipline concerning this world and whatever utopia we might be trying to create.

This COULD be a call to jetison some baggage LOL

Correction;
Those that DON'T believe Jesus is coming back...

Bit again by Mr 5 minute edit window LOL

So much reaching here.

So many false conclusions.

You overemphasis the delay into a distorted meaning. Why leave out what was there at the ARRIVAL of the groom?

You have to make your deal fit some war zone. The entire setting is peaceful, normal life.

Oh,and BTW,where do you see horses in that parable?

Looks to me like Jesus comes on a horse,no?

So,we are looking for a coming of a man on a white horse?

The 5 wise obviously went to a bad place with a false Christ.

Oh,wait, wait, that has to be "one taken, one left" with the taken ones going to a bad place.

See what happens with distorting the word?

Ask yourself, of the two groups of 5 virgins each, one foolish, one wise, "Which group has extra oil (Holy Spirit) so that they are prepared for a later return than expected?" Who thinks Christ comes sooner, the pre-tribber or post-tribber? As a pre-tribber, you are in the group of those without enough oil.

FYI, the Marriage Supper of the Lamb takes place in Heaven before Christ returns with His martyred saints. The scene of Rev 19:1-10 is in heaven.

Yes, Jesus comes on a white horse, your point is? Jesus doesn't say what mode of transportation the groom was using. He doesn't say he came walking or riding, does He? As for Jesus coming on a white horse, absolutely He does. But we don't have to worry about identifying Him as He comes because He tells us one chapter earlier that He comes so fast, like lightening. Anyone who comes claiming to be Christ, cannot be Christ because they wouldn't be coming like lightening if they have time to talk to us.

The one taken refers to the tares which are the Palestinians living in Gaza and the West Bank. They are the relatives of the Jews. They are the descendants of Esau. Yes, they go to a bad place to be destroyed, every last one of them. The ones left are the 1/3 of Israel not killed by the Muslim invaders. They are brought through fire and refined and they call upon the Lord God as we are told in Zec 13.

No distorting here, good buddy!!

God said it will be as the days of Noah. Noah wasn't spared God's judgment on the world, he was told how to make it thru it. What if Noah didn't believe he'd see the flood and didn't build the ark? Would God have enabled Noah to dogpaddle all those days and nights? Or would Noah have drowned with the rest?

Honestly, the 'rapture' for any one of us could come at any time. Like Jesus told the farmer, your life may be demanded of you tonight. That car crash, that heart attack, that your-ticket-is-punched moment, that's your rapture.

Very, very few will live to see the true 'catching up', so for the great majority of us it's a moot subject.

No, the obvious answer is that all of the disciples, except Judas of course, eventually died and went to heaven and are with Jesus the same way any of us get to heaven. In fact, unless you were Enoch or Elijah, this is the only way one can get to heaven, which is to die first then your soul goes there while your body remains on earth.

Jesus specifically told His disciples that they could not follow Him, John 13:33. He tells them they can follow Him afterwards:

[SUP]36 [/SUP]Simon Peter said to Him, “Lord, where are You going?” Jesus answered him, “Where I am going you cannot follow Me now, but you shall follow Me afterward.” This can only mean that they can only follow Him after they die and so it is now and will always be until the end of the age.

ABSOLUTELY CORRECT BROTHER RICKY!!

We need to stop obsessing about the Rapture. There is no fly away alive to heaven. We must stay here and wait for the Second Coming, assuming we don't die of natural causes or killed by the Dragon who is killing so many of our brothers and sisters right now in the middle east.

The Rapture is after the Resurrection which is after the Man of Sin, AKA King of North, AKA AntiChrist is defeated and killed. Dan 11 and 12 gives the order pretty clearly.

Both Noah and Lot are pre judgment dynamics.

Both were ushered to safety pre judgment.

You post tribs need a POST JUDGEMENT ESCAPE.

I have no idea why you guys step in it over and over.

The only one I see stepping in anything is you - via your holier than thou attitude.

And Noah was not ushered to safety. He was told how to survive the coming judgment. But it was dependent on 1. him believing he would see God's judgment upon mankind, and 2 following God's command on how to prepare for it.

I would say you need to step aside from eschatology a bit and work on that heart attitude. A sick heart makes for cloudy comprehension.

We agree

then the word is confused.
Because the 5 wise went directly to heaven.

See that?

See your quagmire you created all by yourself?

All you look at is a confused dynamic, because the second coming on the white horses has zero to do with the rapture.
You guys dug that hole.

You got a gathering with NO HORSES,and a second coming WITH MILLIONS OF HORSES.

You gonna tell me jesus rides a horse into his marriage chamber, when ,in fact,YOUR TEMPLATE REQUIRES THE HORSES TO CONTINUES DOWN TO EARTH.

remember?

You guy's deal is IMPOSSIBLE

back to the anti pretrib drawing board LOL

Aren't we glad we got bibles?

It's not a moot subject for me. :)
We are told to wait and watch for Him to come.
I look for Him to come for me.
What bride wouldn't keep hoping her groom would come for her every day?? :)
This is my blessed hope!
Sometimes when I get thinking about it, I could almost pee my pants!
(You probably don't want to be gathered together UNDER me when He comes! haha)

Ricky, again you are spot on. God gives us two warnings (more actually) on what to do to avoid his coming judgment on Islam and those following the beast which supports Satan's false harlot religion.

Rev 18: [SUP]4 [/SUP]And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. [SUP]5 [/SUP]For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. [SUP]6 [/SUP]Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her.

Jer 51: [SUP]45 [/SUP]“My people, go out of the midst of her!
And let everyone deliver himself from the fierce anger of the Lord.

If we look at other passages such as Psm 83, Eze 38, Oba 1, Joel 3, etc, etc, we see who the people are who get judged. We know where they live so we are to get out of those areas. If we are already outside of those areas, no need to do anything as we are safe from the areas of judgment. No need to be airlifted off the planet.
