I am a friend of God and He is my Friend. He called Abraham "friend" also. (and look at the stuff Abraham did)
Abraham was an upright man who kept GOD's commandments. I don't see anything evil he did, if that is what you were trying to imply.

It shouldn't be too hard. Just, ask.

You would think this would solve alot of problems now wouldn't you? lol

Maybe like grace, its too easy??
(at least thats what I hear about grace, we both know that is not the case)

lets see, He laughed at God.
He commited adultry on his wife, a sin the world still has to pay for.
He tried to hide off his wife as his sister because he lacked faith in God to protect him from a king,

Have you ever stopped to think why God shared the dirt on some many of his children? Ever think that might be to give us all hope?

Abraham was not saved because he obeyed God, He believed God and God reckoned him as righteous..

Abraham obeyed, because he did have saving faith.. Not to get saved.

Oh, Lord! How much easier it was to just have a "Law" I could get behind and bulldoze, rather than to actually have to find the desire to consider others in Grace (grace, LOL).

That's what the bible says. GOD doesn't work in a disobedient heart.

No The bible does not say this. the religious mindset says this,

The bible says obedience comes from Love, which comes from God giving us his love. (we love because God first loved us)

Jesus himself said ALL THE LAW and ALL THE PROPHETS are contained in two commands, Love God, and Love all mankind no matter who they are (your neighbor)

As paul said, if righteousness (good moral standing, or obedience) could come from the law. then Christ would have stayed in heaven, and not come to do what he did.

IF people have a problem with something Peter says, why don't they ask for clarification. Or is it just easier to accuse?
most of the time, the problem we have with what peter says is what he says we believe, which is wrong..

and he has been asked by people countless times to explain when they could not understand.. I have witnessed it.

it would be so much easier to be the pharisee Amen, At least we could SEE how good we are, (or at least think we are) , and not be exposed to the lie from the accuser. and have to live by faith on an hourly basis..

Ariel.....yes....with all the abundance of sin in your life may you find the power and love of the Lord to overcome it.......my goodness.....smh
Ariel...welcome to the world where you are accused of being full of sin because you don't believe in what someone else does. If you try to relate to them to help them to understand...you are lawless no matter how many times you say the same thing to them. Now you can see the "mindset" you are really dealing with here.

I would just try to limit interaction with people like this to as little as possible as they will "twist" your words on you no matter what you are really saying. Leave them in the hands of the Lord.

I too like Willie see you standing tall and being a peacemaker despite what is coming against you. God bless you!

  1. So? No sin.
  2. Having a concubine was not adultery
  3. So? He didn't lie.
Abraham was justified by his faith. His obedience deriving from that faith saved him.

Because that Abraham obeyed my voice, and kept my charge, my commandments, my statutes, and my laws. Genesis 26:5

As you are a stranger, was there no peace here?

I suggest this is a very loaded comment, as if we have offended you.
Peace to you, and may you find the Lords love and power in your life to overcome sin.
I have God's peace and He deals with any sin in my life...though like Paul I can confidently stand before God because my heart does not condemn me.

Yes, you have offended me, but I give it to God to deal with because He is more powerful than mere words.

You have gone through much in the defense of the Gospel.

To me you seem like a solider with PTSD, jumping in your sleep ready to defend your comrades and fight the enemy.

Sometimes you see enemies when there aren't any and sometimes folks do attack and abuse you because you seem more wolf than sheep.

However God sees your heart and He knows the difference.

Don't let your past blind you to the present and what God has to tell you.

May God's peace dwell in your heart and His wisdom guide your words. May you see the world with spiritual eyes and learn to speak with love, patience and gentleness. With bumblebees of spirit we cry out to You Lord. In Jesus name we pray, amen.

She was just trying to bring peace and telling things as they were in order to help us all.....she did no harm to anyone but she was just maligned....now she is viewed as an enemy....this is the kind of stuff that EG stands against and calls people out on.....:)

one of the things that I have been shown was that when I become redundant in word or deed,
if my heart was open to correction from the Holy Spirit, then my conviction became priority-
and when I received the strength to over-come through love for my Maker, I learned that
joy will always come with even the smallest of victories...I will always choose joy over
the unfruitful desire to always be right, this will bring us into God's presence
and give us strength blessed confidence...

Actually you are wrong about that about 99% of the time IMO. You have a bad history of being a false accuser. Here, let me remind you and everyone else.

In this sequence you accused me of a false accusation and bearing false witness that some believe that doing GOD's will is impossible. I then provided a post of someone saying that very thing. Then you didn't apologize, but indicated that you actually believe what you accused me of falsely accusing others of saying.

oh so your perfect. You have become sinless. If not. then he was right, and you can not reach that possibility.

If so. Please say yes, then I will apologize.

If not. Then you just wasted your time trying to prove me wrong..

because she had the nerve to stand up and try to do something about what is going on.. and instead of being humble servants of God, they took offence, and came out to attack. which is what they always do.
