Scriptural proof on this one please !!!
The bible says nobody has ascended up to heaven yet except for Jesus, and shows that at the 1st resurrection the dead in Christ (OT and NT saints that have died) will rise first and then we who are still alive will be caught up with them in the clouds to be forever with the Lord.
The dead in Christ can not rise to be with Him if they are already with Him !!!
Original sin is not a Doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church because the Roman Catholic Church was not around when Eve ate the Fruit.
The Doctrine of sin is that the sin of Adam was passed on to everybody, not the sin of Eve.
This is what Paul was saying in the Book of Romans mwc68. You will notice here in the verse the Holy Spirit is also saying ALL have sinned, even Mary mwc68.
Romans 5:12
[SUP]12 [/SUP] Therefore, just as through one man sin entered the world, and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men, because all sinned--
Why do you always put the Roman Catholic Church above God mwc68? Why do you always give credit to the Roman Catholic Church when the credit belongs to God mwc68?
Will you ever listen to the Holy Spirit mwc68? Or will you keep on fighting the Holy Spirit mwc68?

Exposing darkness is christian, It is commanded in the bible.
You call non christian christian and you call christian non christian.
Paul declared that it was better to depart and be with Christ which is far better (Phil 1,23).
He declared that to be absent from the body was to be present with the Lord in a house from Heaven (2 Cor 5.1-7).
The dead saints are living and reigning with Christ in Heaven (Rev 20.4-5).
indeed we are living and reigning with Christ in Heaven (Eph 2.5-6).
The body is laid in the grave, but the spirit returns to the God Who gave it.
you must differentiate the first resurrection with Christ in which His people participate, and the second resurrection which is the physical resurrection

There is no back-slapping going on regarding you, mwc68. You are standing rigid against the truth and making a perilous decision to hold on to your error. Why would we be happy about that?
Not so sure about that Nancy, plenty of people would rather I leave. I don't have any enemies in my immediate vicinity, but I sure made some here just for what I believe!

James 5:19-20 is speaking of the lake of fire !!!
It clearly says saves a soul from death, and the only One who can destroy/kill the soul is God.
The bible shows this is clearly done when the person soul is cast into the lake of fire, as men can not destroy the soul, only the body.

None of those scriptures you give show they are in heaven already.......
Philippians 1:23, Corinthians 5:1-7, and Ephesians 2:5-6 is speaking mentally in a spiritual sense that we who obey the gospel of Christ are already seated in heaven with Christ. They are not stating that they are actually physically there yet.
Revelations 20:4-5 does say this but this is after the 1st Resurrection has taken place, not before it.
I know the difference between the 1st and 2nd Resurrections, and when they both take place.
The 1st Resurrection happens after the GT before God's wrath is poured out and the 1,000 year reign of Christ begins. And the 2nd Resurrection takes place after the 1,000 years have finished.
1 Thessalonians 4 is the picture of the 1st Resurrection where it says the dead in Christ will rise first and then we who are alive and remain will be caught up with them and forever we will be with the Lord. This passage is not talking about 2 Resurrections, for this all takes place in the 1st Resurrection.
If you try to say 1 Thessalonians is speaking of both, then you are saying the ones who are alive in Christ will face judgment and the lake of fire. Because the bible clearly says those in the 2nd Resurrection will have to face this judgment....
Only those who take part in the 1st Resurrection do not have to worry about this judgment when standing before God.
If you say the dead in Christ are already in heaven then you are saying the 1st Resurrection has already taken place, Apostle Paul says those that believe this way have been deceived !!!
