Had no idea this was even released. Has an LS (Reborn)/Fasedown vibe.

I found this while on my search for a GOOD christian grindcore band. Most of them have these really crappy pig oinking vocals that are unintelligible. I really liked this one a lot though. Kind of an old school vibe.

How did you come across these guys as Christian? Their FB has zero mention of anything at all faith related. No mention or links of a single Christian band. There is heavy pushing of other bands that are clearly not, or highly likely not Christian. The vocalists record label seems to not have a single band that reflects anything of faith or Christian bands of any kind. At least one of the albums his label put out had some pretty harsh language promoting the album. Not a single mention of this band on any Christian sites i have come across. And if that isn't enough to make you question, this is an old cover photo from the bands FB...

doc fb.jpg

Granted they may not have put that up behind them, but they did choose a picture that made it clearly visible to represent the band.

While checking these guys out i saw another band with a Christian sounding name, but looking them up i saw they were not Christian either. Kind of odd people pick such names.

Those guys are so well known that would matter haha. But yeah, that idea. Considering their original name was Burn The Priest... haha

Yes, considering the kinds of things Morbid Angel were into and sung about it's awesome to hear that he was able to hear God speaking to him, even without having people witnessing to him. Would love if he got into doing some Christian music, he was a beast drummer.

As i said in the other thread, their name change was forced on them through censorship, not a change in their hearts. So this unforgiving person you're trying to make me out to be has absolutely no relevance to what i'm saying. What i'm saying, again, is there is nothing, even their name change, that indicates they are Christian.
And the name 'Motorjesus' was a song title of theirs before the changed their name. So it's not relevant to their beliefs currently as it was a name created before.
Neither do i think a Jesus with a cigarette in his mouth is a Christian representation of Christ, as their album cover depicts him.

Again... why is there not one single mention of them i can find on any of the sites that cover Christian rock/metal?

You've done a poor job at trying to make me out to be unforgiving and religious and you've done an even poorer job at showing me i'm wrong for questioning why you label this band as Christian.

Yes I did... don't know what came over me but I'm sorry for my words that I made you feel that way. Well I guess it's my feelings that I say Christian metal true the picture with the cig in the mouth is not pretty n proper but on the other hand he has helped me too see my bad choices in life I've made and still do "my comment I made"....maybe the photo is representing just how far he goes to be where we are. a musician myself my thoughts are musicans think In a artisy way like a painter or writer of novels maybe. Personally I think he works in mysterious ways I get the message in the song I think his works is everywhere and if a man or woman out there in cyberspace who's straight up hard core demon metal to come down to this type metal or the good ones you posted that's great... maybe he comes here because he is still seeking but he loves the band Dublin death patrol... Maybe Jesus delivers a message to one band and another message to another band and he who likes it hears it. I've read the song nothing I see is bad in nature maybe I'm wrong correct me if anything of the lyrics is a bad thing.. I find it up lifting that's me sry but I like metal and most all music with a good message. who knows some guy might run across this thread who's in need of softer metal in his life and a better message then what he has now. Sry don't mean no harm if it's not true Christian metal

I've given up on cryptic, symbolic references to Jesus and God a lot of these metal bands have. The ones where you have to decipher if their a christian band or not. Found myself trying to justify certain themes or lyrics to go 'oh yeah that's christian' There are a small number of bands out there (that I enjoy listening too) that are up front about their faith in Jesus in their lyrics and themes. I just don't see why more bands can't be as upfront in with their faith like a lot of the christian rappers are? Guys like Lecrae and Flame etc. they openly declared Jesus and deep things of faith consistently. Is it because of the metal culture? I dunno

No its culture its self a trick of the dark side. when some people become believers their friends family co workers and so on may not believe too... so they get scared to talk about it out in the open fear of others rejecting them not wanting to hang out with them anymore and so on. Think what a music group dealing with the public, peers, music industry and friends family and so on probably little harder then just close friends and family to step out and trust in God that it will be ok to do so..
