You can definitely hear the Crimson Moonlight and Extol influence musically I think. I may have to hunt this band down.

I did a miseration radio station on Pandora yesterday. I got to hear some really good bands I had never heard of before, so it was pretty cool. Unfortunately most weren't christian.

Also been listening to a band called Intronaut lately, I saw them with Between the Buried and Me last year and they dropped my jaw. Great to listen to if you're into prog metal at all.

I first heard Intronaut about 10 years ago roughly. I remember enjoying them, but during that phase of my life i got into more secular stuff. Now i limit it more than then, so i haven't listened to them in a while.

I don't mind them just because they're more musical focused. I'll listen to just about anything with good drums and/or bass

I got their album man but there isn't much out there to find on them, I suspect they arn't around anymore.
The only way I could find to get hands on their album Chains of Plato was through a review website or on itunes through some far out european country i've never heard of before in some strange currency.
I quite enjoy the album :)

Yeah I found it on itunes and that was it. Looks like the guys literally left Miserstion to record the album and then came back again.

So I was on Facebook and Rottweiler Records asked a question, "Did you know Gryp was back together?" WHAT?!?!

Got a couple new christian "death metal" albums. Every Knee Shall Bow and Behold the Kingdom. I only got to hear one song from the first band, but it sounded pretty cool. I use the death metal in quotations because of the second band. It's considered death metal apparently but all I heard were a lot of open chorded chugs and breakdowns, blech. Money went to rottweiler records though, so you know, silver linings

Stumbled across this as some sort of 'controversial' new song.
I'ts metalcore but it's good, except the mellow parts =P
The lyrics are what make it so good. Can't see what's so controversial even to other Christians.

I was really into it for a while. Sounded similar to Sleeping Giant for a bit there. Then the mellow parts started *shudder*

Steve Kumada that did guitars for Randy Rose died Feb 14th. No clue what the reasons are.

industrial cover of Wovenhand song:

Scrap/Grinder | To Make A Ring

lyrics:

nothing in this world
gives me a reason to doubt
I want into him of my flesh I want out
I have been given to follow the sun

forever round the throne

listen
judgement will not be avoided
by your unbelief
by your lack of fear
nor by your prayers
to any little idol here
he owns all those cattle
he owns all these hills

forever round the throne

crow eye come see
crow eye come see
the lord will not be mocked
not by you or me

power glory honour
be unto my king
we will weave our hands
weave our hands
we will weave our hands
together
to make a ring

forever round the throne

power glory and dominion be unto the king
we will weave our voice
weave our voice
we will weave our voice together and sing

forever round the throne

First i have to say Family Force Five is the Bizness (or at least until their last album which i didn't like what i've heard, but haven't heard enough to form my opinion). Secondly i have to call you out on the given age on your profile, it's hard to imagine a 50 yr old who likes Family Force 5 or Manafest lol!?!?!?
some of my favorites- Manafest, Eowyn, Disciple, Submission Red, 7eventh Time Down, Skillet, Family Force Five, and Switchfoot. I like many others as well...
