Being in Louisville, KY I thought 400 miles would be a good number. At least the ride from Louisville to Chicago isn't bad. The benefit of living in Louisville, KY:

(a) It's home to the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary

and

(b) It's dead center to several major cities (Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Nashville, St. Louis)

I would be willing to travel far provided I had the finances - I have done it before with friends on another site and it was a blast! :)

The fact that the possible distance is measured in MILES suggests that we would HAVE to meet up in the States?

No - not at all... It is just what is familiar to me. I actually thought about putting 'miles / kilometers' - but then decided that 'miles' would be sufficient. This was / is not intended to be a really serious lets-make-it-happen type of idea / thread / question / poll; rather, I was mainly just wondering about how much people might be "willing to go the extra mile" to take [ some of ] their CC relationships "to the next level"...
