Works for me! I'd make the sub-text a little more visible, but this works, IMO.
I did not want the sub text to be obvious. I did mute the background in places so it would be unobstructed, or not blend in to much with it, but... This one has a very grunge border on it, too. I liked the distressed look a lot for this one because the verse itself is about things we must do/must not do because those things hurt other people.

Thanks, but it's not likely going to happen.

The sweetest girl that I ever met was way back when I was 16 years old. We worked together briefly, and, all kidding aside, her father literally was in the Mafia. I liked her. She liked me. However, she got sick, and ultimately moved away. I did visit her in the hospital once, but she moved shortly after that to God only knows where. I've never forgotten her. She truly was a sweetheart, and that's a rarity these days...at least in my own experiences.

In all seriousness, there's only one aspect of my life that is confusing, and that pertains directly to women.

I truly do respect them, and love them, and I truly have taken YEARS AND YEARS to allow God to fashion me INTERNALLY into the type of man that I read about in the scriptures. You know, a man who will love his wife as Christ loved the church while nourishing her and cherishing her as his own flesh, and washing her with the water of God's word. I'm pretty much consumed with love in that everything that I read, listen to, or think about is related to love, but, sad to say, it's been a one-way street where women are concerned. The women who I've met near me are all very superficial, and, if anything, they're only looking for some sort of sexual hook-up which is never happening with me. I pretty much gave up on women almost a year ago after talking to several different "Christian" women in about a three month span who all wanted me to jump in bed with them. Anyhow, this confuses me because I know that marriage is only for this side of eternity, so why all of the preparation on my part if being single is in my cards?

What more can I say?

It is what it is.
Throughout the world the vast majority of men and women are loving, caring people of integrity. Sadly, sometimes it's hard for us to keep that to heart because of the pain and suffering we, ourselves, have experienced, and what we hear from others and see on TV.

One of the reasons I left an AOG church years ago is that the fiancee of a brother in the church tried to seduce me whilst he was away with the Navy.

I realise that men are more likely to do that than women, so I'm not suggesting that women's morals have slipped and ours haven't. Anyway, that shocked me, but I wasn't surprised totally because he and she had been attending a course in pleasurable sex run by one of the members of the church, a medical doctor, and his wife. When I confronted one of the elders with this as being somewhat dangerous for the unmarried, he agreed, but said nothing could be done about it because the doctor and his group of loyal followers would get up and leave the church. Big church! Big Building! Big Mortgage Payments!

After that experience and others, I didn't feel right about tithing there anymore. I subsequently didn't feel right then about receiving some beneficial involvement from other members of that church and yet not financially supporting it, so I left the church.

I agree with you, whether I live or die married or single, it doesn't matter when compared for the need to stand fast in the Lord in all matters!

Wonderful day. Shopping for dinner items, walked the dogs, worked on a paper due for school, viewed a cooking video and decided to look into a Christian chat site. No idea why it's been so dominant in my thoughts lately.
It's always great to have a bit of extra sunshine around, Sunny 🙂.... well, that is unless you happen to be close to the tropics in Oz in the middle of summer! 😳

Welcome to CC, and to our thread.

Having to get a paper ready for school, are you a teacher?

What kind of furballs do you have, what are they called?

Shalom 🙂

How has my Saturday been... I know you all are wanting to know.

Home Depot (weed killer); gym; lunch (The Habit); wiped out the weeds; laundry; CCing... Later, I plan to hit another tutorial, have devotional time, and digitize some very old cassettes.
Sounds very productive?

Do they still OK the use of glyphosate (Roundup) in the States, or have they banned it?

I read earlier on here about mosquito's. If you want to keep them away use sandalwood oil. Warning though it may keep humans away too. It does not smell the best.
.... and cane toads Ruby, cane toads will help too. I've got a few to spare, would you like me to ship some across?

Have you ever heard of it:

"A man is always a younger boy until he dies.""
No, I haven't SXP, but it's very profound. It seems to run true for me, until I look in the mirror and I realise I've been imagining a lie. Then I jump onto Solomon's boat called All Is Vanity.

I am not sure I want to add to any of that dialog. My day personally has rocked. Mainly I suppose because it got up to 80's in Ohio. Thank you Lord, you are awesome. Had a good devotion with my son this morning, we were using some of Tony Evans sermon to inspire us.
After my son went to work I was able to go walking at the reservoir. Could only be out a short time, being Irish I tend to burn easily sometimes. For me it is a great blessing within the last 2 years I have had covid twice, started menopause, got hurt on exercise equipment, also had pneumonia while having covid and went thru a divorce.
So getting out and back where I need to be in all areas is a blessing. I have learned to appreciate my health alot more, amen.
80's, whoa Willow, time to break out the shorts and flip flops.

What a productive day you have had, sounds like vigour and joy 👍

Do you struggle with skin cancers over there at all, or are the UV Rays not quite as intense where you are.

You've certainly been put through the mill, to say the least! I and others will admire your positive outlook given all that nastiness that has happened to you.

With that kind of temperature happening, there will be much more line wetting ahead for you soon, I suspect.

May you have a continuing great day, and great evening ahead.

Roundup is the brand name of a systemic, broad-spectrum glyphosate-based herbicide originally produced
by Monsanto, which Bayer acquired in 2018. Glyphosate is the most widely used herbicide in the United States.

Ecc 11
8
But if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. All that cometh is vanity.

9
Rejoice, O young man, in thy youth; and let thy heart cheer thee in the days of thy youth, and walk in the ways of thine heart, and in the sight of thine eyes: but know thou, that for all these things God will bring thee into judgment.

10
Therefore remove sorrow from thy heart, and put away evil from thy flesh: for childhood and youth are vanity.

boys are immature and actually develop later than girls

thats why boys will still be reading Captain underpants and the perilous potty people while girls of the same age would be reading Drama or Anne of Green Gables and Little Women

anyway

I dont think its anything to do with looks as is supposed but intellectual maturity.

when you around little children all day it can be exhausting though, especially BOYS

and most men arent actually as grown up as you think they are...most are still just big boys at heart.

So be it, Haven't you ever thought that God just added his loneliness feelings to Adam?
Was God alone before he created the world?
