Followed your link. So many posts sometimes I inevitably pass over some. You're a sweetheart for doing that you know. I looked a kissing emoji (PLATONIC! RELAX!), but there is none.I see you found it![]()

I also have used Photoshop and Keynote to create slides for church services. Thanks! I don't even know how to create a layer mask LOL. That might be handy. But I slog away![]()
There are textures in my blending options. I have used those for a long time (not textures, but the blending options) to add contour and outer glow to the text to help separate it more from the background, but I have started experimenting more with things like that, not the font so much, it needs to be legible, but adding texture to my outer border, for instance. I use the same one over and over again, so by adding a color layer or stroke or texture I can really change the look of it, also making it match the rest of the panel better, since it starts out pale gold. Opacity is also in the Blending Options. Use that a lot, too.I'm not sure how to do that either, but I know enough (layers, modes, alphas, etc.) to create the textures I need to create.
Man sure your elements don't "fight" with each other. Make sure that thing you want to have the most attention is the most clearly visible, with everything else taking a visual back seat (not that you asked me or anything).
Like a movie... with a desperate man about to do something desperate, covered in grime and sweat, and clearly having had enough of the battle...I read earlier on here about mosquito's. If you want to keep them away use sandalwood oil. Warning though it may keep humans away too. It does not smell the best.

I like the "grungier" look. Adds a certain character to it. It's not so slick and flashy. My eyes though bounce between the woman the text equally. I do not know which one to focus on.![]()

This border has texture added to give it a bit of a grunge feel/distressed look![]()
I say that with a desire to make you better, not to criticize.I like the "grungier" look. Adds a certain character to it. It's not so slick and flashy. My eyes though bounce between the woman the text equally. I do not know which one to focus on.
Yes Ruby. Yes. My death will win this war. And... my pain will cease.Like a movie... with a desperate man about to do something desperate, covered in grime and sweat, and clearly having had enough of the battle...
I lie in wait near a pond, where the mosquitos gather. I am covered in an odor the mosquitos cannot resist. Before you know it, I am the flame to their moth. Finally, surrounded by hundreds, thousands of them, I flick the switch to detonate the C4...
I have used a grunge overlay on other panels, but don't like things messing with the inner areas too much.I like the "grungier" look. Adds a certain character to it. It's not so slick and flashy. My eyes though bounce between the woman the text equally. I do not know which one to focus on.
Works for me! I'd make the sub-text a little more visible, but this works, IMO.I have used a grunge overlay on other panels, but don't like things messing with the inner areas too much. Some of my grunge elements are more for around the outer edges. That works well for me. Like this one:

Hire some spiders,... and praying mantises. This is a sandalwood thing that you burn to keep the mozzies away. Maybe it is too chemical but it works. I am living in the hills for just another week and there are plenty here. I will not be sad to see the last of them.
Excellent. Thank you!@Gojira

Select a layer, and then click the icon in the lower right corner to add a mask,
Then use black, only black, to draw a mask, and
Then the black part becomes transparent.
White is opposite

I wouldn't. I love insects. Just not mosquitos and roaches. This country is full of spiders and insects, that's why everything that eats them is overweight. They have plenty to choose from.
Most houses have insect zappers, pest treatments etc to keep everything down to a minimum.
Anyways, you just get used to it.
