spring is coming...
it seems like my cousin has adopted two bunnies
I will go see them maybe tomorrow as Ive got some hay. Im not sure who looks after them when shes away at work though.
Im not sure I could adopt a pet or baby and just leave them, with the neighbours to babysit while I go off to work ...even if I could afford a house. I hope she knows what shes doing. They might chew through her floorboards

There was an incident here today at a grocery shop that I did some grocery shopping in. One of the employees was replenishing some stock in the pet aisle and someone came up behind her and stabbed her with a 40cm knife. There is no connection between the two people according to the police. This person purchased the knife earlier that day and late in the afternoon used it on someone. Incredible the things that are going on.

I arrived just after the incident and was wondering why there were so many police in the shop. There were no check out operators and the staff all seemed to be in shock. I only learnt of what actually happened when I saw it on the news. I thought it was just another robbery. Incredible that you can get immune to it all and call it "Just another"

I have to be a careful with my craft knife I use in the library to when cutting book covers etc. I always hide it away so that children cant play with it.
I have scissors and things too, but a knife is more of a fascination for some.

My sister once gave me a swiss army knife keyring. I never used the knife and just had it on my keys cos my name was on it but I had to take it off cos I caught one kid 'playing' with it.

I know that a lot of young people DO self-harm these days with knives and cut themselves even deliberately. Which is just as bad as if they used it on someone else.

but when working with children you really have to childproof everything. Out in the world, well, its like we have to people proof everything! But unfortunately terrible things can happen I dont think anyone can be always sheltered and immune to the suffering that goes on in the world.

eek alright. The staff were all shaken up and in shock.
It seems the woman who did the stabbing they are saying had mental issues. I dont know whether that is truth or an excuse to get out of sentencing. I just pray that the truth prevails and she is dealt with accordingly. If she has mental issues that she gets saved and help. If it has been an excuse that the truth comes out and she has to endure the consequences.

well with mental illness and all types of crazy (having experienced some of it) its like you are NOT in control of your mind. so the treatment would be not just being locked up for her own and others safety but also delieverance to deal with whatver is making her think that way

if its just cold heartedness then I dont know usually people dont stab complete strangers randomly. I wouldnt think its just someone got in the way of my knife.

I dont know what the consequences of stabbing someone would be...paying for their medical treatment? Like what happened to that guy that shot 50 people at the mosque on some racist rampage. what is the consequence for him? Life in prison sure but what is he doing about the victims and all the widows and orphans. or does he just get free meals, to watch tv and read books in prison. Or I dont know what they really do in prison. Meet other criminals and swap notes on crimes?
