I imagine a lot of people wouldn't appreciate it if there was a football team called the crackers or the honkeys

being in georgia i know this first hand- the atlanta braves baseball team keeps that name with the blessing from the cherokee indian tribe.

Yes agree there is a militarization all around, but these nations have also prepared for war in other ways for many years, is my point, not just for the ruling class but for the people, food, supplies etc.,

The things you mention are things a nation would need to prepare for war. The USA is capable of protecting it's people because of something it's been doing for years which is that it has military presence and assistance all around the world. Assistance most people may not see as important but it's as important as an entire Aircraft carrier attack group. Why I mention it is that because the US is a NATO member and also allies with many other nations it means that their military can operate outside it's borders and those vessels have ports where they can refuel and restock with provisions or make repairs on a global scale. If not their vessels need to be fitted,supplied or refueled at sea which limits the range they can travel around the globe or return to the US for those items.
This is the same regardless of the branch of the US military, Army,Air force, Marine Corp. or Space Force. Having the ability to already have ports or bases where the whole defense package is staged means that it can be deployed in short notice in that given theater. Also it means that it is already capable of receiving and resupplying those military branches on multiple continents and defending any resupply vessels or Aircraft supplying those items.
It requires Congressional approval for the USA to leave NATO but the POTUS is also the Commander and Chief of all military forces in the US, So the POTUS can downsize the number of personal and supplies in any of the Bases or ports at his or her discretion. If an POTUS(any) were to diminish these items without need it would have a critical effect on our military to defend it's people. From the things I mentioned though if for instance we soon see 10,000 troops pulled out of Poland and sent elsewhere it might not mean a diminishing of that power without knowing why they were sent to that other place.

WW3 has been underway since the 1970's. It is not nation against nation. It is Islam against Christian based Western values. Europe is losing the battle and the UK has already lost. America is on the brink. I will give Mr Trump his due. If the Democrats had their way, America would be going the way of Europe. Mr Trump has stopped that rot for now.

well i mean if our economy is destroyed, our beuracracy gutted, and we are politically & economically isolated from all the nations that used to be our allies...

Russia has been increasing their military since around 2011-12 and so much that it's becoming apparent that it's not just about Ukraine.
