each covenant corresponds to a Jerusalem the old covenant to the earths Jerusalem and the new covenant to the heavenly Jerusalem where Christ sits on the throne

that’s from Paul’s allegory of the two covenants he’s saying the one given through moses on Sinai corresponds to the Jerusalem that is on this earth now

and the new covenant represented by Isaac corresponds to the heavenly Jerusalem . It’s almost like you don’t believe there is a heavenly Jerusalem that is going to come forth from God after this whole earth is destroyed and is no more .

Brother after discussing a bit with you I can offer this , from the beginning of the Bible creation has two aspects the heavenly things and the earthly things creation has two aspects but is one creation . Take that as you will but is just a thought I think might help

what happened to cause the need for salvation was that in the beginning God gave the earth to mankind.

So when Satan is given dominion on earth it is because he got it from mankind who received it from God in the beginning.

What this causes was a defiling of the earth before God so he turned the world over to satan because man had served him in the earth and not thier creator who loves them . That’s why we see the time when Satan has authority On earth he gets it from mankind

It is man who brought the curse through that covenant and Satan who led them astray .

you are trying to cling to as if Christ wasn’t the one promised to come and deliver Israel , he came just like the prophets concluded he would come to restore Israel , but they rejected and would Not receive him , they Accused and beat and crucified Him for claiming to be who he was .

so God said have your way I will utterly destroy you and I’ll send the kingdom to to others who will accept him and produce the fruits I’ve always asked of you but you would not hear .

God would have restored this world through Christ , but they cast him out of this world and crucified the prince of life so as was always foretold God is making everything new including the new Jerusalem which is in heaven but will

you see, if you read the prophecy concerning God bringing judah and Isreal back and making them one again, and they will no longer continue in there sin (this is said in many places, I gave you just one) you would see what Paul is talking about here, the time of the gentile will end, and when it is done, Israel will repent

the most important thing you should see is the gifts of God are irrevocable. God gave an unconditional gift to abraham though 1 son, god does not rev it on his promises. if he does, non of us are safe

Also in the Book of Revelation the horns on the beast shall destroy the harlot city with fire..

15 "And he saith unto me, The waters which thou sawest, where the whore sitteth, are peoples, and multitudes, and nations, and tongues. {16} And the ten horns which thou sawest upon the beast, these shall hate the whore, and shall make her desolate and naked, and shall eat her flesh, and burn her with fire."

Jerusalem cannot be the harlot because the harlot in the Bible is made up of people of many nations and tongues.. This does not point to just Israel and the Jews in Jerusalem with their palestinian and arab minorities.. The harlot of the Bible is a multinational.. And is destroyed earlier in the Book of Revelation.. before the final battle of Amaggedon.. where the beasts army will be amassed to attack jerusalem..

Yet some people insist Rome is the city responsible for the blood of the prophets.

Scripture sometimes has no effect because we don’t follow the progressive unfolding message that’s there overall . But look and stop at each scripture as if it has its own definitive message rather than carrying its own specific part of the message.

Prophecy tells a story it isn’t a bunch of different scriptures but an unfolding revelation of Jesus Christ and then he came . The Old Testament is only really understood for us by the revelation in the New Testament

I understand it because prophecy says David would sit as king when Israel was restored , and the Levite’s would be the priests , and Moses law would govern the earth , and they would continually sacrifice and then God would accept thier sacrifice that’s all there

but when you have the revelation of the apostles you see it in light thier covenant built up to when the messiah would be born of a virgin , and come to Israel to call the people to repentance .

“Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before me:

and the Lord, whom ye seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even the messenger of the covenant, whom ye delight in: behold, he shall come, saith the Lord of hosts.

And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto the Lord an offering in righteousness.”

the sins of Levi of course are the priests of the children of Israel , but the law had appointed scribes , Israel had elders of thier covenant and then the flock of people here is how they received him when he came
