What does this have to do with the price of eggs in Zambia?
Apparently, not much, in your, and others eyes.
Luke 12
42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of meat in due season?
48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.
51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:
56 Ye hypocrites, ye can discern the face of the sky and of the earth; but how is it that ye do not discern this time?
57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge ye not what is right?
58 When thou goest with thine adversary to the magistrate, as thou art in the way, give diligence that thou mayest be delivered from him; lest he hale thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the officer, and the officer cast thee into prison.
59 I tell thee, thou shalt not depart thence, till thou hast paid the very last mite.

1 Peter 2
5 Ye also, as lively stones, are built up a spiritual house, an holy priesthood, to offer up spiritual sacrifices, acceptable to God by Jesus Christ.
7 Unto you therefore which believe he is precious: but unto them which be disobedient, the stone which the builders disallowed, the same is made the head of the corner,
8 And a stone of stumbling, and a rock of offence, even to them which stumble at the word, being disobedient: whereunto also they were appointed.

In all your inane attacks I don't see an answer to the question sport!

You said in your ridiculous video that people can have the Holy Spirit, but can run out of Him. So how MUCH Holy Spirit does one have to have to be saved, grasshopper?

Why do you fear answering that?
I'm just bumping into the discussion here, so bear with me, please.

Ephesians 5:18 KJV
And be not drunk with wine, wherein is excess; but be filled with the Spirit

Apparently, one can have the Spirit, but not be filled with the Spirit. What's your take on this verse? To what degree is he talking about being filled?

Let's talk about it. :)

This passage ^ (as I've repeatedly posted [in reference to this ^ ] throughout this thread, in places), is in the context of His Second Coming to the earth, FOR the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom [NOT "our Rapture"]...

Verses 36-37,38,40..."when he will RETURN FROM the wedding" (i.e. as an "ALREADY-WED Bridegroom"), THEN the meal (the G347 - 'shall sit down [around a table/at a meal]' [like Matt8:11 and its parallel]).

"The MARRIAGE" itself (pertaining to "the BRIDE/WIFE [SINGULAR]") is NOT the same thing/identical to "the wedding FEAST/SUPPER" (the EARTHLY MK age; and having to do with the "GUESTS [PLURAL]," the "10 [/5] VirginS/Bridesmaids [PLURAL]," and the "SERVANTS [PLURAL; of that specific, future, limited time period leading UP TO His Second Coming to the earth]"--NONE of whom He is "RETURN[-ing]" to MARRY--ONLY "the BRIDE/WIFE [SINGULAR]," which will have ALREADY TAKEN PLACE by the time of His "RETURN" to the earth, FOR these "wedding FEAST/SUPPER [/MEAL]" scenes, whose "characters/persons" (in these contexts) will not [ever] have "lifted off the earth" (this is His "RETURN" to the earth, FOR the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom [NOT "our Rapture," per contexts])

you say that ALL 10 virgins had oil (The Holy Spirit), but 5 didn't have enough of the Holy Spirit. Tell me how much Holy Spirit you have to have to be saved please?
Hmmm. Interesting.
I always thought the five foolish virgins didn't have any oil. But reading the passage I now see they did have oil. For how does a lamp burn and then go out if it did not have oil in it to begin with?

Matthew 25:7-8 KJV
“Then all those virgins rose and trimmed their lamps. 8“The foolish said to the prudent, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’

Their error was in having no more oil and not being prepared to meet the Lord when he returned. In parable talk, that meant not having more oil with them when what they had ran out and their lamps were no longer lit.

Interesting.

EDIT TO ADD:

I am always pointing out (in these discussions) the distinction between the two "WITH" words... "WITH [G4862 - syn - denoting "UNION-with/IDENTIFICATION-with] Him," that is used with regard to "the Church WHICH IS HIS BODY [SINGULAR]" (Eph1:20-23 WHEN); and the other, "WITH [G3326 - meta - ACCOMPANYING] Him" that pertains to the "10 [rather, the 5] VIRGINS [PLURAL]" who will (at an entirely distinct time-slot from "our Rapture") go in WITH [G3326] Him to "the wedding FEAST/SUPPER" (aka "the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom, commencing upon His "RETURN" to the earth [see also Lk12:36-37,38,40,42-44 "when he will RETURN FROM the wedding" [i.e. as an "ALREADY-WED Bridegroom" at that point in the CHRONOLOGY (Rev19:7 aorist)] THEN the meal [the G347 - 'shall sit down' (around a table/at a meal)]" of Matt8:11 and its parallel, which is "the promised and prophesied EARTHLY Millennial Kingdom" as I said).

"The BRIDE/WIFE [SINGULAR]" (pertaining to "the MARRIAGE" itself (being spoken of in v.7 ^ and like in 2Cor11:2 "I [Paul] have espoused you [plural] to One Husband, that I [Paul] may present A CHASTE VIRGIN [singular] to Christ"... etc) is NOT the same thing as "the wedding FEAST/SUPPER" pertaining to "the guests [PLURAL]," the "10 [/5] Virgins [PLURAL], and the "Servants [PLURAL]" of that future, specific, limited time period that will lead up to His "RETURN" to the earth, and THEIR ENTRANCE into the promised and prophesied EARTHLY MK age...
(some, having survived the trib yrs, entering in their MORTAL bodies [like Dan12:12! and Matt25:31-34! and Lk12:36-37,40,42-44 just mentioned, etc], these being capable of reproducing/bearing children, unlike those who will have "died" during the trib, who will be "resurrected" ['to stand again on the earth'], and "be like the angels [i.e. not having that capacity]" (there's more... but ppl don't "read much" these days of the Internet Clips :D )

[see also Lk12:35,36-37,38,40,42-44--the passage I just wrote about in the previous posts--and note that they need "lamps" in the watches OF THE NIGHT; v.38, and other passages I pointed out...]

No. You had it right the first time. The text ITSELF says they had NO oil.

I have actually lit a lamp with NO oil. The WICK will burn for a minute or so.

These people NEVER had the Holy Spirit.

Look further down. The same verbiage as the dudes that Jesus said He NEVER knew. NOT, that He knew them at one point, and they fell away.

Not trying to sound condescending. Trying to help ya. The way you express your thoughts? May well make sense to someone.

But, it don't to me.

To me? Your posts come off like yer trying to "make people dizzy."
To which, I believe some people are dizzy enough, and don't need to "help" in remaining that way. :)

Some nice Scripture there brother, STILL can't see ANY relevance to what's being discussed here.

I see it now in context that they took no EXTRA oil with them. What they had ran out and they could not refill their lamps in preparation of the return of the Lord.

And I did notice Jesus did not say I NEVER knew you. That caught my attention.

I have been told that the Ephesians 5:18 verse I posted is literally saying 'keep being filled with the Holy Spirit'.

Don't have time now, but we should examine how the Spirit was contained in the temple in the old covenant, for that's where God met with and lived among His people, but there were distinct occasions and circumstances when the Spirit FILLED the temple and overflowed out of the temple and was seen by all. And then there is the time that the Spirit finally departed from the temple.

I'll dig this stuff up as I have time. Extremely interesting topic. Much more to say about it.

You got a second to say WHAT VERSE SAYS EXTRA! Why did you add that? ESPECIALLY in light of the fact the very text itself says they had NONE.

It's not that the foolish virgins didn't have any oil in their lamps. It's that "in their waiting?" They didn't bring their "oil can", with which to "re-fill" their lamps.

What verse says EXTRA?
The passage is talking about extra oil outside of their lamps stored in flasks. The foolish ones did not have that.

It's a parable. It signifies running out of oil and not being prepared for the return of Jesus.

Correct.

The verse just states, "having taken their lamps, took NO OIL WITH THEM" (they had the lamps. they did not have the oil WITH them.)

They had none because, obviously, besides not having brought extra in another flask, their lamps went out.

LOT of adding to Scripture going on here. Here is the whole passage. Show me where it says what YOU are saying:
Matthew 25 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Parable of the Wise and Foolish Virgins
25 “Then the kingdom of heaven shall be likened to ten virgins who took their lamps and went out to meet the bridegroom. 2 Now five of them were wise, and five were foolish. 3 Those who were foolish took their lamps and took no oil with them, 4 but the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps. 5 But while the bridegroom was delayed, they all slumbered and slept.

6 “And at midnight a cry was heard: ‘Behold, the bridegroom [a]is coming; go out to meet him!’ 7 Then all those virgins arose and trimmed their lamps. 8 And the foolish said to the wise, ‘Give us some of your oil, for our lamps are going out.’ 9 But the wise answered, saying, ‘No, lest there should not be enough for us and you; but go rather to those who sell, and buy for yourselves.’ 10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came, and those who were ready went in with him to the wedding; and the door was shut.

11 “Afterward the other virgins came also, saying, ‘Lord, Lord, open to us!’ 12 But he answered and said, ‘Assuredly, I say to you, I do not know you.’

13 “Watch therefore, for you know neither the day nor the hour [b]in which the Son of Man is coming.

"the prudent took oil in flasks along with their lamps" vs. 4

'Extra' oil, besides what was in the lamp.

They had nothing to 'refill' their lamps.
Now compare that to the Ephesians 5:18 verse I shared--'KEEP being filled with the Holy Spirit'.

YOU, made that up. The text says NO such thing.
