I didn't quote any Ellen White quotes and quoted the Bible many times.
My question was simple but you have not answered it.

Where did the sabbath get changed from the seventh day to the first day in the bible?

Just because Jesus rose from the dead on Sunday does not prove this.

9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God. 10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

Rest in verse 9 = sabbatismos

Thayer Definition: a keeping sabbath
the blessed rest from toils and troubles looked for in the age to come by the true worshippers of God and true Christians

Strong's Definition: From a derivative of G4521; a " sabbatism", that is, (figuratively) the repose of Christianity (as a type of heaven): - rest.

There remains a sabbath rest.
As God rested at creation on the 7th day..

Exo 20:8-11
8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. 9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: 10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: 11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Notice that the Seventh day is the sabbath and it is blessed and hallowed.

Nothing in the bible indicates that this was changed.

As Lord of the sabbath, where did Jesus change the Sabbath?

Show us where Jesus and/or the Apostles taught that we must all meet on Saturday.

It's no where in the New Testament... but we do see numerous scriptures where the Apostles gathered ion the FIRST day of the week which is Sunday, the same day Jesus was raised from the dead...

For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.


In the New Testament... there is a new priesthood where Jesus is our High Priest instead of Moses and as such we are no longer under the law of Moses, but now we are under the Law of Christ.

In the New Testament, many mentions of “the law” is actually referring to Law of Christ (aka the Law of Liberty) and is not talking about the old testament law. Christians are NOT called to keep or live under the old testament law, but we ARE called to live under the Law of Christ.

Ultimately this means we are called to abide In Christ which is living after the Spirit and not after the flesh, or to be spiritually minded and not carnally minded (see Romans 8). As we see in Romans 8, to be spiritually minded is life and peace but to be carnally minded is death which is separation from the Lord.

Galatians 6:2
Bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfil the law of Christ.

1 Corinthians 9:21
To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

James 2:12
So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Law of Christ
The phrase "the law of Christ" appears only in Galatians 6:2, although it is implied by the wording of 1 Corinthians 9:21 as well. In both places, its precise meaning is difficult to fix. In Galatians, Paul argues vigorously that the law given at Sinai makes no claim on those who believe in Christ, whether Gentile or Jew ( 2:15-21 ; Galatians 3:10-14 Galatians 3:23-26 ; 4:4-5 ; 4:21-5:6).

He then appeals to the Galatians to engage in ethical behavior by walking in the Spirit ( 5:16 Galatians 16 ), being lead by the Spirit ( 5:18 ), and fulfilling "the law of Christ" (ho nomos tou Christou) through bearing one another's burdens ( 6:2 ). In 1 Corinthians 9 Paul demonstrates how Christians should, out of love for the weaker brother or sister, refrain from demanding their rights.

By way of illustration Paul says in verses 19-23 that he adopts certain Jewish customs when among Jews, although he is not under the Jewish law, and that he adopts some Gentile customs when among Gentiles, although he is not without the law of God but rather "in the law of Christ" (ennomos Christou).

It seems fairly clear from these two texts that Paul uses the phrase to mean something other than the law given to Israel at Sinai and considered by most Jews to be their special possession.

Help is found in the prophets. In Isaiah 42:1-4 we read that God's chosen servant will one day establish justice throughout the earth and that "the coastlands will wait expectantly for His law" (NASB). If we take this passage to refer to the Messiah, then we could paraphrase it by saying that the Christ, when he comes, will teach God's law to the Gentiles ("the coastlands").

Jeremiah 31:31-34 similarly predicts the coming of a time in which disobedient Israel will receive a new covenant, consisting of a law written on the heart and therefore obeyed (cf. Ezek 36:26-27 ).
Jesus' teaching, although standing in continuity with the law given at Sinai, nevertheless sovereignly fashions a new law.

In some instances Jesus sharpens commandments ( Matt 5:17-48 ) and in others considers them obsolete ( Mark 7:17-19 ). On one occasion, having been asked to identify the greatest commandment, Jesus concurs with the Jewish wisdom of his time ( Mark 12:32-33 ) that the greatest commandments are to love God supremely and to love one's neighbor as oneself ( Mark 12:28-31 ). He breaks with tradition, however, by defining the term "neighbor" to mean even the despised Samaritan ( Luke 10:29-37 ).

Paul believed that the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ marked the beginning point of God's new covenant ( 2 Cor 3:1-18 ; Gal 4:21-31 ; cf. Rom 8:2 ). Like Isaiah, he believed that this covenant included the Gentiles ( Gal 3:7-20 ), and like Jeremiah he believed that it offered Israel a remedy for the curse that the old Sinaitic covenant pronounced on Israel's disobedience ( Gal 3:10-13 ).

In light of this, Paul may have understood the teaching of Christ as a new law. If so, then the correspondence between the ethical teaching of Jesus and Paul on many points (e.g., 1 Cor 7:10-11 / Mark 10:2-9 ; 1 Cor 9:14 / Luke 10:7 ; Rom 14:1-23 / Mark 7:18-19 ) is a matter of Paul's intention rather than happy accident. Paul's own admonition to fulfill the law of Christ by bearing one another's burdens provides both a pithy restatement of Jesus' summary of the law and an indication that Jesus' teaching fulfills prophetic expectations.

Saved by faith not works but it is clear, if you read the Bible, that works are a result of the faith and relation we have.
If you love Jesus you will want to obey not disobey Him .

One God that does not change. And the moral law does not change.

Keeping the law because you are save and because you are a child of God is not legalism. Keeping the law to become saved is legalism.

Why don't you murder and steal?
Why don't you take God's name in vain?

Or is it okay to sin and break the law.

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law.

We establish the law, we keep the law, we obey our God because we love Him.

It isn't about meeting on one day... we can meet every day and worship any day of the week.
The question is "should we keep the sabbath holy", the Seventh day sabbath....

There is no question about which day is the bible Sabbath and which day we are asked to remember.
Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

There is no question which day is ther sabbath but people seem to think everything changed when Jesus came.

The law that states remember the the sabbath is quoted many times in the NT.

Jas 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. 11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law. 12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

Mat 19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life? 17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments. 18 He saith unto him, Which? Jesus said, Thou shalt do no murder, Thou shalt not commit adultery, Thou shalt not steal, Thou shalt not bear false witness, 19 Honour thy father and thy mother: and, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

Mat 24:20 But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

It is clear that the 10 commandments were not made void. Jesus was quoting from the OT scripture and both the laws that say Love God and love your neighbour are from the OT.
Act 13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath. ....44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God.
Act 17:2 And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures.

That does not mean the sabbath was changed in any way.
When God made the sabbath Holy and Hallowed it, He clearly stated that fact. To say that it is changed because people meet a few times on sunday is presumption.

Heb 7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

This is refering to the laws that involve the priesthood. all the contents is about the priesthood and the laws given to Levi compaired to the order of Melchisedec.

The laws did change and we no longer need to go to the temple anymore. true a change in the law but i state it again .... their are different laws...

a simple way to show this is ..... Sin is the transgression of the law.. sin was from the start.. Moses came many years latter and introduced many laws. The laws of nature have not change from the start. The civil laws for the nation of Israel do not apply to other nations. But Sin applies to all so the law that defines sin has not changed.

"we are no longer under the law of Moses, but now we are under the Law of Christ." You need to understand what the laws are. The laws of Moses are not the Ten Commandments. They were given to Moses and Moses wrote many other laws at the same time but this is a point of confussion for many.

You see, there is a strange belief on the part of many that the great God-written law of the Ten Commandments was actually a part of the ceremonial law of Moses that contained scores of specific regulations. They do not see the decalogue as being distinct and totally unique because of its divine authorship. Neither do they see the clear limitation that the Bible sets for this moral code by calling it the "Ten Commandments."

Can see how God set these 10 aside from the hundres of other laws.

Totally agree...
But why is it like this?

The Spirit is perfectly in line with the righteousness of the law, and perfectly obeying the law = no sin = no pain and no seperation from God.
To perfectly obey = no guilt
= peace, = no condemnation.

I'm not teaching righteousness by works ....
Rom 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
to walk mean to act and do.......
Rom 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.
Rom 8:3 For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh:
Rom 8:4 That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

walking in the Spirit is a choice....

In 1 Corinthians 9 Paul demonstrates how Christians should, out of love for the weaker brother or sister, refrain from demanding their rights.

By way of illustration Paul says in verses 19-23 that he adopts certain Jewish customs when among Jews, although he is not under the Jewish law, and that he adopts some Gentile customs when among Gentiles, although he is not without the law of God but rather "in the law of Christ" (ennomos Christou).
So it is clear that a law has been taken away and no longer applies.... But that A law is still in place.... Jew or gentile we are all under the same law. The Law of Christ, God's law, The law of Liberty, But we are no longer under the burden of the law given to Moses.

Defining these laws is what helps to understand these texts.

It seems quite obvious that one would effectively do away with the Ten Commandments by mingling them with ninety or a hundred others and calling them “ordinances” instead of commandments. Such a radical effort has been made to dilute the force of the only words of the Bible that God wrote with His own hand. Furthermore, the claim has been advanced that since the Ten Commandments were a part of the mosaic law of ordinances that ended at the cross, we are no more obligated to obey the decalogue than we are to offer lambs in sacrifice.

Is there proof positive in the Scriptures that there was no such blending of the ceremonial and moral law into one? Can it be shown that the Ten Commandments were of a permanent, perpetual nature while the ceremonial law of statutes and ordinances came to an end when Jesus died? Indeed, there is an abundance of evidence to answer these questions with a resounding yes!

God made known this distinction to His servant Moses, and Moses explained it to the people at Mt. Horeb. “And he declared unto you his covenant, which he commanded you to perform, even ten commandments; and he wrote them upon two tables of stone. And the Lord commanded me at that time to teach you statutes and judgments, that ye might do them in the land whither ye go over to possess it” (Deuteronomy 4:13, 14).

Please notice how Moses clearly separated the Ten Commandments, which “he commanded you,” from the statutes which “he commanded me” to give the people.
The big question now is whether those statutes and judgments, which Moses passed on to the people, were designated as a separate and distinct “law.”

God answers that important question in such a way that no doubt can remain. “Neither will I make the feet of Israel move any more out of the land which I gave their fathers; only if they will observe to do according to all that I have commanded them and according to all the law that my servant Moses commanded them” (2 Kings 21:8).

Daniel was inspired to make the same careful distinction when he prayed for the desolated sanctuary of his scattered nation. “Yea, all Israel have transgressed thy law, even by departing, that they might not obey thy voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned against him” (Daniel 9:11).

Once more we see “thy law” and “the law of Moses,” and this time the two are recognized as different in content. There are no curses recorded in the Ten Commandments that God wrote, but the law which Moses wrote contained an abundance of such curses and judgments.

The major point of difference between the law of God and the law of Moses, though, lies in the way they were recorded and preserved. Exodus 31:18, “two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.”

No one can confuse this writing with the way the mosaic law was produced. “And Moses wrote this law ... And it came to pass, when Moses had made an end of writing the words of this law in a book, until they were finished, That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying, Take this book of the law, and put it in the side of the ark of the covenant of the Lord your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee” (Deuteronomy 31:9, 24-26). This book of statutes and judgments which Moses wrote in a book was placed in a pocket on the side of the ark. In contrast, the law written by God on tables of stone was placed inside the ark of the covenant. “And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee” (Exodus 25:16).

We can note several distinctions in the two laws. They had different authors, were written on different material, were placed in different locations, and had totally different content.

Now let’s take a closer look at the ceremonial ordinances that Moses wrote in the book. They were to repose in the “side of the ark ... for a witness against thee.” It is interesting to note that the curses and judgments of this law spelled out penalties for transgression which were totally missing from the Ten Commandments. For this reason, the ceremonial law was considered to be a law that was “against” them. Even in the New Testament, we read the same descriptive language in reference to that law. “Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross” (Colossians 2:14).

Certainly, there was nothing in the Ten Commandment law that could be defined as “contrary” to Paul and the church to whom he was writing. It was not “against” those early Christians to refrain from adultery, theft, lying, etc. On the other hand, that moral law was tremendous protection to them and favored every interest in their lives. We have only to read Paul’s exalted description of the Ten-Commandment law to recognize that those eternal principles were never blotted out or nailed to the cross. After quoting the tenth commandment of the decalogue in Romans 7:7, Paul wrote these words, “Wherefore the law is holy, and the commandment holy, and just, and good” (verse 12). Then he continued in verse 14, “For we know that the law is spiritual ...”

If the Ten Commandment law had been blotted out at the cross, would Paul have spoken in such glowing language of its perfection and spirituality? He did not speak of a past law. He said, “the law is holy ... the law is spiritual.” In other words, it was very much alive and operating when Paul wrote to the Roman church. In contrast, he described the handwriting of ordinances in the past tense: “was against us ... was contrary to us.” It is certain he was not speaking of the same law. One was present, and one was past.

We are under the Law of Christ now... NOT the law of Moses.

Jesus or His Apostles never taught that New Testament believers are to observe and keep "the Seventh day sabbath"

You can do that if you want... but if you start calming we must do this to be saved, that would be teaching false doctrine!

After Jesus’s Crucifixion, we read in Mark (15) (42) Now when evening had come, because it was Preparation Day, the day before the Sabbath, Joseph of Arimathea, a prominent council member, went to Pilate and asked for the body of Jesus. Pilate granted this.

Since it was evening before Joseph approached Pilate to claim Jesus’s body, and they had to retrieve it, prepare it, wrap it in white linen, place it in the Tomb, and cover the opening, the daytime part of Friday was virtually gone. The dividing line between day and night was sundown, and they were so close to sundown that Friday cannot be counted as a day of Jesus’s Prophecy. However Friday night can be counted, and it proceeds as follows [Fri night -night #1] [Sat. day - day #1 ] [ Sat. night - night # 2 ] [ Sun day - Day # 2 ] [ Sun night - night # 3 ] [ Mon. day - day # 3 ] The day of Jesus’s Resurrection is Monday.

It is the Babylonian Catholic Church that insisted the Resurrection was on Sunday and not on Jesus’s Prophetic day Monday.
They promoted this Lie many centuries ago, when their power and influence on Christianity was much greater than today.

The Babylonian Catholic Church needed this Lie to promote another Great Deception on Christianity, they used this Lie ( The Sunday Resurrection ), as a reason to change the Sabbath from Saturday to Sunday.

They freely admit to changing the Sabbath, and explain their reasoning for changing it on their website, Catholic Answers, which states - “ Sunday Worship is justified by a tradition, handed down from the Apostles, which took its origin from the very day of Christ's Resurrection”

Handed down from the Apostles is not true, we will see throughout Acts, the Apostles worshiped and preached on the seventh day ( Saturday) Sabbath.
Using the false Sunday Resurrection as an excuse to change the Sabbath is in true Satanic Tradition, of one Lie supporting another Lie.

After Jesus’s Ascension to Heaven, the Apostles continued Honoring and Preaching on the Seventh Day (Saturday) Sabbath.

Acts (13) (42-44) So when the Jews went out of the Synagogue, the Gentiles begged that these words might be preached to them on the next Sabbath. On the next Sabbath almost the whole city came together to hear the Word of God. ( Showing that the Sabbath is not just for Jews. )

Acts (16) (13) And on the Sabbath Day we went out of the city to the riverside, where prayer was customarily made.

Acts (17) (2) Then Paul, as his custom was, went to them and for three Sabbath, and reasoned with them from the scriptures.

Acts (18) (4) (Paul) and reasoned in the Synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks. (again showing that the Sabbath wasn’t just for Jews).

Luke (4) (31) (speaking of Jesus) Then he went down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and was teaching them on the Sabbaths (Plural) Showing that Jesus also preached on the Seventh Day Sabbath.

The Babylonian Catholic Church referred to Sunday as The Lord's Day. This has been created by the Babylonian Catholic Church, for there is no reference to this anywhere in the Bible. However; the Seventh Day ( Saturday) Sabbath has many references as being the Lord’s Day.

Exodus (20) (7) ”The Seventh Day is the Sabbath of the Lord thy God”.

Isaiah (58) (13) The Lord says ”The Sabbath is my Holy Day”.

Isaiah (66) (23) The Lord says “From one Sabbath to another, All Flesh shall come to worship before Me”.

On paragraph 2175 of the Babylonian Catholic Church’s Catechism, the Church states that the Seventh Day Sabbath is the Jewish Sabbath. However ; in Mark (2) (27) Jesus says “The Sabbath is made for Man”. In the Greek text the word for man is Anthropos, which means the Whole Human Race.

In conclusion, I present to you two contradictory statements. You decide which one is the true statement.

[1] “ Saturday is no longer the worship day of God”- So says Pope Benedict (16th) on Monday July 25, 2005.

[2] “ From one Sabbath to another, All Flesh shall come to Worship before Me” From Isaiah (66) (23) and is a quote from The Lord Thy God.

The Fourth Commandment states “Remember the Sabbath to keep it Holy.” That was written in stone by the hand of God. I think it’s important.
