I am not sure how long I was on the floor but yes my foot was healed and after that event God has been much more active with me I am in his presence more often and he has been giving me more dreams lately too since then he normally rarely gives me dreams but it has been more active lately some of them he allowed me to speak with my deceased grandpa
That's wonderful Blain! It is the Lord, things about you changed for the better. Enjoy!

God is so much fun and amazing and loving, and kind, and tender, and powerful, and beautiful, and always knows exactly what we need from Him and when we need it... He's so so so beautiful in everything He does! I so love how our Father, Lord Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit is interacting with you! Keep sharing with all of us, no matter what others think, say or do!

It's not a laughing matter that you are falling into.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one
who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. On that day many will say to me, ‘Lord,
Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many
mighty works in your name?’ And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you; depart from
me, you workers of lawlessness.’ Matthew 7:21-23
It is not funny......

SImple you're not "Given" anything. you'r simply EMPOWERED temporarily at the Holy Spirit's choosing, when the situation requires it. "Tongues" in the "Message in tongues" sense is completely "temporary", just like Prophesy, or interpretation. I have interpreted many times, but in and of myself I couldn't if you held a gun to my head. The HOLY SPIRIT has the "Gifts", and he empowers people to manifest them WHEN HE PLEASES.
Tibetan monks have been empowered with tongues.

Witches, too, are empowered when they speak in tongues.

No one is denying that the power is real.
Its real power.

Tell me, how many people have you personally led to the Lord?

This doesn't match scripture. These early church, temporary gifts....were given to individuals. That is why we see Paul teaching them how to use them. They were having a "free for all" with their gifts and Paul had to put a stop to it.

Personally, I would be very leery about a spirit today giving me temporary "gifts."

God does not waste anything...
He sometimes uses the bad as compost for His garden..

Even these people, He will use to save some.

The Temporary gifts were God's lifeboats given until the rescue helicopters were provided to lift them up and place them on solid THINKING. Thinking, provided by the NT when it was finally given, as it is to be known by God's people today.

These people put emotional experience above written truth, truth to know and live by, is the problem with those who willfully remain undisciplined by the Spirit. The Holy Spirit, who wants to transform them into actually walking in the mind (Thinking) of Christ.

When there is a war, all sorts of reactions will become manifest.

I already knew the answer about how many people you have led to the Lord by your posting history.

The Father's Will is for us to believe who Yeshua claimed to be and to obey Him.

1. Great Commission
2. in my name they will cast out demons; they will speak in new tongues

It's obvious you don't follow anything but your own intentions.

And the signs and wonders showed/proved the veracity of this MESSAGE. His word is stamped and approved.

Heb 2
1 For this reason we must pay much closer attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away from it. 2 For if the word spoken through angels proved unalterable, and every violation and act of disobedience received a just punishment, 3 how will we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? After it was at first spoken through the Lord, it was confirmed to us by those who heard, 4 God also testifying with them, both by signs and wonders, and by various miracles and by gifts of the Holy Spirit according to His own will.

The signs and wonders were needed because what they were presenting was revolutionary and dangerous without protection.
God needed to place a seal of approval upon them that all could see.

Acts 4:29-31
Now, Lord, consider their threats and enable your servants to speak your word
with great boldness. Stretch out your hand to heal and perform signs and wonders
through the name of your holy servant, Jesus.”
After they prayed, the place where they were meeting was shaken. And they were all
filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke the word of God boldly.
grace and peace ........

If the gifts were temporary, why such the big deal of Peter preaching to the people in Acts 2 of prophecy?
What about the epistles of Paul to the churches about the proper use of gifts, the intentional teaching that prophecy was the main gift, as well to teach all gifts & ministry were to be used for the purpose of edifying the church?
This teaching was NOT separated by any writer to say it's temporary.
What I CAN SEE is the calling & gifts are given without repentance.

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance.
Those who believe the gifts no longer exist speak against God's word, thus against God Himself.
There's no fear of God in them.
I would not dare to speak against it unless there was some absolute biblical evidence to say so.
Even then 2 or 3 witnesses, no one-verse over magnifying nonsense.
2 Corinthians 13:1 This is the third time that I am coming to you.
ON THE TESTIMONY OF TWO OR THREE WITNESSES EVERY MATTER SHALL BE CONFIRMED.
