You don't even know that we have to repent of our sins to get saved, and you want to give your opinion on things of God?
You do not even know you preach Catholic doctrine, I am still waiting for you to show me the difference??

You don't sound like you know the joy of the Lord and being saved.
I don't know about anyone else, but I experience the thing's I am unable to achieve when the spirit causes me to do so. I try to be humble, patient, love my neighbor, etc. But I feel the falseness of my attempts, but when the spirit wills and compels me it is then that I found I am able to do such things as mentioned in the sermon on the mount (for example).
It's the undisputed leading of the spirit that astounds my finite mind and causes my being to feel, accomplish, and undoubtedly believe that the grace and mercy of God are bestowed upon me. It is then I find myself giving glory beyond my ability.
Nope, I have definitely proved that the will and grace of God do not change because of .y obedience of lack thereof.
I would put my serenity on the line as to bed that you sir would deem it absolutely absurd and impossible to fathom the idea that I could jack heroin in my veins and still have the ability to love God wholeheartedly.
Use righteous judgement please. Though it matters none, for if is God and God only who justifies and condemns.
Remember those forgiven little are thankful little. Those forgiven much are much more thankful.
You have no idea of the love and gratitude I carry for my lord and my god.

If I agreed to work for $100 a day and at the end of the day received $100. Nobody gave me anything. I earned it. If some gave me $100 and I volunteered to work. They gave me $100 and I worked for them. The $100 was already mine. I showed my love by assisting them in whatever measure I could.

We are not inmates or indentured servants. But rather adopted children of a king.
The works that do not save anymore are the purification/ceremonial works of the law.

Jesus' words are SPIRIT AND LIFE.

You are not going to get that life if you don't do what Jesus says.

How much work is it to repent of your sins and call on Jesus to help you?

Obeying Jesus is Spirit and life. You don't love if you don't obey.

Oh let me talk to you, come on let's talk.
You do NOT love God if that is what you are doing.
Use righteous judgement please. Though it matters none, for if is God and God only who justifies and condemns.

If you are still doing heroin, then you are badly mistaken.

Well, I don't know about 2,000 years ago but I was adopted in 1957. Their were no conditions on my part. I was a baby but they chose to love me, feed me and care for me before I was able to understand anything. They loved me first. That's my example.
You aren't saved until you have faith that is not dead.

I see you don't have it and are falsely puffed up.
I just got tired of looking for it in the translation that I partially recall. The most important thing is that willing obedience comes from love and respect for God. (many translations use the word fear) But I hesitate to use that term because it's so difficult for me to love what I am afraid of. I tend to run from my fears. I run to God even when it means chastisement. and feeling like a child. I will snivel and complain and compare my self with others until I realize I need chastisement. Then when I surrender I can be useful again.

If you are looking for a policeman to bark out laws and enforce the rules. I'm not that guy. I'm more the older brother that says, "Dad still loves you. Try, I mean really try and accept correction or prepare for another trip to the woodshed. The Father only chastises those who he loves because we need it." Share the love, the devil will gladly accuse. It's his job.

Jesus is the defender not the accuser.

I give you scriptures and explanations. You give worthless opinions and insults. How else can you defend false doctrines?
Correction....You give twisted out of context scriptures and bias drivelistic opinions with no applicable truth.....and so far all you have proven is...

a. You are false
b. You peddle a false gospel
c. You have no understanding of scripture
d. Most disregard everything you say
e. You are a hypocrite....go read your last 14 posts....90% or better contain the same crap you posted to me in this thread and NONE CONTAIN SCRIPTURE BUT DO CONTAIN PHRASES like the following...what a hypocrite you are pal

...just more of your blind talk.

I see you don't have it and are falsely puffed up.

We can't follow his commands without love. I could even bore myself quoting every time Jesus commanded us to love before anything else. "If you love me keep my commandments. Love one another. No greater love has anyone than to give his life. Love the Lord thy God with all you heart, mind and soul and love thy neighbor as thy self, and on and on. Not that we loved him but that he loved us. I believe love is the most talked about way to obey God in the new testament and if we really get it; It's the easiest way to fulfill Gods commandments overall. Love never fails!
Love is obeying.

You contradict the Gospel by making a commitment to obey Jesus Christ for salvation, which is, in its essence, a requirement of a promise future "works" in exchange for salvation.

We could never do enough to put God in our debt.

4 Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5 It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6 Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7 It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

I was looking for puffed up or haughty but this is close enough.

Wrong again.

Matthew 6:12
And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors

How is SIN A DEBT?

1. It supposes obligation.

2. It supposes obligation undischarged.

3. It is an obligation that cannot be denied.

4. It is an obligation that cannot be ignored.

5. It is an obligation that cannot be transferred.

6. It is an obligation that cannot be run away from.

How THIS DEBT MAY BE CANCELLED.

1. Not by repentance.

2. Not by good works.

3. Not by any amount of seeking and striving.

4. But solely by the grace of God forgiving the debt for the sake of Jesus Christ.

(Amer. Hom. Rev.)
