Romans 7: 5-6
5 For when we were in the flesh, the motions of sins, which were by the law, did work in our members to bring forth fruit unto death.
6 But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter

23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members
He's taking about in his mind.

Yes, bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members

One day some of them will come out of the churches, but not all because the bible says,Matthew 7:13-14 13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.
This is talking about the world and the Church, not the Church and a few "enlightened ones".

I'm afraid it is talking about in your words a few "enlightened ones".

I think you have fallen for some strange teachings and as a result have become a faction of one.

Now this is where it get's dangerous telling folks that if you are a true Christian then you will never make a mistake and sin again. Now that is not Biblical. We know that Jesus is our advocate and that if we sin we should repent and he is faithful to forgive. We don't go about sinning and just do whatever, but if we slip then he will pick us back up.

Telling people that we will never make a mistake and sin again is false and could have dangerous effects for young Christians. It's like throwing a stumbling block in their way and kicking people when they are already down. We need to try to encourage and help others and try to help them to get back up not hold 'em down.

I didn't say that . Your thoughts are sometimes bad. You dispise me so much that you will twist my words.

We are currently at my local fellowship, waiting for service to start. After music time, the pastor will give a teaching. The way it’s done here is verse by verse. We are in 1st Timothy. :)

This saddens me that you feel this way. I will pray for you. Seems like you are stuck in your own mindset and anyone that challenges your thoughts is a threat and enemy to you.

I honestly do not have any bad feelings for you, and just because I don't agree with most of the things you say does not mean that I despise you. I just don't agree with you. There is a difference....Just saying

I don't look at the one posting, and assume it's one of the others. It's okay because there will be persecution from the government, and I will have to be able to stand. I don't believe they will persecute anymore belonging to a religion. It will be the ones that look like they don't belong to anything. Because Jesus kingdom is not of this world.

So those who are saved aren't actually saved?

Um, no.

Having read most of this thread (save for the last 12 hours back, or so), I haven't read any of pjharrison's posts, claiming that ones who are saved aren't actually saved. Spiritual "babes", who are saved? ARE "saved!"

What I see him doing is "attempting" to, "foil" the traditions of man, of "becoming comatose" at the Cross of Christ!

If they are saved, then they will be saved at the last day.
