We do acknowledge the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus, and can celebrate that day every day.
I do not believe Jesus was born on December 25.
Those of the past liked to interpret the Bible according to paganism, and like America cater to all people to make them all happy, and their beliefs actually compatible, with a core belief, like the new age movement that interprets all religions according to paganism, and the occult, that will lead all the people who do not love God to follow the New Age Christ, antichrist, in the future.
The Roman Empire did not get rid of their pagan ways, but held unto them, and it became their foundation for the interpretation of scriptures, which we can see today, with the exaltation of people, and all the practices they do.
But it has gone too far with this pagan garbage, and shall we let them win on December 25 with their sun god, and pagan garbage, and try to make it appear as if Jesus the Savior, and greatest of all that created the sun is just the same as their pagan beliefs, and a part of it, as they try to make all religions compatible with their beliefs, but let us celebrate the birth of Jesus and show the separation we have concerning Jesus that He is not part of their pagan belief system, but the Lord who created everything.
For they would like us to celebrate along with them, their pagan ways, and their interpretation of Jesus, but let's show them that we celebrate Jesus as God, and not one of the fellas, like the new age movement that believes Jesus is a good teacher, but not the only teacher, and not the final teacher.
Like the Pharisees they commit blasphemy against the Holy Spirit by relating Jesus to their pagan beliefs, for He is a clean Spirit not an unclean Spirit.
Or should we altogether not celebrate the birth of Jesus, and have nothing to do with their ways, and separate ourselves that way, but then the silence would not do justice if we let them have their way completely.
It will not hurt to celebrate the birth of Jesus and claim Him as above all their ways, and not the Jesus they claim to let it ring forth that we are different than them in the concept of reality.
Luk 14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When thou makest a dinner or a supper, call not thy friends, nor thy brethren, neither thy kinsmen, nor thy rich neighbours; lest they also bid thee again, and a recompence be made thee.
Luk 14:13 But when thou makest a feast, call the poor, the maimed, the lame, the blind:
Luk 14:14 And thou shalt be blessed; for they cannot recompense thee: for thou shalt be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
But as far as gift giving I do not get it, for we give gifts to each other but we do not need the gifts, and then say it is a good thing to give.
Oh here Dad, I got you a Christmas gift for I want to give this Christmas season, although he makes over 100,000 dollars a year, as if he needs the gift, and I do not need the gifts they give me, so it makes no sense.
It makes no sense to be giving gifts, and say it is good to give, when many people do not need the gift, and we give to each other.
Give to the people that need it, like the homeless, and people struggling, for then it would make more sense in gift giving.
Gift giving should all be done for the poor and needy like it should be.
Christmas should only be for the children, but in a way that does not make sense, for they have their needs met, and parents should be giving them things without it being Christmas if they want them to have play things.
And another thing about gift giving on Christmas is why bow down to the corporations, stores, that only care about give me, give me, and they rub their hands together and say oh goody goody during the Christmas season of all the gifts people buy for people that do not need them as a necessity, or to survive.
And all the money spent for trees, and decorations, the same as forth of July, and Easter, and Halloween, which the Christians need to stop spending millions of dollars on them catering to the greedy people who sell stuff.
Let the heathen make the heathen rich, not the Christians making the heathen rich while people are starving, and need clothing.
So many people who claim to be a Christian do not celebrate the gift giving season right anyway catering to businesses, and people who are not in need, when it should be all about the poor and needy, for that is true giving according to Jesus, because they cannot pay you back.
