OH Dear Sister, what you said here was the whole reason for this Thread - for everyone to understand that we cannot be saved either by the Law, which brings death, or by our own works of religion(Saturday vs Sunday/ work or not to work) that will will never please God.
I long to come to Jesus and have rest, and this is so beautiful because He does not condemn us for our sins when we ask for forgiveness.
You still have not answered the question the bible askes? Rom 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?
Our works will never be good enough but He does ask us to go and sin no more.

Joh 8:11 She said, No man, Lord. And Jesus said unto her, Neither do I condemn thee: go, and sin no more.

AMEN AMEN AMEN - Dear Brother - God's will for our lives = sin no more.

Did you see this response to you in my Post #105 ???
Here it is again:

You are 100% CORRECT here = 100%
You said: "The reason God rested and made it Holy was for mans sake. It was a gift to mankind."

Now if you can just nail it down.............

Grace is like a judges pardon to a prisoner. It forgives him, but it does not give him the freedom to break another law. The forgiven person, living under grace, will actually want to keep God’s law in his or her gratitude for salvation. A person who refuses to keep God’s law, saying that he is living under grace, is sorely mistaken.

When you say just nail it down... are you saying to forget about it? Are you saying to leave the sabbath at the cross and never keep it again?

According to the law-pushers of Jesus' day, Jesus Him Self broke the Sabbath.

Law-pushers who believed they kept the law while ignoring the weightier matters.

In like manner according to law-pushers of this day, I am said to break the Sabbath.

Because I follow JESUS CHRIST; I rest in Him and not the traditions of man.

Am I breaking some commandment to worship God every day? No, I am not!

Am I breaking some commandment to corporately worship with local
believers on days other than the seventh day Sabbath? No, I am not!

Why do people make the Sabbath about worshiping God???

1 Therefore, while the promise of entering His rest still stands, let us be careful
that none of you be deemed to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also received
the good news just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value
to them, since they did not share the faith of those who comprehended it.

3 Now we who have believed enter that rest. As for the others, it is just as God has said:

“So I swore on oath in My anger,

‘They shall never enter My rest.’ ”

To me, observing the Sabbath under the new covenant means that you take the last day of the week, don't treat it like a normal work day, gather for a celebration, a feast, basically a day to worship our Heavenly Creator. You know, Yahweh, aka Father, Son, Holy Spirit. I don't know what the big mystery is. The best day of the week!

Read this and find that which was nailed down.

In Him you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands, by putting off the body of the sins of the flesh, by the circumcision of Christ, buried with Him in baptism, in which you also were raised with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.

So let no one judge you in food or in drink, or regarding a festival or a new moon or sabbaths, which are a shadow of things to come, but the substance is of Christ. Let no one cheat you of your reward, taking delight in false humility and worship of angels, intruding into those things which he has not seen, vainly puffed up by his fleshly mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom all the body, nourished and knit together by joints and ligaments, grows with the increase that is from God.
Colossians 2:11-19

What was nailed down???

Worshiping God everyday is wonderful
The question is ..... are you keeping the command that God gave us? Are you obeying the Sabbath Gods way?

It is between you and God to work out what is right and wrong to do on the Sabbath but you must first acknowledge your need to obey the command.

1Jn 2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
1Jn 2:4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Mat 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
Mat 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

1Jn 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

"having forgiven you all trespasses,".... This is salvation by His blood, this is forgiveness for all sins and every sin we can possibly commit.

"having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us." .... This is the ceremonial laws that could not forgive sin that could not save us.

Heb 9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;
Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

So the Sabbath rest which you acknowledge is about rest is now not about rest???

That is great that you rest in Jesus every day.

When God said to Adam you may eat of every tree but not to eat the one tree that caused death. They ate the one that God said not to eat and it resulted in death. obediance was important.
God set aside the sabbath and made it holy.. Gen 2:3 And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.

It is different to the other days. sanctified means set aside for holy use.

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:
Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:
Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

If you treat the Sabbath the same as any other day and forget the commandment above you are not obeying Him, and that is disobedience.

What Two were nailed to the Cross???
Jesus was nailed to the cross which is our means of redemption, pardon, grace, ........
And the ceremonial laws that were a shadow of the cross and were a teacher of the means of salvation were nailed to the cross, Heb 9.

First you say, great! You rest in Him every day. Then you say, if you do not rest...

It is not helpful that you oscillate on the point of resting.

You make no sense. Sorry!

No it is about doing it Gods way. It is about obeying because i love God.
God's way is resting from works to attain to life ever after.

We are reconciled by grace through faith in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ.

I rest my case :D

I'm a retired worship leader...I worship God every day with singing and playing my instrument. What I mean when I talk about worshipping God and the Sabbath is that by setting apart the last day of the week for Him, that is, in itself, an act of worship.
Last Sabbath, I was going to walk to the store and do some shopping. Then I remembered what day it was and put it off. If it had been something that couldn't wait, that would've been different.
The Sabbath is supposed to be a delight, not a burden. Remember, Yeshua said that the Sabbath was made for man, and not the other way around.

Resting in Jesus every day is good,

I'll use another word,
Having peace of God in our heart each day is good.
And obeying the Sabbath the way God commands us to is also good.
