Morning LGF,

Thanks for responding to my post.

I get what you are saying.
I would just like to say though if you don't mind.
I would say it's not just a case of freeing us from sin to love.
Healing is also needed in order to increase our capacity to love.

In order to release me from the hate I had, God had to heal the hurt and pain for the situation's that caused me to hate.
As this happened my capacity to love also increased.

I would also say that the damaged emotions that I had as a result of not knowing my real father, being thrown out by my mother and being sexually abused by my foster dad gave me a distorted view of God as my father.

So as God healed those emotions my view of him started to change which led to me to forgive which was evidence of my increased capacity to love.

I think part of the issue also is that if we do not truly know that he truly loves us it does affect our walk with him and others.

The problem also is that we can allow emotions to dictate faith when the reality is that faith should dictate our emotions.
When we do that emotions fall into line.
But I do say at times emotional healing is needed.

Have a good day.

Bill
Hi BillG, (just woke up my time) thanks for posting back.

Absolutely only God knows how to mend a broken heart. Each one is different based on individual life experiences and stage of growth and walk. I thought your testimony how God took away your hate however is a great example of how he writes his Law in our heart. This is only in reference to one of the ten. The same process takes place also for the other nine and is what the NC and Gospel is about.

Thanks for sharing your testimony and experience BillG I am sure we all can learn a thing or two. Its a good example of the beginning of the NC in your life and walk with the Lord.

May God bless you as you continue in His Word.

Call me Bill.
I need to ask you a couple of questions if I may.

I responded to a post of yours concerning the Sabbath. Not sure if it was in this thread.

I have tried to find where I posted it but for the life of me I can't find it. So the following is from what I remember so I'm not quoting you verbatim. So please correct if needs be.

I asked the question that God says we work 6 days and on the 7th we rest, so do you work 6 days?

You said God has given us 6 days and the 7th is his.

So you did not say whether you worked for 6 days and observed the Sabbath on the 7th.

If you can't find it either I ask it again.

Can I also ask how you observe the Sabbath.

I have asked this question as a general one (not to you) but have not seen a response yet.

Have a great day mate.
May our Father bless you.
I'm soon of to bed so may need to catch up tomorrow.

Hi Bill, thanks for that.

No problem I am behind on my posting and have a bit to catch up on but will respond to yours first as you need to get some rest. I think I responded to this post already and I do remember it. Yes it is true God gives us 6 days to do as we would like to. The 7th is a Holy day no work is to be done this is correct as directed from God's 4th commandment. (Exodus 20:8-11)

Now we know according to the scriptures God's LAW is now spiritual (Romans 7:14) Jesus came to amplify God's Law applying it to the heart. This applies to all of God's commandments. You know the scriptures about murder and adultery if you are to even look on a woman or angry with hate you have already broken God's LAW right?

It is the same with all of God's commandments including the 4th commandment. We have 6 days to do all our work but the 7th is God's and is dedicated to him in worship to remember Him and that he is the creator of heaven and earth and all things therein.

I have my own business normally I am always thinking about work and what must be done. But on the 7th day I put my thoughts aside and dedicate the 4th commandment to God.

The other days yes I work sometimes not physically but will be planning this or that or buying or selling. Also, work for us includes much more from buying and selling (business activity is work) as well as other homely work duties that can be done on other days.

This being said, everything needs to be balanced with what Jesus taught about the 4th commandment and that is it is lawful to do GOOD on the Sabbath; I will desire mercy and not sacrifice. Jesus is the LORD of the Sabbath and we follow Him who loves all because he first loved us.

Hope this answers your questions better than I did earlier.

May God bless you as you seek him through His Words Bill.

Is it possible for a humans mind and heart to be in His Spirit and His word or is it only one or the other?
Hi Hiz, I think this is a great question. Why? because the Spirit and the Word are one like God's LAW and LOVE. The Spirit and LOVE are the power behind the WORD and God's LAW. They are different but cannot be separated. SPIRIT and LOVE are the POWER of God unto salvation to all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW.

John 6
63,
It is the spirit that quickens; the flesh profits nothing: the WORDS that I speak unto you, THEY ARE SPIRIT, and THEY ARE LIFE.

This is the same WORD that was in the beginning with God that without him was not anything made that was made. God's Word is the power of creation of all things NEW and old. Do you want this POWER in your LIFE? IT is the GIFT of GOD to all those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW Him who calls all...

Great Question Hiz,

Thanks for sharing....

In my mind, the question has never been whether believers should lead moral lives. Of course we should! The question is: Do we get there by imperfectly following Laws? or do we get there by following the prompting of the Holy Spirit?

By following the prompting of the Holy Spirit; laws will undoubtedly be obeyed, but we need not be mindful of them.
By Law Keeping, the Law Keeper gets approval for his own efforts. By following the prompting of the Holy Spirit, God gets all the credit and praise for our obedience.

God does not want us independently doing anything for Him! God wants us in total dependence allowing Him to work in and through us. True obedience results from God's effort not our own.
Hello MarcR, yes without HIM all we can do is SIN. Only by abiding IN Him (the Word) through FAITH God works in US to will and to do of HIs own good pleasure in those who walk by FAITH in HIS Spirit (the Word).

It's never been about following the law, and this is where a misunderstanding for many lie. Its has always been about following Christ by faith through love alone. Faith that works by love is what fulfills God's Law in those that walk in His Spirit (Romans 13:8-10).

Obedience is only the fruit of faith and a sign that someone is genuinely following God's Word (Matthew 7:17-27). If you seek obedience without faith you will never attain it because this is the gift of God written on the heart (Ephesians 2:8; Galatians 2:16; Hebrews 8:10-12).

But if you believe God's Word, your faith will be counted for righteousness in God's eyes (Romans 1:17; Philippians 3:9). If your faith does not have the fruit of obedience (God's work in you) than you are still in your sins and have not seen him or known him and your faith is dead (Philippians 2:13; Hebrews 10:26-27; 1 John 2:2-4; 1 John 3:3-9).

What we are talking about is SIN and how SIN will keep all who practice it OUT of God's Kingdom. If you profess to have saving FAITH but your faith does NOT have the FRUIT of OBEDIENCE to God's Word then your faith is DEAD and you are still in your SINS and do not KNOW him who calls us in LOVE to LOVE all as he first LOVED us. LOVE is the fulfilling of the LAW in those who walk by FAITH in God's Spirit. (James 2:18; 20; 26; Romans 13:8-10; 1 John 3:3-10; James 2:8-12; Matthew 7:13-20)

There are only two classes of people spoken about in God's Word. These are those that follow God by Faith through LOVE and those that do not. Those that do NOT BELIEVE have rejected His Word. Those that have NOT Heard the WORD are ignorant and God winks at. Those that have heard the Word however and have rejected God's Word are UNBELIEVERS and unless they repent and confess their SINS they WILL NOT Enter into God's Kingdom (Hebrews 10:26-27)

Thanks for sharing, may God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

Exodus 34

28
And he was there with the Lord forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant. the ten commandments.

ten commandments is covenant.

It is the constitution of old covenant. Than there are law base oN ten commandment, for Example do not commit adultery, than ther is a law base oN do not adultery, It is stone to death. Stone to death not in the ten commandment,

so all tha law is an aplication of ten commandment,

so all the law is covenant.

We are in new commandment or new covenant. Sabbath is old covenant

Hello brother Jackson,

Now is that really all there is to the Old Covenant, only God's 10 commandments?

Do you know God's Word Jackson? If you do not know God's Word how can you know what the truth is? If you do not know what the truth is how can you know the Word of God?

Your post above only shows you do not know God's Word because you do not know what the Old covenant is. If you do not know what the Old Covenant is how can you know what the NEW Covenant is?

If you do not know what God's Word is how can you know if your following the truth or not?

Jesus is the truth and the Word of God. We should only BELIEVE and FOLLOW HIM who loves all. UNBELIEVERS have no part in the KINGDOM of HEAVEN. SIN sill keep all who practice it OUT of God's Kingdom.

.............................

God's 4th commandment is one of the ten ( Exodus 20:8-11 ) and like any of the ten, if we knowingly break it when God ask s us not to we stand guilty before God of committing sin (James 2:8-12). If we do not seek him in repentance and forgiveness we are in danger of the Judgement (Hebrews 10:26-27)

There is not one scripture in ALL of God's WORD that says God's 4th commandment is now ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to worship God on Sunday in it's place.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Hello Brother Jackson, and this is where your problem lies.

You seek truth from the word of men in place of the Word of God. If you do not know the Word of God my friend how will you be not tossed about with every wind of doctrine.

Have you not read if the blind shall lead the blind they shall both fall into a ditch? Only God's Word is true and there is only one that is the teacher for those that seek him who loves all.

If you ask Him he will be your teacher if not spiritual things are spiritually discerned and you will never find him who loves you. Only those who BELIEVE and FOLLOW him who KNOWS them are HIS people because it is written;

"He that says he knows HIM and does not keep HIS commandments is a LIAR and the truth is NOT in HIM. Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins hath not seen him, neither known him. Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous. He that commits sin is of the devil. In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother."

If you do not know God's Word how can you know the truth and the truth giver who wants to be your teacher?

May God help you as you seek Him through His Word.

Hello Jackson,

No friend, I do not go to Church on Saturday to hear a sermon of man. If you trust in man to teach you God's Word how will you know if that man it teaching you the Word of God or another Gospel that is not from God?

If you do not know God's Word for yourself how will you know the truth? Spiritual things are spiritually discerned. Only God's Spirit can teach you His Word but you must seek the truth giver and ask him to be your teacher.

If you do not as the scriptures says, you will be blown about by every wind of doctrine and led away from God.

what is old testament mean brother? Exodus say ten commandment is covenant, and It It in the old testament.
Hello Jackson,

Good question. The Old Testament is the scriptures of the Word of God given because Jesus. The New Testament is the scriptures given at the coming of the Messiah (Jesus). Testament in scripture also means a covenant. So we have the Old Covenant scriptures before Jesus and the New Covenant scriptures at the coming of Jesus. These are the two witnesses. The Old bears witness of the NEW.

What is the Old Covenant .........................

(1) The Ten commandments; Now you can read

Exodus 34:28, And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And He (God) wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

and the Ten commandments were the work of God written by God himself with His own finger................

Exodus 31:18, When the LORD finished speaking to Moses on Mount Sinai, he gave him the two tablets of the covenant law, the tablets of stone INSCRIBED WITH THE FINGER of God. (This was God's Work written by God alone)The Old Covenant does indeed include the 10 commandments but that is not all that makes up the Old Covenant; you left out the other part of the scriptures of the Old covenant written in the same chapter because you trust in your words from man. Please read Exodus 34:18-27. I will only post the last verse here to help you but please read all for yourself....

Exodus 34:27, And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

Now notice something here please. Exodus 31:18 and 34:28 say that God made and wrote the 10 commandments correct and this is part of the Old Covenant. Now NOTICE Exodus 34:27 that you left out. God is telling Moses to write something that God was telling him to write down earlier and it is ALSO a Covenant between Moses and Israel. Please read Exodus 34:18-27 for yourself.

This leads us to the second part that makes up the Old Covenant.................

(2) The Mosaic laws for remission of SIN. The book of the law of Moses was written by Moses and it is ALSO part of the OLD Covenant

EXODUS 24 [5] And he sent young men of the children of Israel, which offered burnt offerings, and sacrificed peace offerings of oxen unto the LORD.[6] And Moses took half of the blood, and put it in basons; and half of the blood he sprinkled on the altar. [7] AND HE TOOK THE BOOK OF THE COVENANT AND READ IN THE AUDIENCE OF THE PEOPLE: and they said, All that the LORD hath said will we do, and be obedient. [8] And Moses took the blood, and sprinkled it on the people, and said, BEHOLD THE BLOOD OF THE COVENANT, which the LORD hath made with you concerning all these words.

NUMBERS 25 [11] Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, hath turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, while he was zealous for my sake among them, that I consumed not the children of Israel in my jealousy. [12] Wherefore say, Behold, I give unto him MY COVENANT of peace: [13] And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even THE COVENANT OF AN EVERLASTING PRIESTHOOD; because he was zealous for his God, and made an atonement for the children of Israel.

DEUTERONOMY 29 [21] And the LORD shall separate him unto evil out of all the tribes of Israel, ACCORDING TO ALL THE CURSES OF THE COVENANT THAT ARE WRITTEN IN THE BOOK OF THIS LAW:

DEUTERONOMY 31 [24] And it came to pass, when MOSES HAD MADE AN END OF WRITING THE WORDS OF THIS BOOK, UNTIL THEY WERE FINISHED, [25] That Moses commanded the Levites, which bare the ark of the covenant of the LORD, saying, [26], TAKE THIS BOOK OF THE LAW, AND PUT IT IN THE SIDE OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD your God, that it may be there for a witness against thee

The Ark of the Covenant was the home of the covenant to God and His people and included both (1) God’s Law (10 commandments) written on stone and (2) The laws of Moses written in book. Together these made up the Old Covenant ………..

DEUTERONOMY 10 [8] At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and to bless in his name, unto this day.

The God’s Law (10 commandments) on two tables of stone were placed inside because they were part of the Old Covenant. The Mosaic law written in a book was also placed in the side of the Ark because it was part of the Old Covenant……………...................

DEUTERONOMY 31 [26] TAKE THIS BOOK OF THE LAW, AND PUT IT IN THE SIDE OF THE ARK OF THE COVENANT OF THE LORD your God that it may be there for a witness against thee

What was the purpose of God's Law (10 commandments) written on stone by God and the Mosaic laws written by Moses in a book...............................

(1) God’s Law (10 commandments)
Purpose; reveals what sin and righteousness (Good and Evil) is and the describes the penalty for sin (Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4; Romans 6:23). It was never a cure for sin. But it was the work of God which is forever and the foundation of the Old Covenant, the New Covenant and the Judgement to come. (Exodus 32:16; Exodus 31:18; 31:18; Exodus 20:1-22; Deuteronomy 10:5; Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4; Romans 6:23; Hebrews 7:19; Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, James 2:10-12, 1 John 3:4, Acts 17:31; Ps 111:7-8; Revelation 12:17; 14:12; 22:14; 1 John 3:5-8; 1 John 2:3-4; Ecclesiastes 3:14)

(2) The laws of Moses (Levitical, ceremonial, sacrificial)
Purpose; was the prescriptive cure for sin with all the Levitical and ceremonial laws, burnt offerings for sin, annual feast days foretelling the plan of salvation which were connected to Feast days with New Moon sabbaths, food and drink offerings and other Holy days. These where all types pointing to Jesus and the plan of salvation and provided a cure for sin through animal sacrifice and food and drink offerings and yearly sin atonement's for God’s people. (Leviticus 1:1-13; Leviticus 23:1-44; Numbers 28:1-31; 29:1-40; Deuteronomy 24:10-11; Exodus 24:3; Deuteronomy 31:24-26; Colossians 2:16-16; Hebrews 10:1; Ephesians 2:14-15; Leviticus 4; 5; 6; Hebrews 4:14; 9;10; John 1:29; not exhaustive there are many more).

Why were the ceremonial laws of Moses (handwriting of ordinances) nailed to the cross and shadows of things to come......

Jesus was our true sacrifice for our sins and the Savior of the world that the ceremonial laws of Moses all pointed to. When Jesus came and died the old Covenant laws of Moses that pointed to Jesus and the plan of salvation was fulfilled (John 1:29; 36; Revelation 5:6; 1 Corinthians 5:6-7; Hebrews 8:2-13; 9:1-28). Jesus is our true Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world and our sacrifice for our sins. It is our sins as well as the ceremonial laws of Moses that were nailed to the cross at the death of Jesus (Colossians 2:14; Ephesians 2:15; John 3:16).

So just as the Mosaic laws for remission of SIN are have a difference purpose to God's Law (10 commandments) they are all temporary Shadows because they were all pointing to Jesus. While God's Law is not temporary they are the manifestation of the Character of God through LOVE.

God's Law (10 commandments) are FOREVER

The Law of God (10 commandments) which includes the 4th commandment is the work of God (Exodus 32:16) whatsoever God does is forever nothing can be added to it or taken away (Ecclesiastes 3:14).
God's Law is perfect converting the soul (Psalms 19:7).
It is the very standard of the Old and New Covenants (Exodus 20:1:17, Hebrews 8:10-12).
God's Law was spoken by God himself to His people (Exodus 20:1-22). Jesus says Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away (Matthew 25:35).
Gods Law is still in force today (Psalms 111:7-8, Revelation 12:17, 14:12, 22:14, 1 John 3:5-8, 1 John 2:3-4 etc.).
The Law of God reveals sin to us so we can see ourselves as we truly are sinners in need of a Saviour (Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4).
It is the great standard of the judgement (Ecclesiastes 12:13-14, James 2:10-12, 1 John 3:4, Acts 17:31).
God's Law is our teacher revealing sin and the character of God and brings us to Christ at the foot of the cross that we might be saved by faith by Him who loves us and washed us in His own blood (Galatians 3:24; Revelation 1:5).

You cannot know the power of God or the Gospel of Grace without the 10 commandments. If there is NO LAW then you do not know what SIN is (James 2:11; Romans 7:7; Romans 3:20; 1 John 3:4). If you do not know what SIN is you have NO need of a Savior. If you have NO need of a Savior you have NO Salvation. If you have NO Salvation you are LOST because it is written.

Romans 2:12, For as many as have sinned without law shall also perish without law: and as many as have sinned in the law shall be judged by the law

Hope this help you. I suggest you read God's Word for yourself. Only God's Word is true. If you seek the truth through others you can be lead astray. If you read the OP you would already know most of what is written in this post already but I see you did not even read the OP of this thread and like many others comment on things that you do not understand.

Jesus promises to be your teach if you ask him and study for yourself and will give you the Holy spirit that he promises to give to those who obey him (Acts 5:32; 14:26). Its your call now.

Only the believers and followers of God's Word are his people. Those that practice SIN will NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.

If you do not as the scriptures says, you will be blown about by every wind of doctrine and led away from God.
brother LGF.

Those that practice SIN will NOT enter into the Kingdom of Heaven.
sabbath is covenant between God and the children of Israel.

Exodus 31
12
And the Lord spake unto Moses, saying,

13 Speak thou also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths ye shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that ye may know that I am the Lord that doth sanctify you.
14 Ye shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defileth it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever doeth any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the Lord: whosoever doeth any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.

Hello Jackson,

In the Old testament the laws of Moses also included civil laws and it someone was found openly sinning against God they were put to death as the scripture you quoted above. Israel stopped practicing these civil laws once they were conquered by the Roman empire as they were then under Roman civil laws.

What you and your friends are missing is that you still do not KNOW God's Word. IN the OLD Testament under the civil laws of Moses if anyone was openly breaking most of the 10 commandments they were openly put to death. This is to teach all that the wages of SIN is death. This is still the penalty for those who continue to practice SIN in the NEW Covenant (Romans 6:23)

Now let's have a look at the scriptures you left out of your post above in relation to many of the other commandments being broken in the civil laws of Moses..................

What you did not mention however was that there was similar punishments given to those that openly broke God’s Law.

For example the death penalty was also used for openly breaking most of the 10 commandments under the civil laws of Israel................

Not honoring your mother and farther (Lev 20:9),

Blaspheming or using God’s name in vain (Lev 24:10-17),

Idolatry (Deut 27:15; Deut 7:25-26),

Serving other God (Deut 13:6-18; 1Sam 26:19),

Coveting and Adultery (2Pet 2:14; John 8:5), evil towards your neighbour (Deut 27:15-26) and yes as the 7th Day Sabbath is one of God’s 10 commandments it was also included and if it was openly broken just like adultery (John 8:5) people were put to death.

Breaking God’s Law (10 commandments) is SIN (1John 3:4) and the wages of sin is death (Rom 6:23). Nothing has changed and this is also recorded in the New Testament scriptures as well, although we are no longer under the civil, ceremonial, ecclesiastical, Levitical, Sanctuary laws of Moses.

Hope this helps you.....

So you never learn from a man? You never hear the sermon?, you never read the bible because a man wrote the bible?
apostle John is a man, he wrote some letter, and you read It and learn from it, brother, God use a man to teach a man.

paul is a man, in his letter he teach another group of a man, and we a man read his letter and learn from this man. Obiously you learn from this man and quote his letter.

Hello Jackson, if you are not a part of God's Israel you have NO part in the NEW Covenant.........

Hebrews 8
8, For finding fault with them, he saith, Behold, the days come, saith the Lord, when I will make a NEW COVENANT with the house of ISRAEL and with the house of Judah:
9, Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, saith the Lord.
10, For this is the COVENANT that I will make with the house of ISRAEL after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
11, And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.
12, For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Who is God's ISRAEL?

"Israel" is only a name given by God himself to represent his people. The origin of the name "Israel" come from Genesis 32:28 where Jacob wrestled with the Angel and prevailed ...for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Its meaning is his posterity will rule as God. Jacob had 12 sons representing the 12 tribes of Israel.

Israel is only a name given by God that represents God's people and today anyone who is following Jesus is part of God's Israel according to God's Word. You become grafted in when you become a BELIEVER in God's Word.

What does God's Word say............................................... ......................…

Let God be true and every man a liar that thou might be justified in thy sayings, and might overcome when thou art judged.

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He says not, and to seeds, as of many; but as of one, AND TO YOUR SEED, WHICH IS CHRIST (Galatians 3:16)

Abraham’s seed is Israel................................................

THERE IS NEITHER JEW NOR GREEK, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: FOR YOU ALL ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS AND IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN YOU ARE ABRAHAM'S SEED FOR YOU ARE ALL ONE IN CHRIST JESUS and IF YOU BE CHRISTS, THEN ARE YOU ABRAHAM'S SEED, AND HEIRS ACCORDING TO THE PROMISE (Galatians 3:28).

No explanation needed, believe God's Word, and again..........................

FOR THEY ARE NOT ALL ISRAEL WHICH ARE OF ISRAEL,: NEITHER, BECAUSE THEY ARE THE SEED OF ABRAHAM, ARE THEY ALL CHILDREN: but in Isaac shall thy seed be called <Christ> That is, THEY WHICH ARE THE CHILDREN OF THE FLESH, THESE ARE NOT THE CHILDREN OF GOD: BUT THE CHILDREN OF THE PROMISE <those who believe> ARE COUNTED FOR THE SEED (Romans 9:6).

FOR HE IS NOT A JEW WHICH IS ONE OUTWARDLY; NEITHER IS THAT CIRCUMCISION, WHICH IS OUTWARDS IN THE FLESH: BUT HE IS A JEW WHICH IS ONE INWARDLY; and CIRCUMCISION IS OF THE HEART, IN THE SPIRIT, AND NOT IN THE LETTER; whose praise is not of men, but of God. (Romans 2:28-29)

Believe the scriptures........................................ ..............................

Galatians 3:28-29
,
There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

Colossians 3:11,
Where there is neither Greek nor Jew, circumcision nor uncircumcision, Barbarian, Scythian, bond nor free: but Christ is all, and in all.

Romans 10:11-13,
For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. For there is no difference between the Jew and the Greek: for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon him. For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

Romans 2:28-29,
For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh: But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God.

The New Covenant is for God's Israel..........................

Jeremiah 31:33-4,
But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people. And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Hebrews 8:10-12,For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people: And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest. For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

Hebrews 10:14-17,
For by one offering he hath perfected for ever them that are sanctified. Whereof the Holy Ghost also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before, this is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them; and their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

Galatians 3:29,

And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise

The New Covenant is for God's Israel which represent God’s followers the believers. If you are not part of God's Israel you are not part of the New Covenant (Hebrews 8:10-12).

God's Israel are those that believe the Word of God and follow it and is why Jesus says If you love me keep my commandments (John 14:15)

This includes the 4th commandment which is one of the ten (Exodus 20:8-11). If we break one of God's commandments we stand guilty before God of breaking them all (James 2:8-12)

There is NO scripture in all the bible that says that God's 4th commandment has now been ABOLISHED and we are now commanded to keep Sunday in place of God's 4th commandment.

Sunday worship is a tradition and teaching of man that has lead many to break the commandments of God. Jesus says that if we follow the traditions of man that break the commandments of God we are not following God (Matthew 15:3-9)

Who should we follow the teachings and traditions of men or the Word of God? Who should we believe the Words of men or the Word of God?

Jackson there is many scriptures I have sent you that you wish to ignore to hold on to your traditions. If you hold on to your traditions and break God's Law you commit SIN. If any continue in KNOWN UNREPENTANT SIN it will keep you OUT of God's KINGDOM.

There is no excuse if you have God's Word that you should NOT BELIEVE and FOLLOW it. As it is written...........

I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects me, and receives not my words, hath one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

Time for me to leave for now friend. My prayer is that you may know him who loves all and find him through His Word....

May God bless you as you seek him through His Word.

Hello Jackson, if you are not a part of God's Israel you have NO part in the NEW Covenant........
You must finally understand that God's Israel is not a biological one, but the spiritual one.

And the spiritual one does not have Moses's Law, but Christ's Law, which is the NEW covenant.
