The word for gods here, is Eloyhim.

If that means it is GOD because of the El, or that EL is a personal first person name for the God of Abraham, then, errr you got problems explaining away the above.

I feel everybody is mistaking my stance on these issues. Never once have I said Falith alone, or works alone will save.

Yaaqob (James) 2:22 & 26, "Do you see that the faith worked together with his works, and by works the faith makes perfect?" "For just as the body without the spirit is dead, so the faith without works is dead also."

Revelation 12:17, "And the dragon was enraged with the woman, and went to make war with those who forsook her seed; her seed being those who keep the Laws of Yahweh, and have the testimony of Yahshua Messiah."

Revelation 14:12, "In this manner are the saints purified--by keeping the Laws of Yahweh, in conformity with the faith in Yahshua Messiah."

Now you quoted Luke 16:16, IF YOU READ ONE MORE VERSE IT SAYS;

Luke 16:17, "But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one yodh of the Law to fail."

And you quoted Romans 3:21, if you read 10 more verses it says;

Romans 3:31, "Are we then doing away with the Law through the faith? By no means! Rather, we establish the Law!"

Now because of what Shaul said in;

2 Timothy 4:3, "For the time will come when gthey will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts they will heap to themselves teachers, who will tickle their ears; telling them what they want to hear."

I think it is clear alot of people only look at the verses that ar "ear tickling."

However we need to consider ALL the Scriptures, now most people think there is a contradicition between faith and works, there is not. We have verses explaining both and they are not in oppisition;

Ephesians 2:8, "For indeed by undeserved pardon you will be saved through the faith; but this does not come out of you; it is the gift of Yahweh."

Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other Name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved."

Now these verses are not in contradicition with the next 2 I will quote, as I will show a Scriptual example why;

Romans 3:25, "Whom Yahweh set forth as a sacrifice of atonement by His own blood, through the faith, to declare His
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Yahweh."

Hebrews 10:26, "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, there no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, But a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries."

IT's carzy all I have to do is quote the "NT" and you all yell out (it went from) JEW! to SDA! to CULT MEMBER!

But these verses are not in oppisition or contradicition of each other; (example)

Yahchanan (John) 5:14, "Afterward, Yahshua found him in the sacred precincts of The House of Yahweh, and said to him: Behold, you are healed. Sin no more, or a worse thing will come upon you."

As Yahshua clearly tells us we will be judged by our works and one can even lose their place in the kingdom of Yahweh by transgressing against Laws that are outside the 10 Commandments. THIS IS THE WORDS OF THE MESSIAH YOU ALL CLAIM TO FOLLOW;

Revelation 22:12-15, "And behold, I come quickly, and My reward is with Me, to give every man according as his work will be. I am the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End. Blessed are those who keep His Laws, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city. For outside are dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers, and murderers, and worshipers of gods and everyone who professes to love, yet practices breaking the Law."

dogs, and sorcerers, and whoremongers are not against the 10 Commandments, I want you to tell me what Law, (these things that Yahshua says people will be not allowed to enter,) break?
So I believe that Christ came in the flesh and is the only way to Father, through his death unto the new life in Christ where no sin occurs?
Do you believe the same? please explain so we are not on different views that do not connect for growth in our living God

Can I ask you all
a question? Do you celebrate Christmas?
No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Pagan Holiday, turned into Christmas and is not even Christ's Birthday. It is well Commercialized to sell,sell, sell, and sell again under the maze as good. When there is only lone good and that is God

Colossians 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in respect of an holyday, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days

maybe you need to go back and see what "for the remission of sins that are past" means: the sins committed in past generations. it's not talkiing about the sin YOU committed until your saved date - after which time there is no more forgiveness:) - exactly what Christ do you believe in?

and perhaps discover who Hebrews 10 was speaking to specifically at what precise time, and about what the very danger they faced was - returning to a Covenant which was ending, and Temple system that would very soon be dust. whereby they would have no more propitiation for their sin, having rejected the New Covenant, having trampled the Son of God underfoot, putting Him to public shame.
All sins that are past are forgiven by God the Father period. How soon is any sin done past? So how soon is it done forgiven, past tense by God? Does God's blood cover it or not?
You might say we need more forgiveness, yet and but there is no more forgiveness from God after the death of Christ to be executed since:
Hebrews 9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.
Romans 4:7 saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered.
Ephesians 1:7 in whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;
Ephesians 4:32 and be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you.
Colossians 1:14 in whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins:
Colossians 2:13 And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you all trespasses
1 John 2:12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.

So we are now left with to say thank you to God and walk in trust with God or we can take advantage of as so many of us have

And when did this ever come out of my mouth?

No I take ALL Scripture into consideration:

Romans 3:25, "Whom Yahweh set forth as a sacrifice of atonement by His own blood, through the faith, to declare His
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Yahweh."

So when I slip and sin after I have accepted the blood of Yahshua how have to I get mercy?

1 Yahchanan 1:8-9, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make Him a liar, and His Law is not in us.

I have quoted this verse on this site in the past.

If the blood of Yahshua covered FUTURE sin we would not have to ask forgiveness!
This is just what I see, and when future is not here yet, none of us can claim to not ever sin again. But we can live one day at a time in dying to self with Christ daily in the operation of God and seeing daily the new life in the Spirit , just one day at a time. I bet less chance of sinning, and while in God's Spirit no sin is possible, HMMM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wonder are all things possible with God

We are called to not sin by walking as he walked in the Spirit of God that Christ has sent to us to live in us and through us

And the mistranslation of 1 john 1:9 actually if we confess our sins, he is just to have (past tense) forgiven us our sins. I agree with confession, but not for more forgiveness when the forgiven part is over at the death of Christ where by through it we are made:
Colossians 1:22 in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

So we are born again by the resurrection and have new life walking in the Spirit of God
[h=3]Romans 6[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

6 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? [SUP]2 [/SUP]God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? [SUP]3 [/SUP]Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? [SUP]4 [/SUP]Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life. [SUP]5 [/SUP]For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection: [SUP]6 [/SUP]knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. [SUP]7 [/SUP]For he that is dead is freed from sin. [SUP]8 [/SUP]Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him: [SUP]9 [/SUP]knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him. [SUP]10 [/SUP]For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God. [SUP]11 [/SUP]Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

[h=3]1 John 2[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: [SUP]2 [/SUP]and he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world. [SUP]3 [/SUP]And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments. [SUP]4 [/SUP]He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him. [SUP]5 [/SUP]But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him. [SUP]6 [/SUP]He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.

Like love your neighbor? How do you do that? What would you do to love your neighbor? got an example?
The way God Loves:

[h=3]1 Corinthians 13:4-13[/h]New King James Version (NKJV)

[SUP]4 [/SUP]Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; [SUP]5 [/SUP]does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; [SUP]6 [/SUP]does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; [SUP]7 [/SUP]bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
[SUP]8 [/SUP]Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. [SUP]9 [/SUP]For we know in part and we prophesy in part. [SUP]10 [/SUP]But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.
[SUP]11 [/SUP]When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. [SUP]12 [/SUP]For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.
[SUP]13 [/SUP]And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

The only true way and is done by the Spirit of God that we are born again with through the resurrection at the cross which is for us if we will die to the self with Christ first at the cross. Be in agreement with God to take over this filth flesh that I was originally born with and be renewed
Ephesians 4:23
and be renewed in the spirit of your mind,
Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God.

Do all in God's love being led by the Holy Ghost of God the same as what led Christ.

First I didn't claim anything, I post some reputible Bible Dictionaries the show BAAL means LORD.

As far as Jesus, all I can stay from my studies is it is not his actual Name, I have read thigs saying Iosus means hail Zeus in greek, however I have heard reputible people say it souds similar but it has no connection. I have no concrete answer for MYSELF on that topic, all I can say is it is not His actual Name. The letter "J" is not even 1000 years old.

Tell me has this prophecy come true?

Yaermyah 23:26-27, "How long will this be in the heart of the prophets who prophesy lies? Yes, they are prophets of the deceit of their own minds; Who devise; plan and scheme, to cause My people to forget My Name through their dreams, which they tell every man to his neighbor, just as their fathers have forgotten My Name for Baal (Lord)."

How about ALL that other stuff we talked about?
For me, all I care to know is the creator of all, and that as far as I know is through the Messiah that came here to earth, in the flesh, born of the Virgin Mary, to be the propitiation for not only my sins but the whole world. And since Father (the creator) is Faithful, Father reveals himself to all those without malice to deceive in their hearts and gives us the heart transplant that keeps us hidden in him, walking as he walked trusting in Father as Christ did.

We have two kinds of posters. Some like to talk about the God they love, they listen to everything this God has to say, and like to reason with others about it. Sometimes they differ with others about what God wants from them.

There are others who use this forum to work against God. It is like reading C S Lewis Screwtape Letters to read their posts. They use the words of our dear Lord to work against God. God says to work, they say God says work is all legalism so ignore anything else about work. God says He has protected us from death by the law so it will not kill us. They say the law has nothing to do with us we should ignore it, God says we aren't under it so ignore law. God says we should follow the Holy Spirit to the law. They say that we should only follow the Holy Spirit, any other way to knowing law is wrong, ignore God. We say we think something another says isn't quite right, they say they command all to only know what they know of God, anything else is others going to hell.
Hebrews 4:1 [ The Promise of Rest ] Therefore, since a promise remains of entering His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it.
Hebrews 4:3 For we who have believed do enter that rest, as He has said: “So I swore in My wrath, ‘They shall not enter My rest,’” although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.
Hebrews 4:10 For he who has entered His rest has himself also ceased from his works as God did from His.
Hebrews 4:11 [ The Word Discovers Our Condition ] Let us therefore be diligent to enter that rest, lest anyone fall according to the same example of disobedience.

Unbelief is disobedience, and belief is obedience, pretty simple, so simple it is hard since we all have flesh and blood that just wants to have something to do with God's salvation provided through Christ

He doesn't care how we pronounce His name.

Love God
Love others
Try to stop sinning

That's His name.
How about ask for God to live through you in Spirit as God did through Christ in the Holy Ghost, and Christ did and said as told. Hmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! this for us too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wonder, born again life in God there is no sin. So if God live through you, then there is no sin, since we gave up trying in and of self, rather decided to die to self with Christ at the death of Christ so that God can take over and live God's life through us. HMMM!!!!!!!!!!! how many are going to see truth Lord?

I think you missed the point. Moses wrote Genesis so he most likely changed and imputed the name YHWH so the reader can understand who he was talking about. If you read Exodus 6:3 (NASB) again it says...

"and I appeared to Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, as God Almighty, but by My name, Lord (Yahweh) , I did not make Myself known to them."

El Shaddai is God Almighty. So before you judge the Genesis 12:8, you got to remember it was first said out as El Shaddai, Moses wrote it as Yahweh. Abraham didn't know the name Yahweh, only through Moses did the people know.
No matter which way you all slice, dice and or cube this in names as being or not. The Father of Christ is the creator of all here and now in front of us. This is whom I worship the Father of the Messiah Christ, in thanking Christ for the way, the truth and the new life provided to me and all who belief by Father (creator of all)

I agree 100%

But how do we love? Is there something explainging it?

1 Yahchanan 5:2-3, "By this we know that we love the children of Yahweh: When we love Yahweh by keeping His Laws. For this is the llove of Yahweh: That we keep His Law, and His Law is not grievous."

But some will not submit to Yahweh:

Romans 10:2-4, "For I can testify about them that they are zealous for Yahweh, but their zeal is not according to knowledge. Since they, being ignorant of the righteousness that comes from Yahweh, and seeking to establish their own
righteousness, have not submitted to Yahweh's drighteousness. For Yahshua is the fultimate result of keeping the Law unto righteousness for everyone who believes."

But those who wont submit to Yahweh, but do works according to what they choose will be told by Yahshua to get away!

Mattithyah 7:21-23, "Not everyone who says to Me; Teacher! Teacher! will enter into the Kingdom of Yahweh, but only he who does the will of My Father Who is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day; Teacher! Teacher! Have we not
prophesied in nYour Name, and cast out demons in Your Name, and in Your Name performed many wonderful works?
But then I will declare to them; I never knew you. Get away from Me, you who practice iniquity."

Iniquity = Word #458 from word #459, Greek Dictionary, Strong's Exhaustive Concordance,
meaning not subject to Laws, transgressor.
1 John 4:19 We love Him because He first loved us.

No other to love as God loves, is to first see the depth and breadth of God's love to you personally from God first, before one can actually Love truthfully

[h=3]Ephesians 3:17-19[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]17 [/SUP]that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love, [SUP]18 [/SUP]may be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height; [SUP]19 [/SUP]and to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

Works are produced through Faith, not the other way around

I agree with the main thought here, I dont believe 1 saved always:

Romans 3:25, "Whom Yahweh set forth as a sacrifice of atonement by His own blood, through the faith, to declare His
righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of Yahweh."

However, certianly, one knows he is walking with the Messiah when sin dosen't rule over him. That dosen't mean I still do all the old sins I did but just say there not sin, it means I have no desire to even do those sins any longer. In myself I can say the power of Yahweh has changed me, and continues to change me. Instead of desiring sin, I now enjoy things that are righteous, which before didn't really matter to me. Years ago I though I was in the Messiah but I was still living the same worldly life and never even thought it was a problem, now that I see the change I know I was fooling myself before. This is the reason why I quote alot of the verses I quote, because there are probaly SOME people that are living like I used to and still at enmity to Yahweh's instructions.

Respectfully, if you "try to stop sinning" you miss the point.

As Paul said, "I don't know of any sins behind me, but I look to the goal of the race". Poor paraphrase but I'm too lazy to go look it up.

You are either forgiven or you aren't. If you are forgiven, you are to work at being changed, and that being changed comes through works of faith through love. In fact the word Agapao requires the work or it's just a warm fuzzy lie. Scripture says you are made mature through works. NOTHING HERE SAYS YOU ARE SAVED BY WORKS, but after Grace, you no longer have to sweat the sin, you work at the love and HE CHANGES YOU, not you change yourself for Him.

HE will change your heart from a rock to flesh, and HE will change your mind. The Spirit of God keeps you from giving into temptation, not yourself. gal 5;16.

if you are working at not sinning, you are working against HIM in his efforts to "grow you" to maturity. You should instead be working at doing what is right in Love.. To do that the Church today would have to teach what Love really is when it says GOD IS LOVE.

Because, I gotta tell you, the Church based out of ROME, gets it 100% more right than all of protestantism.

So the question is, do you want to fix yourself for God. I.E. the blind man painting a pretty picture.... or let the sculpture make you anew.
Believe God, see God and receive God, through the death and resurrection is this done Phil 3
[h=3]Philippians 3:9-11[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]9 [/SUP]and be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith: [SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;
[SUP]11 [/SUP]if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead

Philippians 3:3
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.
[h=3]2 Corinthians 10:1-3[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

10 Now I Paul myself beseech you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you: [SUP]2 [/SUP]but I beseech you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh. [SUP]3 [/SUP]For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh

And since Father (the creator) is Faithful, Father reveals himself to all those without malice to deceive in their hearts and gives us the heart transplant that keeps us hidden in him, walking as he walked trusting in Father as Christ did.
And knowing Him is most important, I choose to use His Name because He commands us to many times in the Scriptures and taking it out was a Pharise law and against the 10 commandments, vanity is "nothingness, worthlessness". And since the is another Law that says dont blaspheme the Name of Yahweh, if you translate the word vanity to is most true definition you end up with "You shall not take the Name of Yahweh your Heavenly Father to bring it to nothing," Also Yahweh is clearly angered by it in His word.

Yeremyah 12:14-16, "This is what Yahweh says against all My evil neighbors who touch the inheritance which I have caused My people Israyl to inherit: Behold, I will pluck them up from off their land, and I will pluck up the house of Yahdah from
among them. And it will come to pass, after I have plucked them out, that I will return and have compassion on them, and bring them back; everyone to his aheritage and everyone to his land. And it will come to pass, if they will diligently learn the ways of My people, to vow by My Name, saying; As surely as Yahweh lives--as they once taught My people to vow by Baal; Lord--then they will be established in the midst of My people. But if they do not obey, I will utterly pluck up and destroy that nation, says Yahweh."

Im not perfect but I try to do as He wants.

Works are produced through Faith, not the other way around
I never said otherway around If someone loves you and you love them, you would listen to what they say right?

Sabbath-keeping requires animal sacrifice. Why would gentile Christians want to get involved in that?

Nu 28:9 ¶ And on the sabbath day two lambs of the first year without spot, and two tenth deals of flour [for] a meat offering, mingled with oil, and the drink offering thereof: 10 [This is] the burnt offering of every sabbath, beside the continual burnt offering, and his drink offering.
and do not forget to shed blood for our sins and have a high priest in the order of Aaron to carry then for us, once a year.
not in the order of Melchizadek.
Wait a minute we are under a new covenant aren't we.
[h=3]Hebrews 7:11-12[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]11 [/SUP]If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?
[SUP]12 [/SUP]For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

Hebrews 12:24
and to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.

Yeah if someone follows every precept, but does not do it in submission to Yahweh it would be as it they never did it.
MOTIVE, is what we all will either be condemned by or released by God's Mercy, for as he has had Mercy unto us all, so shall we give Mercy too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Such a fine line, either we are of flesh or the Spirit of God. I think no in between, maybe as we grow into maturity, yet I think we will refrain from not loving our neighbor as we see how deep God does actually love each and every one of us
1 John 4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.

That verse seems to me to be a thankful response to our creator?

Yes the blood of Abel cried out, the blood of Yahshua shouts mercy. And now we have the High Priest in which is perfect and the position was meant for in the first place.

DEFINITELY NO INBETWEEN!

1 Corinthians 10:21, "You cannot drink the cup of Yahweh and the cup of demons; you cannot
partake of Yahweh's table and of the table of demons."

Certainly is thankful, why not right, if oue family did something nice we would be thankful, how much "nicer" is this gift?

This is why I feel the need to turn to obedience, not even because I outwardly think it, something inside is telling me to humble myslef and take instruction from Yahweh.
