I'm not sure I see the connection you see here..?

Not that I don't believe there is one, I just need help understanding what you mean. I have an inkling..
Jesus replied to him, "Truly, I tell you with certainty, unless a person is born from above he cannot see the kingdom of God." (Joh 3:3 ISV)

In order to see the kingdom of God we need to be born again. The law is brushed aside, it is of no effect, salvation is through Jesus Christ, and Him only. "I am the way the truth and the life" said Jesus.

Immediately after telling Nicodemus about the new birth, He says 'we' testify about what 'we' know and have seen. That's before the Spirit had been given.

The mystery in 1 Corinthians 2, if it is God manifest in the flesh, was also known before Pentecost / First-fruits
interesting argument. thx.

That`s an interesting assertion. My thought has always been that the we refers to Jesus and God the Father dwelling inside of Jesus. Could be a reference to deciples. But if thats all you got, not much evidence.

Here`s the problem, no one was born again until after pentecost. I`m not aware of any evidence anyone understood new birth except Jesus before then.
Anyone who accepts Jesus as their Lord and Saviour believing in Him are born again. There were thousands who saw His miracles and believed in Jesus while he was still alive.

The Law never provided salvation so your verse does not brush it aside nor should you want it too.

Your faith and the Law are two different things, a distinction is always made so the Bible doesn`t say it does.

Maybe you are thinking of some man made doctrine I`m not real familiar with.
So you can not answer the question

If you cant why did you use that verse to begin with. It is obvious you do not know what the verse says

Its not a manmade doctrine, it is a fact, my faith in christ established the law, its why the law was given to begin with, to bring me to faith, so when i come to faith, i establish the purpose of the law

Regarding salvation the law is of no effect. It is useless. It is a dead donkey. The law only condemns.

Devils believe and tremble. Believing is just a precurser, the new birth comes by the Holy Spirit. Didn`t happen before Pentecost.

The original followers of Jesus were Jewish Law keepers who would have known as much about new birth as Nicodemous did.

Belief as in true faith, not mental knowledge..

Huge difference

True faith acts, thats why true faith saves

The jailer asked for a torch and went into the jail. He was shaking all over as he knelt down in front of Paul and Silas. After he had led them out of the jail, he asked, "What must I do to be saved?" They replied, "Have faith in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved! This is also true for everyone who lives in your home."

Jesus said:

John 5:24
"Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears My word, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life.

John 6:40
"For this is the will of My Father, that everyone who beholds the Son and believes in Him will have eternal life, and I Myself will raise him up on the last day."

John 11:25
Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies,

John 12:46

"I have come as Light into the world, so that everyone who believes in Me will not remain in darkness.

Quote scripture instead of church signs
So word meanings are useless?

Study the book of john. It talks about how belief in Christ saves.

Read james he tell how living faith, not dead faith or mere belief, saves.

“Your faith has saved you.” We see this spoken by Jesus several times in the Gospels. How is this different from being born again?

Will the Jews please identify yourselves and the Gentiles to stop pretending and boasting over the true branches. (Ref: Romans 11:13-24)

I will make those who are of the synagogue of Satan, who claim to be Jews though they are not, but are LIARS—I will make them come and fall down at your feet and acknowledge that I have loved you. Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come upon the whole world to test those who live on the earth. Revelation 3:9-10

It is clear that the recipient of the law of Moses are the Israelites who are under that law. (Romans 9:4-5, Malachi 4:4)

Why do Gentile Christians condemn his brother who obeys the law of God by doing the good things of the law and teaching others to obey God as it was instructed by Jesus? (although he is not under that law)? Are those who judge them exempted from judgment on the great day?

You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things. Now we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth. So when you, a mere man, pass judgment on them and yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment? Or do you show contempt for the riches of his kindness, tolerance and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you toward repentance? But because of your stubbornness and your unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of God’s wrath, when his righteous judgment will be revealed. God “will give to each person according to what he has done.” To those who by persistence in doing good seek glory, honor and immortality, he will give eternal life. But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow evil, there will be wrath and anger. There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile; but glory, honor and peace for everyone who does good: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. For God does not show favoritism. All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law. For it is not those who hear the law who are righteous in God’s sight, but it is those who obey the law who will be declared righteous. (Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature things required by the law, they are a law for themselves, even though they do not have the law, since they show that the requirements of the law are written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts now accusing, now even defending them.) This will take place on the day when God will judge men’s secrets through Jesus Christ, as my gospel declares. Romans 2:1-16

Faith provides a promise of salvation. You don`t recieve it until get the Holy Spirit. The people who lived before the cross had a faith based promise of future redemption.

Ephesions 1

4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

8 Wherein he hath abounded toward us in all wisdom and prudence;

9 Having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he hath purposed in himself:

10 That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him:

11 In whom also we have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of him who worketh all things after the counsel of his own will:

12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.

13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.

It was still faith, and it was then and is still today the means of salvation
