You accused me of not quoting from the Word of God.

I have asked to show a verse I didn't quote from the Word of God.

Please don't play stupid.
The stupidity isn't in my court.

I have answered the question you asked of me; now it's time to answer the question I asked of you. No more games.

Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (Mt 28:19)
1. Catholics admit that this part was inserted circa 130-140 AD. As the matter of fact, Peter says to be baptized in the name of Jesus. All clear baptisms on record are in the name of Jesus Christr.

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.
(1 John 5:7, KJV)
Let me point you to the scholars:
"The disputed part is found in no uncial Greek manuscripts and in only four rather recent cursives - one of the fifteenth and three of the sixteenth century. No Greek epistolary manuscript contains the passage".

Well, we know about the third wave of reformation taking pace and Catholics had to "produce" proof of their nonbiblical theology.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh
[a human body], justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. (1 Tim 3:16)
You are aware about Ac 2:22, aren't you Nehemiah6 ?

So God did His work through/by Jesus. God manifested His love, power and authority through/by Jesus.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God...
Please show an OT verse stating that Jesus is the Word. How many times I have to repeat that John had referred to the prophets like Isa 55:11, Ps 33:6+9 and specifically to 2Sam 7:12?

I don't think anyone said that Christ the anointing Holy Spirit of God was not the word and power of God that worked in the Son of man, Jesus, the apostle/ prophet. Jesus did not do His own will. Of his own flesh he declared; "it profits for nothing.." He prayed his father's will be done on earth not the will of his own corrupted flesh and blood.
Are you just trying to muddy the waters, or are you simply confused?

So let's keep it simple:

QUESTION: IS JESUS OF NAZARETH TRULY AND FULLY GOD?

ANSWER FROM BIBLE-BELIEVING CHRISTIANS: ABSOLUTELY

ANSWER FROM CULTISTS AND FALSE RELIGIONISTS:
ABSOLUTELY NOT

So where do you stand? There is no middle ground.

I assume the Spirit of God is Holy?
You are totally avoiding my question: Who or what is the Holy Spirit to you?

God is the glue that holds it all together and I believe God manifests through the Holy Spirit and spoke to us through Jesus Christ.
Many people hold many beliefs but the Word of God is Holy.

Please quote clear verses in support of your claims instead of assumptions.

But bear in mind that you will have to explain why God stated contrary in hundreds of undisputed and clear verses.

You are not really interested in what the Bible states (based on your response to to my very clear post). So why ask for more verses?

If you did you'd believe what it says instead of twisting it to your cultist beliefs.
I don't believe people in the matter of salvation.

I believe God because only He can fulfill what He promised. And God said through Jesus that the eternal life is for those who know the Father the only true God.

BuffyLou is now "user profile not available"

I have a feeling this is the same person who has returned with a new moniker?
I have heard (in public forums here) that BL was a professing satanist, someone wrote that in her thread. I did not have time or energy to check this, and brother had no reason to lie. Anyway, if this is true, I've seen satanists do it before, pose as many different persons to troll Christians. Of course they love to pose as Christians and infiltrate. I had a very bad experience myself being stalked on YouTube about a decade ago. Many channels that posed as Christians were actually one satanist and her husband and they admitted to it on FB; this was back when YouTube had friends lists. I was a babe in Christ and much more naive. I don't know what's up with all these newcomers piling up out of nowhere just to deny that Christ is God, but it's definitely a possibility. Be careful everyone.

No need. You either believe the Bible and what God says (in plain English) or you disbelieve and join the cultists. There is no middle ground.
But the history of the Church makes clear why there is few contradictions in the Word of God.

Someone was "cooking" the books.

She stated she was joking about being a Satanist....but who knows... Trolls come in all different types and varieties it seems.

That is very scary indeed. One definitely has to be careful on the internet.

No, you don't believe God about salvation, if you did you believe what He said. Clearly you don't. I'm not talking about your salvation, I'm pointing you to the truth of the Word. Either you believe what Christ said about Himself or you don't. If you don't you need to take it up with Him.

Your very clear verses?

So could you, please explain why your "clear" verses contradict hundreds of never disputed clear verses?

Shouldn't we begin from such verses instead of trying to support man-made theologies (clearly documented even by those whose earlier authorities omitted the crimes) by manipulated/added/ explained verses?

1 John 1 -

1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our own eyes, which we have gazed upon and touched with our own hands [G5584--same word as in Luke 24:39 "handle Me and see"]—this is the Word of life. 2 And this is the life that was revealed; we have seen it and testified to it, and we proclaim to you the eternal life that was with the Father and was revealed to us.

Jesus (as well as the NT writers) also said that the Father is the only true God like in Jn 17:3, 20:17, 1Cor 8:6 and hundreds more.

Did they lie?

No,neither Jesus nor the NT writers lied.

Were those statements revoked?

No, they weren't.

So we know from Jn 12:47-50 what rejecting Jesus' word really means, don't we?

You keep asking questions, but you have not answered mine yet.

It is inappropriate to avoid answering mine and expect anyone to answer yours.

Jesus does not have a god. He is God.

No amount of twisting the scriptures will ever convince me otherwise.

You and Mattathias can post all you want, but I doubt you are going to find any converts here. You may as well pack your bags.
