Please post with a Christ like attitude. Thank you
I did, I smiled as I wrote. Look, she has broadsided me several times with spit but no substance...typical cultists.
They'll defend the errors of their master by attacking instead of presenting a scriptural response.

With exception to being Christ-like in what is most important, truth.
As Christians we are all trying to be Christ like even though we fail miserably. A Christian forum should be a place Christians can get together and enjoy the company of each other and give God praise for what He is doing in our lives. I would run fast and furious if I was a non believe looking for answers and seeing these threads.

Those who pull the Christ-like card have carte blanche to say anything and call others anything they want. But if you do it, one who disagrees with them, you're not being Christ-like. Such stark hypocrisy, all sorts of venom coming out of people who accuse others of not being Christ-like. In other words, if it's you who call somebody a twit, you're not Christ-like. It's actually just a form of attacking the messenger, when they can't answer with truth, happens all the time when deceivers are called out.

I'm sorry if you feel that way. I call it how I see it.

He is teaching us to meditate on the word. He often speaks, as other good bible teachers do, about how Abraham was encouraged by God Himself to use his imagination concerning the stars of the sky as his future descendants, to encourage his faith.

A holy imagination is a good thing. Don't go running off half-cocked about it.
Holy imagination is used to bring about peace? Please show me that in the bible.
And please, if you're going to attempt to counter my proof then i'd like to see you acknowledge All of my post, not just the parts that you feel are easy to refute. How do you account for the obvious new age connection in his teaching and even some of his wording?
Key points in what he says
-'unlock the power of your imagination' - Please show me contextual scriptural evidence for this concept. I am already quite familiar with the new age aspect of this sort of teaching, though.

-That we have to 'meditate' to 'active the power of Gods word' - Again, show me contextual scriptural evidence for this. And again, i'm familiar with the new age school of this thought.

-'You have to see it on the inside before you can see it on the outside' - I, once more, would like to see contextual scriptural evidence for this. And, as before, i am aware of this method among new age teachings. Though, there, it is referred to as 'visualization'.

I also would like you to point me to the chapter where God tells Abraham to use his imagination.

So that is 4 requests for scripture. If you are not able to provide them then all of your defense of these new age teachings given under the guise of Christianity are invalid as you will have proven yourself to defend something that you have no foundation with which to defend it. Though, given what i've seen of your responses on this site, i expect a snide response and a refusal to provide what is required to maintain any sense of credibility for yourself.

Also on the Wommack table is his connection to Oral Roberts. And since you are quick to defend WoF cult teachers, we can also connect Oral Roberts to Rodney Howard-Browne, who was largely responsible for the blasphemous 'holy laughter' revivals.

wow. I only listened to it for a two minutes, and got this.
Man made satan who he is! WHAT??
What he was saying was butchered. Even a moron can see that. Giving anyone your power and your authority is in effect making him what he becomes with it.

Satan did crucify Jesus, But He did not kill Jesus or take him to hell. Jesus allowed himself to die physically, He gave up his Ghost, Satan did not take it.
Correct, Satan thinks he killed Jesus, because he manipulated the masses and the rulers to create a mockery of justice and got him there, but Jesus went willingly to the cross for love's sake.

A pig, and even fungus has more authority than satan..
WHAT?? Did Not Jesus call satan the ruler of this world? the father of the cosmos system, Does this guy even read scripture?
Wommack was making the point that evil spirits manifest their power when they appropriate a body in order to wield influence.

God spoke him into existence?
He was not around before he came to earth? no need to even go further, He denys who Jesus was.
Jesus has always been with the Father. He was not the flesh and blood man until He was produced in the womb of Mary by the Holy Spirit's work. The entire gospel message concerning the Son of God is a solid thing that is spoken into existence since before the beginning of time.

all you people trying to stick up for this man. I gave ya the benefit of the doubt by not reading what Crossnote posted to get my own opinion by listening to the man, But now that I have heard his literal words. You people better run and hide, and find another man who professes the truth of Gods word. I could not even listen to anything else.. Unless someone can show me where he was taken out of context in these clips (although I do not know how you can do that) this is nuts!
All you armchair critics have it in your blood to mow down anyone who dares to be used of God in any real way, and who has more spiritual fruit in their lives than you can shake a stick at.

If a lousy YouTube video can cause you to turn against the brethren so easily, then I should think that you have a problem with pride, thinking you know it all. You have an addiction to disdain, not cocaine. Your It's the sign of the end times as well. You all remind me of:

2 Timothy 4:1-9
And know this: in the last days, times will be hard. [SUP]2 [/SUP]You see, the world will be filled with narcissistic, money-grubbing, pretentious, arrogant, and abusive people. They will rebel against their parents and will be ungrateful, unholy, [SUP]3 [/SUP]uncaring, coldhearted, accusing, without restraint, savage, and haters of anything good. [SUP]4 [/SUP]Expect them to be treacherous, reckless, swollen with self-importance, and given to loving pleasure more than they love God. [SUP]5 [/SUP]Even though they may look or act like godly people, they’re not. They deny His power. I tell you: Stay away from the likes of these. [SUP]6 [/SUP]They’re snakes slithering into the houses of vulnerable women, women gaudy with sin, to seduce them. These reptiles can capture them because these women are weak and easily swayed by their desires. [SUP]7 [/SUP]They seem always to be learning, but they never seem to gain the full measure of the truth. [SUP]8 [/SUP]And, just as Jannes and Jambres rose up against Moses,[SUP][a][/SUP] these ungodly people defy the truth. Their minds are corrupt, and their faith is absolutely worthless. [SUP]9 [/SUP]But they won’t get too far because their stupidity will be noticed by everyone, just as it was with Jannes and Jambres.

Apparently Jesus disagrees with you where He was going, duh,

Luke 23:43 And He said to him, "Truly I say to you, today you shall be with Me in Paradise."

Luke 23:43 And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise.
Duh, the place where He went was Hades, but the compartment of Hades where the righteous awaited their Messiah---also referred to in scripture as Abraham's Bosom. The bible still calls Hades hell. It is not the place of judgment, as that particular place is not open for business, yet.

Ephesians 4:9
[But He ascended?] Now what can this, He ascended, mean but that He had previously descended from [the heights of] heaven into [the depths], the lower parts of the earth?

And if we disagree that is ok also. I believe we can all agree Jesus died for our sins and rose again and is the son of God right? Different denominations will disagree on a number of theological things. Doesn't mean we can't still love each other in Christ and not attack each other.

Seems the posts I have read about WoF ministers got pretty ugly with attacks from Christian brothers and sisters. Not much love coming from a majority of posters here.

If we can't post out of love and just post out of pride then there is no sense in saying anything. I love everyone here and wish everyone can think about his before they put their fingers to the keyboard. Ask yourself, am I responding because it will glorify Christ or am I just responding because I want to be right and I am the only one who will make it right.

God doesn't need defending, He has been here way longer than us and can defend Himself just fine.
When people loudly and brashly criticize certain groups and use mockery as a weapon to tear them down, that is not love, but pride...and I should think mixed with a little fear as well.

I just took him word for word. Again, if I took him out of context. show me in context with his own words what he was saying/
When you use YouTube as your authority, you cannot then insist on context. You've already been poisoned by the calculations of a person who has crafted a false message with a purpose to discredit another.

Yeah, don't believe your lying eyes and ears, folks. Oh! Did I point out?

“When you resort to attacking the messenger and not the message, you have lost the debate.”
So you concede the loss? Good on you.

And once again you are calling names.
and again, you refuse to chasten your own people but judge others. this is hypicrocy. If your going to judge one, you better start judging the others, or your judgment is invalid.

It Gives God a bad name when we yell at people who do not agree with us for something, yet when our own people do the same thing (or worse) we do not say a word to them.

Then bring out the full sermon.
As I see it, no context will redeem his blasphemous statements such as...

At one minute 30 sec into the clip..
"God spoke Jesus into existence through a dozen possibly hundreds of people over a 4000 year period".

And while your at it answer Ugly please, he has asked twice.

Your arrogance is not lady like. A moron can listen to his words, and get what he said, it does not take a doctorates degree to see he said what he said.

And as I said, some of the stuff he said could not be taken out of context. but if it was. show us,

Correct, Satan thinks he killed Jesus, because he manipulated the masses and the rulers to create a mockery of justice and got him there, but Jesus went willingly to the cross for love's sake.

He did not say that, He said Satan killed him and took him to hell" next.

Wommack was making the point that evil spirits manifest their power when they appropriate a body in order to wield influence.

sorry, but no one in their right mind would get what you just said in the words mr womack said. so can you please give us the whole context to show us how he meant to say that?

Jesus has always been with the Father. He was not the flesh and blood man until He was produced in the womb of Mary by the Holy Spirit's work. The entire gospel message concerning the Son of God is a solid thing that is spoken into existence since before the beginning of time.
Again, this is not what he said. Do you have the whole tape to get context. or are you just assuming you know what he said.?

Again, prove your assirtions with his words. not your assumptions. I even said unless you could prove he was taken out of context. I see no proof here, i see someone trying to defend and claiming she knows what he said, even though nothing he said even sounds like what yuo said he meant.

uh...that's really kind of mean Nancy...where do Christians get off calling others a twit?
If the shoe fits...

Actually, I have researched Wommack myself and he IS 'out there'...I speak in tongues and all the other goosebumpy stuff, but I don't turn off my discernment because someone seems like a nice guy
If only you'd have researched the word of God.

I don't want to argue with you...or trade insults...but I am alarmed when I read a post like yours in response to crossnote, because it is irrational, accusatory and just plain not nice
Jesus wasn't nice. He despised puffed up pride among religious folk.

I worship no man, but many do simply because they get off on emotions and like a certain style...I'm not saying that is you, but those who are spirit filled are no better than those who are not and just maybe, probably and quite likely, actually have more to answer for than those who are not. God has not shown us any more favor than those who deny the gifts...which often happens because of the misuse and attitudes displayed as though holier meant tongues or feelings
Your judgment is duly noted.

I'm pretty sure we are both saved though
I am, and I pray that you are.

Drawing such hard lines in the sand does not help anyone
Correct, so why all the disdain and malice at this site against sisters and brothers in Christ? We are to be accepting of those who have yet to plug in to many truths that come with spiritual growth. If you (in general) can't agree on the simple truths of the word, how are any of you to be able to accept the meat?

Either Wommack is spot on...or he's not...I don't think he is for more than one reason
I have heard only one thing in a few years that he has said that I disagree with, but that doesn't make him a false teacher or a heretic. It makes him a man who loves God and may be wrong in a certain area. I take in the spiritual food that is in accordance with God's word, and I spit out any bones. That should be everyone's attitude.
