“Eateth not the saltine nor the Ritz. From thine table forbid the rich buttery goodness of Townhouse.”
That’s the closest I could get.
2 Hesitations chapter 6?

I think it is probable that John may have been saved in the womb.I think that both Elizabeth and her unborn baby, John, were filled with the Holy Spirit. Just my thoughts.
I Agree, but then Jesus being Baptized by John would be more for example and following the Law.I think it is probable that John may have been saved in the womb.
see, how you chosen to use the Amplified, rather than the Original Greek:The verse says what says. It's not the only verse that relates to drinking alcohol. For example, Samson's mother was told not to drink alcohol during pregnancy. That implies that there was the possibility that she would. It also implies that there was otherwise nothing inherently wrong with alcohol.
Qualifications for eldership:
"not addicted to wine, not a bully nor quick-tempered and hot-headed, but gentle and considerate, free from the love of money [not greedy for wealth and its inherent power—financially ethical]. 1 Timothy 3:3, Amplified, also 1:7
It does not say that an elder must be teetotal. Doctrines I abide by? Jesus is the life of those who are born again. It's no longer I that lives but Christ who lives in me. I refuse to let anyone judge me by what I eat or drink or sabbath rules that no longer apply to me. The only way to overcome the flesh is to walk in the Spirit.
I do not live by doctrine. I live because Jesus rose from the dead. His cross is my cross. When Jesus died, so did I. When Jesus rose again, so did I. My weapon of choice is the Living Word of God, the Sword of the Spirit. The letter kills, the Spirit gives life. The Law is th shadow of realities that have now come. Some love the shadows. Me, I prefer to live in the light.
You would have to ask modes why the OP was banned. I have my understanding as to why, but its not my place to say so.

i like how in the Original Greek, Verse 19 ends with:Matt 11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.
Luke 7:34 The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners!
You're applying a particular nuance of "fond". "Not fond of" in this context does not mean "doesn't like" or even "doesn't much like" but rather, "doesn't like a lot of". The word is most commonly translated "addicted".see, how you chosen to use the Amplified, rather than the Original Greek:

7 For the bishop must be blameless as the steward of God, not self-willed, not soon angry, not fond of wine, no striker, not eager after base gain,
the real question is, what does [[not fond of wine]] mean?
it means they don't like Wine, so, they Don't DRINK wine.
you don't drink something you are not fond of.
If you're referring to the X's on post 304, it is not the Scripture with which people are disagreeing, but your interpretation thereof. Don't confuse the two.why do People Red X a Verse from the Holy Word of God?
especially, a Verse, that comes from the oldest known Greek Text in existence?
yep, the next post i said, interesting how from 1600's it now is in the Bible. You're applying a particular nuance of "fond". "Not fond of" in this context does not mean "doesn't like" or even "doesn't much like" but rather, "doesn't like a lot of". The word is most commonly translated "addicted".
"Fond" usually means "like a lot". "Not fond", these days, is more commonly used euphemistically, as in, "I'm not fond of Brussels sprouts".
I couldn't find your particular wording on Bible Gateway, which leads me to question its validity at the outset. This shows why it's worthwhile to read several translations before attempting to interpret a key word.
I'm sure you're aware there are very few English versions from prior to the 1600's.yep, the next post i said, interesting how from 1600's it now is in the Bible.
and the list of Bibles i see in Bible Reference and Bible Hub are all 1600's and Newer Versions.
There is always a party pooper. You cannot prove from scripture that He did, so all you have is speculation and wishful thinking.
