God alone is immortal. You do not believe that the "soul/spirit" is immortal?
Our God is a Consuming Fire

That's right. The question was could Jesus have failed? Could Jesus have sinned?Jesus submitted His will to the Father in all things, and so did not fail.
Nope. Impossible IMO. Can God sin? That's right. The question was could Jesus have failed? Could Jesus have sinned?
The question of whether Jesus had a will that was "other" than the Father's came up a short time ago; That's right. The question was could Jesus have failed? Could Jesus have sinned?
Wow. Little wonder we do not see eye to eye. Thanks for the heads up.I'm a Unitarian
Not so much as a creaking board, out of plumb rail or loose nail as far as the Lord Jesus was concerned......Say you build a porch. Then you walk on it to 'test' whether it is built well.
Yes I am aware (finally!) of your view on the matter. I think you said you were some kind of annihilationist.God alone is immortal.

Annihilation is not the term the Bible uses. Many times we are told the wicked will be destroyed. They perish.Yes I am aware (finally!) of your view on the matter. I think you said you were some kind of annihilationist.
Of course I do not agree. But hopefully further Biblical light will clear the fog.
The reason they were there was to represent the water and the blood.
Elijah, the water, and Moses, the blood. They were standing along with Jesus as The Two Witnesses.Which are the covenants.
So on Mount Tabor you have the Spirit(Jesus) water(Elijah) and blood. (Moses)
The first shall be last, and the last first.
Moses(blood) was before Elijah.(water) Get it?
Matthew 17:5
While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear ye him.
Revelation 19:10
And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he said unto me, See thou do it not: I am thy fellowservant, and of thy brethren that have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.
Some people say "so and so are the Two Witnesses because they represent the Law and the Prophets"
At the end of that road it all leads to his covenants. His Two Witnesses. They were there at the transfiguration of Jesus. And will be there at the transfiguration of the 144,000.Who will give the testimony of The Two Witnesses. And those who hear, and believe will be transfigured.
We are gonna have to agree to disagree on that one sis.....Annihilation is not the term the Bible uses. Many times we are told the wicked will be destroyed. They perish.
This is most often contrasted with life ever after being given only to those who by grace through faith believe
in the shed righteous blood of Jesus Christ, repeatedly given in a plethora of ways from the beginning of
Scriptures to the end, present even in the best known and possibly most well loved Scripture of all, John 3:16.

The Apostle Paul concurs with your assessment.....Jesus rather famously taught on the mount that desire to sin is equivalent to carrying out that sin.
Paul reiterates it as a second witness - learn the word 'covet' it's spelled c o v e t
Then how could Jesus Christ have been tempted?Nope. Impossible IMO.
Nope. Nor can God be tempted. Jesus was tempted. Can God sin?
We agree on quite a bit, though. I'm pre-mill, pre-trib, literalist, futurist dispensationalist.Wow. Little wonder we do not see eye to eye. Thanks for the heads up.
I already tipped you off with the Greek terms, and their legit meanings. I would urge you to proceed with that study. Then how could Jesus Christ have been tempted?
Nope. Nor can God be tempted. Jesus was tempted.
If you think the prince is referring to some made up supernatural being, you are way off mark
I'm familiar with the Greek terms.I already tipped you off with the Greek terms, and their legit meanings. I would urge you to proceed with that study.
When he returns he can speak for himself, but no, he doesn't.Hold up.
"made up supernatural being"?
You don't believe Satan exists?
Disagree. Jesus was "assayed" and yet without sin. Utterly imperturbable.I'm familiar with the Greek terms.
The fact remains: God cannot be tempted, Jesus Christ was tempted on all points like as we are.
This is a hold up boys. Give me all your false doctrines and no one gets hurt.Hold up.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:Disagree.
That's because he set aside his own will and did what God wanted him to do.Jesus was "assayed" and yet without sin. Utterly imperturbable.
Not sure why you posted them, but great scripture.
