Dear Friends,
I have been struggling with this question for a few years now. If you could please help me understand. I would greatly appriciate it.
Why is being homosexual/ bisexual a sin? Why is it so wrong?
I have a lot of friends and family who are gay, lesbian or bi. Some of them are very strong christians. I know in the Bible it says that homosexuality is a sin. What I don't understand is why God would make you one way & then condemn you to Hell for being that way. It makes no sense. And if you love God and follow him, being strong in your faith, why should you be judged?
Even if someone is gay or lesbian or bi why does the Church have to descriminate? Jesus died FOR THE SINNERS. He dined with them, talked with them, healed them. Why does the church preach fear and hate against these people? Aren't we, as the Church, the Body of Christ, supposed to be an example and bring these people into our midst? Instead of pushing them away and making them more distanced from God... why don't we get out of our shallow mindsets, see that they are people too, and invite them to find Christ and see the truth?
Thank you.
