That kind of self edifying confidence comes from Acts 2:38 make a unknown sound, get wet, fall backward. .Just perform the oneness wonderment as a sign unto yourself.
Very mangled understanding....which I guess would be complete misunderstanding of scripture.

And scary.

All these are correct and they are correct because they are viewed from God's lenses.

There's nothing new to God/ He declares the end from the beginning meaning He knows the end meaning the end and the beginning are just the same, they are one to Him. It is like a loop with start and end points joining in one place.

Those that stand saved in the end, He has them at the beginning- it doesn't mean these people do not travel through time and space and experience the loop in a journey that is actually taking them back in the beginning which to them is the end.

Do not come here thinking like God; every believer has to persevere and overcome the temptations in this world and their flesh. Even though God helps them, they have to will to overcome satans arrows. The bible is no short of encouragement but also warnings. If God does everything for us then there's absolutely no need for the warnings or even encouragement.
A person is an overcomer the moment he or she trusts Christ by faith alone. For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the vicrtory that overcometh the world, even our FAITH(1John 5:4) and Jesus is the Author and FINISHER of our faith(Hebrews 12:2) which HOPE we have as an ANCHOR of the soul, both SURE and STEDFAST(Hebrews 6:19).

I believe that a Christian that is born again, can deny Christ. Every time commit a sin, we are denying Christ, but, nevertheless, we never lose our eternal inheritance. I my not be reading you right, if so, I apologize.
99% of sin is willful and has its roots in unbelief(John 16:9) and if we believe not, yet He abideth faithful: He cannot deny Himself(2Timothy 2:13). Sin is not imputed to the believer(Romans 4:8; 2Cor. 5:19) for all sin past, present and future are forgiven(Ephesians 4;32; Colossians 2:13, 3:13; 1John 2;12). Better yet, God has justified the believer(Romans 8:33) a legal term meaning NOT GUILTY as if he or she never sinned.

Again, all these are true if viewed in God's lenses. The ones that will stand victorious at the end are the ones who were born of God/ had Faith/ Who Jesus is the author and finisher of their faith/ whose hope is an anchor.

But for those that are traversing space and time (You and i), you need to quoting this:

Rom 13:
10Love does no wrong to its neighbor. Therefore love is the fulfillment of the law.

11And do this, understanding the occasion. The hour has come for you to wake up from your slumber, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12The night is nearly over; the day has drawn near. So let us lay aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.

And i'm certain, this does not mean "our salvation is nearer now than when we were first saved", it wouldn't make any sense would it?

We ARE saved(1Cor. 1:18). Our salvation is nearer? Nearer to being with the Lord and nearer to receiving our sinless, indestructible bodies fashioned after His(Philippians 3:21).

Peter denied Christ.

To deny is to say that something is not true.

Luke 22:56-57
56 And a certain servant girl, seeing him as he sat by the fire, looked intently at him and said, “This man was also with Him.”
57 But he denied Him, saying, “Woman, I do not know Him.”

Why he did that I can only surmise that it was out of fear (which I think is why the early church was exhorted to persevere because persecution was happening) otherwise he would not have gone out and wept bitterly.

Yet we see Peter was restored.

I say that every time we sin we have given into the flesh.
So maybe we deny the power within us to overcome sin, for various reasons which I won't expand here.

If we look at Romans 8 1:12 we see Paul talking

Romans 8:1

Free from Indwelling Sin
1 There is therefore now no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who do not walk according to the flesh, but according to the Spirit. (NKJV)

Romans 8:1
Life in the Spirit
1 There is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (ESV)

Notice the difference?

Romans 8:4
4 that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us who do not walk according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

Romans 8:4
4 in order that the righteous requirement of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not according to the flesh but according to the Spirit.

See any difference?

Romans 8:5-6
5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit set their minds on the things of the Spirit. 6 For to set the mind on the flesh is death, but to set the mind on the Spirit is life and peace.

The difference between a true believer and a non beliver is their mindset.
A true believer will at times live according to the flesh but

Romans 8:9
9 You, however, are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if in fact the Spirit of God dwells in you. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him.

If we have infact the Spirit of God is in us we will seek walk in the Spirit.
So when we walk in the flesh we come before God and confess it.
The carnal mind will not seek that, therefore they deny Jesus.
They use the grace of God as a license to sin.
A true believer never would.

Then what are you saved from now? If being saved from sin and corruptible body is the future, what exactly are you saved from now?

All are justified:

1 John 2: 2He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

But only those that abide (by loving others), endure to end are saved:

Matt 24:13But the one who perseveres to the end will be saved.

True, but having faith in Christ has nothing to do with mental pictures of Christ on the cross for our sins and then murmuring the same, having faith in Christ/ believing in Christ means loving others.
Having faith in Christ/believing in Christ means trusting in Christ as the ALL-sufficient means of your salvation. (Acts 10:43; Ephesians 2:8) Loving others through acts of charity which “follows” having been saved through faith is “works.” (James 2:15-16)

We “have been” saved (past tense with ongoing present results) from the PENALTY of sin (justification) and we “will be” saved (future tense) from the PRESENSE of sin (glorification).

I have been accused of being hard headed, so, help me to understand you by answering this question. If you have the Holy spirit dwelling within you, do you believe that you do not commit sin? It is my understanding that once we have the indwelling Holy Spirit within us, even when we commit a sin, the Holy Spirit is still indwelling within us and that is why God can prick our hearts and bring us to repentance. Can you expound on this?

As Hebrews 4:12 says the soul and spirit are CLOSE but SEPARATE. I believe the spirit is fully redeemed and sinless. The soul which is the personality, emotions, will etc. is not redeemed and must be continually renewed by the word of God(Romans 12:2). There is where I believe the sin nature lies. We grieve the Spirit because He knows sin hurts US.

Fact - The whole world was justified/ saved in the past when Christ died on the cross:

1 John 2:2 He Himself is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

Rom 5:
6You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. 7Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. 8But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

9Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him! 10For if, while we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to him through the death of his Son, how much more, having been reconciled, shall we be saved through his life!
.......
18Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people.

Simple logic.
If all the world was saved (past) when Christ died for all the ungodly (you and i included) but not all will make it in future after judgement, then many lost the salvation that they started with at the beginning. That's why no one is saved until they are saved; meaning that in between what Christ did and the future judgement, what we do makes the difference between those that will stand victorious and those that will not.

it is not what you are insinuating here about past present and future of only believers; believers are only those that will be victorious in the end.

Scripture says in 1Cor. 1:18 believers ARE SAVED and one spirit with the Lord(1Cor. 6:17). We don't make salvation but we receive it by FATIH.
