I think the stat is the highest rate of mass shooting death by population.

You want to talk about Nordic countries with issues its Sweden. I think they had the highest rate of grenade attacks on earth last year.
That and gangs are routinely picking up old Soviet AK's with big mags. Because gun control works soooooo well.

The problem is, the Police Chief of Houston makes no argument. Stomping around, pissed off, doesn't compel anyone to change their mind.
Honestly, if I was a citizen of Houston, I'd be very concerned about extrajudicial measures the Police Chief may take, to deny my rights.
Case by case basis. It still shows that the US is overall safer than people think. Especially when you take gang mass shootings off the list.
Same goes for violence overall when you exclude key cities like DC, Chicago, etc. Ie, mostly areas with a lot of gun control.

Yeah, Ben Shapiro pulled out some stats. If you remove Los Angeles county, Cook county, Detroit, Baltimore, and the District, our murder rate and actual number of murders would be lower than Australia..... by a mile.

Christians are already aware of the evil in the world, which is one reason they were converted, because they themselves are evil and wicked in their hearts.
Take away guns, and others who are evil and wicked in their hearts will find other methods to murder others. It's not the guns, it is the result of fallen man.
And by the way, prayer is still valid, powerful, necessary and efficacious. Others can mock it, mitigate it and ridicule it but the fact remains that these types of murders will continue because our nation is in defiance of God and his ways.
We will pray for the families of the victims, national revival, a turning to God. The ultimate needful thing is for many to repent and believe the Gospel, our nation is in dire need of God and his mercy.
