I just had breakfast/lunch/dinner kind of all in one :D Lasagna ;):)

Before it was ready, my appetizer was unsalted organic corn chips with sliced cheddar and a small avocado :)

Ahh! The ambrosia of Garfield!

Big drama in the kitchen. I'd planned a cauliflower fried rice with sesame hoisin pork, cabbage steaks, rice and carrot salad. The pork turned out to be ground beef, my son had eaten the carrots (rainbow heirloom), and the cabbage had gotten all diced with I made lazy cabbage rolls. I got my apron all in a twist but decided I could make some quick tortillas, saute, red peppers, onions and garlic, create some taco meat and it was burrito and pan fries, corn on the cob, and orange slices. It was a quiet dinner as everyone chowed down and now I return to my nightly washing of the dishes. Maybe I should have made some lemon squares with a shortbread crust. She wipes her hands and leaves the kitchen before she can reach for the mixing bowl.

It after 4 am here. Yesterday I made pizza for lunch, leftover for supper. And today I should be whipping up some flour tortilla dough for stiffing with something or another. I usually make burritos with cheddar cheese and home refritos, but time will tell on that one.

When I cook I pray over it, and especially asking I not poison myself...
