I lived in Rockland, Maine for 8 years and stopped at Tim Horton's many times. Unfortunately, the city couldn't support the franchise and they closed the doors after a few years. Great coffee.
On behalf of Canada, I would like to congratulate you on acknowleging that Canada is therefore the head of the US.
Growing up in Detroit I have been to Windsor, Ontario quite a few times. Very clean and peaceful city. Spent some time in Sarnia too which is across the Blue Water Bridge from Port Huron. Been to Sault Sainte Marie on both the Michigan and Ontario side and have been to Niagara Falls twice, both in New York and Ontario. I have had awesome experiences in Canada. Very friendly peeps too.
Well, Canada is still under the monarchy. I dare say they'd do better as a state and part of America that being under Charles. Never had any respect for the man myself. He son should be king now IMO. But having a president has a lot more freedom than being under the monarchy which mostly ignores Canada as far as I see.
But the only harm is the harm that will come to Canadians. They should have ignored Trump. It was the stupidest thing to do, vote liberal again. smh I hate to see what's coming.
I have a gf that lives in Sarnia, it's a nice city. I've been all over Ontario, but that was because I was in ministry so I traveled a lot.
You wanted to know how Canada could be the 51st state, I thought it was funny.
It is quite scenic but also there is usually fog to deal with, along with the cold and the wind. I lived there from 2005 to 2014. My late second wife's parents lived in Rockland and so we left Florida so that she could be with them. My years there were probably the hardest and loneliness years of my life.
My dad took me and two other brothers camping there in a provincial park for a long weekend. Good memories of my time there.
I'm sorry to hear that. I was able to travel there mainly during the summer. But of course I was just stopping at a church and moving on to the next one. I did get to sing at the church that Walmart built. Not sure, but the locals know about it. It was quite a church!
God bless you for your service to the Lord. Summers are nice in Maine but unfortunately don't last long. You can't beat the fall foliage though. Extremely colorful. Maine is a nice place to visit but, for a lot of people, a hard place to live. Especially those from another state. You got to admit, moving from Florida to Maine is quite a change in lifestyle.
I did the reverse. lol I went from Nova Scotia to the south. The heat those first couple summers durn near killed me. But I met my hubby here so, it's all good, like the kids say. Yes, the Lord allowed me to meet so many wonderful people and share the Word with hundreds of people. I hope one day to meet many of them in heaven. God is good!!
Whats funny is Canadians and the communist left here went nuts over it. Trump loves to make liberals go off.
Boy you're telling me. You are so right. Ignoring the dumb wordplay from both sides would have been the best thing to do. As if Carney could have in any way shape or form come out ahead of Trump. Dumb and dumber.
I had heard so much about, I don't know how to spell his name, but the conservative guy. I thought he was Canada's Trump. I was sure he was going to win. Even the liberals in my family hated Trudeau.
Well technically, Charlie is Canada's Head of State...not in Quebec tho LOL! That ole hatred between the French and English from centuries back is alive and well in PQ.
Come on now...you're a smart women (can tell by yr posts) you think Canada would do better under this gov? and as one gigantic state? On the flip side, in that casr Quebec might just go for that. It's always the wild card. Queen E hung on forever and it was always said that she would not give her throne to Charles. She did her best. Everyone respected her. The older son of Charles seems to have his head together...guess we'll see.
Canada should definately incorporate a better representation tho, but that British Parliament way of doing things......
Yeah Poilievre. He is from out west. Did you know thay Carney got dirty and managed to get Poilievre out of his own riding? He managed to get back in, in a huge win, so he is back in the house now. Again, Carney is just beginning to reveal his nasty character and soon enough Canadians will want him gone. Gotta live with their mistake for now tho
