So one other thing i liked in Canada was Tim Horton's which was the equivalent of Dunkin Donuts for us people in the south and Jimmy the Greek!
I loved Jimmy the Greek when i was traveling from state to state Montreal, Toronto and other areas in-between.
Jimmy the Greek was there for me to take care of me.

Jimmy Horton's reminds me of Black-Eyed Pea (also Southern). I ate at one in Buffalo, NY. It was pretty good.

Hey, hey! I have a sense of humor! But how can Canada be the 51st state, don't even celebrate the same turkey day??

I have a great sense of humor but I don't find anything funny about Trump wanting to grab Canada. Or any other country he would like to assimalate.

That was one of Trumps biggest mistakes that might have hurt your election.
He makes over the top comments on occasion as digs to other presidents and leaders. He made the comment to poke at your former PM Justin Trudeau. He had no aspirations for going to war with the crown and Usurping Canada. The way it came across, the leftist media manipulated the comment to bring division between Canada and USA.

Yeah I know what he did and it was at that point I started to loose some of the respect I him for him prior. Of course he would not physically try to take over a soverign country. BUT he shows a lack of respect for the fact that Canada is not the home of Trudeau and the current PM only. As a Canadian myself, I found his words insulting and you find yourself thinking 'who does he think he is?'

He also thought he could buy Greenland. Greenlanders did not care for that idea either.

I will dissagree that the leftist media is alone to be blamed for the negative sentiment Trump stirred up in Canada. I think Trump managed to do the most harm himself.

To be clear on my thoughts though, I do not vote as I am not legally able to do so but I would vote for Trump. He needs to watch his words though because people tend to be protective of where they live or where they are from just as Americans would be and certainly Mr. Trump.

No idea.
Isn't Canada America's hat?
When i visited Montreal, which was very nice by the way, those people lived underground in the winter. The whole time. Like squirrels.
That's why it's so quiet up there.

More like they are the toque than a hat bro..........LOL A hat, ah take off eh.

He definitely made his interests known for acquiring Greenland to gain their rare earth minerals.
I haven't heard anything about the recently.

I was really disturbed by his comment about Canada. I can totally understand that resentment. Americans and Canadians were never connected more than any other time in our life. His comments were unwise and predictably twisted by both USA & Canadian media. That nullified that positive momentum for your election. I assume you are Canadian. It was tragic and my heart goes out to you all.

My first post, albeit humourous, was a reference to that. You remember the truckers organizing for a righteous cause a couple of years ago. Trudeau was having an economic and political war with the people opposed to his tyranny. Their bank accounts were frozen, which might as well had been stolen. Even those who donated to the protesters were denied access to their own money. This pictures what will no doubt happen in the first years of the tribulation. Even now it's happening in non compliers, yet without the Mark of the beast being implemented.

I have to get back to work but just listened to a segment of an very insightful interview with a Google insider. I will post it on my thread under the Corruption and Conspiracy forum.

Have a great day!

Yes I'm Cdn, married to an American for over 20 yrs. I only sold my house up north about 9 yrs ago and moved down here. Believe me, I was not and I am not desperate to become an American. I did not marry my husband to move to the US. People talk about the so called 'American Dream', which it seems is becoming nightmare fodder for many. We have our home bought from the proceeds of my home so good for us I guess.

Yes I sure do remember the trucker strike. That @#$*! Trudeau froze all their bank accounts AFTER he fled Ottawa as you say. He is a coward and not an example of any Canadian I know. Carney is revealing himself to be another one worlder. He is a failed banker, having worked in England with a record he would just as soon we all do not check up on.

I am not nor have I ever been anti American. It gauls me that some Americans think Canada is some kind of 3rd world country. I am serious about that. My dad was in the RCMP and did border patrol one summer. That was some years back but he was taken aback at the sheer ignorance of some visiting Canada with at least one person wanting to know where the Eskimos were. Canadians, by and large, are not ignorant of the US. We are well educated, have a sustainable health plan if they would quit giving it away to so called immigrants and and we are known throughout the world as a people who can be depended on.

I'm going to drop something here that I have been thinking for awhile now. All of this America 1st? I don't have the best feeling about it. Sorry, I just don't. I don't believe Trump is a Christian either. There is no evidence of it.

I never considered Canada to be 3rd world. I think Canada would benefit mutually from free trade, tax free commerce, and industry that would not be appropriate for certain other nations.
However I love Canadian humor and have been reprimanded for Red Green references and jokes from the pulpits of pastors. I guess it's because that rural stereotype reminds me of myself and WV.
That also means that I can't miss a chance to trade jokes with my Canadian sisters here.
Speaking of which...

On that previous post, I refered to this interview with the Google insider. I made a mistake. It's on the News forum. The first 7 minutes.
