This assumes the start of the 7oth week was o n Jesus baptism. No where in the OT does it state Jesus will be introduced as messiah in his baptism. In fact, Jesus keeps saying after this yet. My Time is not yet. Even he understand, The messiah would be introduced to his people riding on a donkey. Which is the END of the 69th week to a T, and then Jesus is killed. There was no start of the 70th week in Jesus day
The missing gap only means that Israel as a nation is not in the truth that Jesus is their Lord and Savior.
It has nothing to do with the Church for it will keep going on during the whole Church age, and there are Jews that accept Jesus.
Jesus came unto His own, but His own did not receive Him.
Jesus said salvation is of the Jews.
Jesus said the Jews house will be desolate, and that the Jews will not see Him again until they say blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord.

The Church does not replace Israel, but Israel is the Church, but they temporarily lost the kingdom on earth, but will be restored in the future for God always restores the Jews.
God said if the ordinances of heaven are still in affect then His covenant with Israel still stands, and they shall not cease from being a nation.
Israel as a nation must come to the truth.
The Bible says that Israel as a nation has 70 weeks to make an end of sins, bring in everlasting righteousness, and anoint the most holy who is Jesus.

Which Paul said the saints will not be gathered unto Christ until there is a falling away first, and the man of sin claims to be God, which the falling away is the condition of the world in response to the Gospel which the nations came together and for the first three and one half years they stopped the preaching of the Gospel and at the end of that time the transgressors have come to the full, and then a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences shall stand up and deceive all people who do not love God to follow him, and by peace shall destroy many, and shall destroy the mighty and holy people.
Which Jesus said if He did not shorten the days of the tribulation no flesh would be saved, for the beast is not only against the Christians, but against all people for he is controlled by Satan and would want the people that follow him to be destroyed too, which they will take God's wrath, and he will lead them to the battle of Armageddon where they will be put down by God.
And for the last three and one half years God will turn Israel as a nation to the truth by 2 witnesses and at the end of the 7 years period the nation will be in the truth and the 70th week is fulfilled.
If the 70th week was fulfilled in the first century Israel as a nation would of been in the truth, and the world put down back then, but God has given mankind more time than that to be saved then only in the first century.
Israel is blinded in part, which they acknowledge the Old Testament for the majority, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in, when salvation is no longer available to the Gentiles, and so all Israel shall be saved.
Since salvation is still available to the Gentiles then the fulness of the Gentiles have not come in.
God warns the saints of the New Age movement and their false interpretation of the Bible, and the time will come that the world will only want to hear the Bible according to the new age movement.
The new age movement does not believe the New Age Christ will help them to achieve peace on earth, and to cause them to evolve until the nations come together as one to work for peace on earth.
Which the New Age Christ will say the Christ conscience came upon him and he evolved to be greater and spiritual, and he is above Jesus, which they believe the man Jesus evolved to be an ascended master and avatar, but not the final teacher in the evolutionary process.

The New Age Christ will work in the world as a great man of peace, and get the trust of many people, and push the agenda of the new age movement to prepare them for when he claims to be God.
The first three and one half years repentance and salvation are still available to the world.
The world will be split in to 10 sections with a leader in each section, the 10 horn kingdom, the 7th king, who will operate for a short space, three and one half years.
And the time the world will want to hear the Bible according to the new age movement.

Clash between the religion of Islam and the world which is such a terrible war that the 10 horn kingdom failed at providing peace, and the world is devastated, and they turn to the New Age Christ as the solution to have peace on earth.
The beast will deceive all people who do not love God to follow him, and when they follow the beast and take his mark salvation is no longer available to them, and the fulness of the Gentiles have come in.

What we are looking at, is a gap destroys Christianity. Because much of Christ's work including his atonement happened in the 70th week. If you turn him into Antichrist as many do, and move that thousands of years into the future, you not only have a total subject change the passage does not support, you reject Christ and Christianity and replace it with pagan Judaism.
Daniels Prophecy is about two different periods. After the Messiah was cut of; the Prince that came was Titus with his army they destroyed the temple and the city. This happened in AD70. After the city and sanctuary were destroyed desolation's were determined. There is no mention of how long the desolation's last. To date it has been about 2000 years The seventieth week doesn't follow on from the 69th. Titus never made a seven year covenant with Israel; but he was a type of the Antichrist to come during the future seventieth week which is the second period of time covered by the Prophecy.
It's insanity how faithfully they stand on nothing. This futurist deception is the most crazy thing I've had my eyes open to yet, and it blows my mind how fast it can take a brother who was your friend last week and cause them to condemn you as a joke and have you burning in a heretical hell the second you even disagree with the golden calf of the pre trib rapture. This deceptive view has reborn believers arguing with me that Jesus is not King right now. Anything that made this combination of words to leave my lips would give me pause, but nope, they arrogantly refuse to even consider anything else. Just blows my mind.
