Curious what people are thinking since it seems the same people are following the threads, and most seem to ignore them.

(And multiple choice is OK.)

I have checked "Other" since those who reject what the Bible clearly teaches about the role of women will never change their minds. That is a part of the Satanic deception which has entered into the churches.

I think some (not all!) of these men have very weak egos, and are threatened by women. Let God take care of it! If women like myself are wrong for following God's call.... wait, I am following God's call, don't care a bit what some of these annoying and angry men are saying!

I also think that the KJV is a frequent source of bad doctrine. Not that the version isn't a good one, but people don't understand the language, and make all kinds of mistakes in interpreting it.

I just thought I would answer this poll, which basically I said, men should worry about their own backyard. God is quite capable of stopping women if he doesn't want them to preach. And he certainly has never stopped me!

I honestly don't know to answer the question without opening a can of worms and creating a super-long thread.

I'll just leave it the posts I've made on other threads about this subject which express my perspective on it.

LOL I'm German and you can always tell a German but you cannot tell him much.

God created a patriarchal not a matriarchal order to society.

Adam was created the first man. Eve was made from Adams rib.

I'm an alpha, but my husband is the 1st. alpha in our union, because Jesus made it that way...
no problem from me, He represents God in our lives and I always uphold Him...

It did not have to become a can of worms, but it has, because some (both women and men) hate what God has said about the roles of women.

As to the Scriptures themselves, they are crystal clear. Everything flow from the fact that Adam was created first, then Eve, but Eve was the one deceived by Satan. Now that same Satanic deception has led to women being ordained and becoming pastors and teachers in many churches.

Yes that is true but Adam proved he was not up to the task.

This question arrives often on religious forums. I learned a long time ago it isn't worth arguing the issue. While it is fascinating to learn where people are in their walk with Christ just in reading responses. Those who are still in their sin nature insist God is prejudiced against all the same people they are.
While the women's names that show women are called to minister and those are proof in the bible passages are ignored or explained away.

It's quite the thing to watch.

God wouldn't stop you. You have free will to do right or wrong on your own.

Yes, Adam failed God and mankind. But God already knew that he would fail, and therefore He saw Christ as the second -- and real -- Adam.

HEBREWS 2
5 For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that thou art mindful of him? or the son of man, that thou visitest him?

7 Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; thou crownedst him with glory and honour, and didst set him over the works of thy hands:

8 Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

Adam was crowned with glory and honor at his creation. But he was driven out of Eden after his disobedience. Yet God had something even better planned through Christ.

And just as Adam was a type of Christ, Eve was a type of the Church, taken out of Adam's side in order to be his helper. Hence the God-given roles of men and women, with Christian marriage being a type of the Marriage of the Lamb.
