It would be great if the men who argue heatedly against female preachers/leaders etc. would instead put that energy into becoming godly men and letting Christ work through them.
The circles I move in, we won't argue with them either. We just tell them to hush and to take their seat. Most of our women agree with us.

,I didn't have a dad (or a mom), i didn't have a grandpa. I had no authority growing up. Us kids were left alone, sometimes for weeks. We turned all the lights on at night, and had the doors opened and unlocked, in a bad neighborhood. We would throw the couch cushins on the floor and tried to jump on them without touching the floor while playing tag. We were wild. We ate over a friends house, or cake mix out of the box, plants outside, my brother even ate dog food, stole from the grocery store, whatever we could find. It's amazing we survived by the power of God.
I identified with Pippi Longstocking, who was a child character who had no parents and lived in a house all by herself. And also with Little orphan Annie. How I longed for a dad. When I was in school I asked a couple of male teachers if they'd be my dad. I actually longed for rules, because rules meant "I care about you." I actually do not mind male authority.
When I grew up I saw men become very feminine. Women wore the pants in the family like on Everybody loves Roman. He couldn't even play golf? Seriously? He also didn't do the responsibie stuff like discipline the kids, and the wife had to discipline him? It was a funny show, but in real life I think a lack of male authority or masculinity is a nightmare. Men are leaving their homes and families to get drunk in bars and find women they can live off of.
If an elder of the church corrects me on something, if he is biblically right the first thing I do is thank him, while in my mind I am washing his feet. I show respect to him in order to show respect to God. And I honor, welcome, and am thankful to see that there are still men who are actual men. I have no problem with male authority, I only have a problem with them abusing that position and not leading correctly. When that happens I am no longer anything but a Christian who will take a stand against it.

Men have been like that since the old testament unfortunately, it's not gods will I admit. Sometimes are not up to task. We become feeble minded, lazy, drunk, passive and cowardly. I don't blame women who have had enough. Someone has to take control. If men started to act like men now, it would take decades before things started going correctly.
I had no siblings and a mother that heard voices so I stayed in my room, alone. But to add a new twist to an old saying, sometimes a woman's got to do what a man should have done. I don't play golf either, I ride motorcycles!
I get annoyed by these woman discussions because of a few reasons.
1. God gave everyone a mouth and voice to speak.
2. How about people start teaching according to the bible and less by tradition.
3. How about teaching the commandments God gave men?
4. And I hate it how alone by having separate accounts or keeping some things apart, people jump to conclusions. There are individual decisions where no one has the right to accuse and judge anyone (especially when its no ones business and/or just a opinion)
Also according to the apocryphal (yes I am opening that can) men and woman were created equal but lilith (first wifeof adam) turned againstout God so God then made eve.which in some translations u can still see where there are two beginnings as they forgot to take out a sentence.
Ok rant over. Im not gonna arguego so dont expect me to reply
I'm not gonna argue over that, did you ever notice in genesis 1 god created man and woman but in 2 he created adam and eve and in between he rested?
HA, HA, Chapter one is a summary, or an introduction.I'm not gonna argue over that, did you ever notice in genesis 1 god created man and woman but in 2 he created adam and eve and in between he rested?
Neither was Eve, obviously.Yes that is true but Adam proved he was not up to the task.

One creation, two people made as one .To represent the father and the Son as two working together in mutual submission to one another . Not just a rib but bone of bone, and flesh of flesh .One breathYes that is true but Adam proved he was not up to the task.

I confess that I don't know what they are saying. However, woman's role is to be the helpmate of the husband (Gen 2.18).
