How you are cut down to the ground,
You who weakened the nations!

It was the prehistoric world where "Lucifer" used to bring in the mornings.
Lucifer (later known as Satan) was one of the morning star, type angels.
Morning stars were light bearing angels..... that is why he fell "like lightning."
There is much to learn...
And, sad to say. Too many willing to suppress it.
This, or...Jesus was shortly to go to the cross then ascend to heaven and cleanse it with His blood. The cross is the crux history. Nothing offensive or sinful could be allowed to soil glory again.
Bible interpretation demands an element of imagination to picture what needs to be understood.
But, at the same time. Its not creative writing class.
Some of us who are not yet ready to interpret wish to use a Scripture to create poetic fantasy. Fantasy that does not explain it.
But, rather. It is used to explain something away, something that they do not know yet how to explain.
Its much better to simply say.... "I just do not know."
That kind of honesty God can teach.
Look at the correlation!

I would have more confidence in your instruction if you actually followed it yourself.
You're wrong. I am following it. I think you are wrong. But I don't think you are wrong because I'm not humble enough or unteachable, but because I have studied the Bible.
Let's see how humble and teachable you are. Have you ever outlined the book of Deuteronomy? Can you break it down for me, let's say, into 4-6 major parts?
You want that done with great detail and accuracy?

And, you are impugning me by telling me I have not studied the Bible?
Real teaching/study can not be done in this format.
You should know that if you really study as required.
If you take sufficient time to learn from that gifted pastor I showed you, you shall be in for pleasant shocks when finding out what is contained within the Word of God.

I want you to instruct me. I've made an easily understood request of you. Since you have already begun instructing me, I'm prepared to humble myself under your tutelage and learn. The book of Deuteronomy. Basic outline. 4-6 main sections and the main theme of each. Go.
What are you trying to do? Voting me in to having a gift I have not been given?
Like the naive and presumptuous- pre-pentecost -disciples did when they drew straws to determine for who was to replace Judas?
If you really wanted to learn? The Holy Spirit would show you where to learn, and not whom to attack in a splurge of egotism.
I have been well taught, and know you have no idea whom God will raise up for those who are truly wanting truth, and not just looking for something they can teach to look informed to those who have not been well taught.

I know you have studied the Bible. I read everyone's posts. But that doesn't mean you understand everything you have studied correctly. This is true of us all. It also doesn't mean for all your learning that you are gifted to teach or have become anymore like Christ than when you started. So if you speak condescendingly to me, at least teach me something. You put yourself in the role of one who knows things and gave me instruction on how I ought to behave. If you are going to assume to be my teacher, I would be doing myself and you a grave disservice if I didn't at least test your credentials to insure we are not wasting our time.
While I agree that this forum is not ideal for lengthy study, it is sufficient to find out if it's worth pursuing. So here is your opportunity. Break down the book of Deuteronomy into 5 sections and share the major theme of each section.

It's a shame you missed the point. I already have a wonderful and gifted teacher in my life and listen to and read many excellent Bible teachers. That you assume so much concerning yourself and so little towards others is at the heart of what I was sharing. It isn't the first time I've attempted to share it with you. At least do what you instructed me to do...go humbly before God and ask the Spirit to see if there is anything to it.
Nothing changes. You just get elected. One needs to know zero. One can be huffing paint, know nothing, think nothing, do nothing and He elects you.
Seems like you contradicted yourself. He at once knows what will work, but no matter what he DOES, it will never work? God isn't omnipotent?
It's grace that God uses within people to achieve his purposes. See Gen 20 and the account of Abimelech and Sarah and how God intervened on behalf of Sarah to save her from being defiled.
Does Satan have any choice now as to his final destiny? Can the evil one press the "undo" icon?
