I think there is something. Do you have any skills? Are you educated toward any field of work? Hobbies? And knowledge, wisdom, or craft you could bring into a marriage?
And lets think about this; what could you bring to a marriage, that will make marriage easier for your spouse, same as what he could bring, to make it easy for you to be married?
I want to touch on this again.
I know people feel close, connected, and love for their parents. They want to honor them.
I have, as a parent, become practical in my feelings about this.
I have kids to raise them, and launch them. I fully expect them to go off, and have their own families. I do not want to ever get in the way of that. I have children to go on, and have their own..... not to take care of me. I just want the grandkids every once in awhile.
...but Lynx...what about your sense of humour lol...you make me laugh just about every time you say anything on here...
Is it because the nature of your work? I agree in terms of frontline Police being strapped to protect themselves too. I guess here in NZ, we aren’t big with “gun control” cos we rarely have issues with it. My view is that if you can use it safely and have been trained to do so then go for it.
Oh no doubt, when I get married, I know my place which will be to honour and submit to my husband. I guess I meant it in a way of “looking out for them” when I’m married.

lol...erm...oh dear...problems with adolescents...namely my 12 year old...a messy kitchen thanks to my un-selfish, very considerate kids...emotional instability...I guess I'm just not there yet...I used to be quite good at cooking before I got weary of it, and I like my house to look nice so that makes me pretty good at dying to self lol... I can play the guitar a bit and sing to the Lord who I am completely devoted to which of course is the main thing...once I'm committed I'm totally committed and would never be unfaithful...I love kids and animals and people...I can be very affectionate...I appreciate good, open-hearted conversation, I reckon I have good taste generally...lol this feels like boasting??????I have a servant heart but I do have lots of faults too, I can be very tender-hearted...I'm also pretty good at putting my make-up on??????...oh and I appreciate a good sense of humour...Thankyou for asking meSkylar, my beautiful sister..... I want to hear what you have to offer!

Oh yeah, one thing I forgot to mention. I don't think much about it, but these days it seems like some people consider it an extraordinary thing, so I will mention it here.
I don't have any debt. Not even a credit card balance. I have no idea why it is so incredible, but it worries me that people think of it as something remarkable. But it might be a mark in my favor, so I'll put it here.
