Saturday, it'll be breakfast at Back On Track, a cozy old-time historical depot in Broadalbin New York. ( no JBM there so i'll have a cup of it at home 1st ).

Just thought I’d make a thread to share our healthy breakfast options for the day and maybe learn about new healthy alternatives to the breakfasts we already eat.

Today’s breakfast consists of:
1. Protein oatmeal with died apple pieces
2. A banana
3. Black pepper whole pistachios
4. And Poppi, a prebiotic soda brand that I’ve been buying lately for gut health.

Just waiting for the oatmeal to cool down, and I was glancing at the dairy queen breakfast menu for ideas. I also might have put too much water in the oatmeal.
I learned more about oatmeal from @CarriePie who has been eating oatmeal daily for breakfast for years. She got me onto eating oatmeal and now I plan on eating it every day. I’ve noticed a big difference in the way I feel and look, which overall boosts my mood. Highly recommend.

Today I had overnight oats with chia seeds and almond milk, topped with fresh berries and a spoonful of peanut butter. I also had a banana and a handful of almonds, plus some green tea. Oatmeal keeps me full and energized, and I like switching up toppings to keep it interesting.

Here's a slice of a tasty frittata I made this morning, consisting of eggs and some half & half, ground turkey, and shredded cheese. Plus lots of veggies: broccoli, onions, green/orange/yellow bell peppers, and mushrooms.

A simple breakfast today of 2 overhard eggs and a parfait I put together consisting of non-fat plain Greek yogurt, banana slices, and local honey. I know op said I've been eating oatmeal for years and it's true, I've just been ending the year with a few different breakfasts. I plan to get back to my oatmeal soon.
