I'm sorry it says the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord and Satan also came with them ... it does not say Satan was one of 'em ... you saying Satan is a son of God?.

Hebrews specifically says of angels "to which of them did God ever say thou art My son? ... are they not all messengers and servant?

Psalms I agree is a tougher one but it is not conclusively referring to angels. I don't like to be pernickety but verse 7 does not need to be sequential, I admit that most commentators take them to mean angels.

This does not answer my question

How did these fallen angels acquire the ability to create the necessary capability to procreate with women against the will of God?

Also, the act of *presenting themselves before the Lord* occurred on Earth. In the King James Bible it says that Abraham "stood before the Lord" and Moses was "before the Lord". So I don't get where people think that "before the Lord" had to be in heaven

Saying: "there is no scripture which declares this" is denying the word of God = the religious standard.
Brotherman, you said the following.....
Preponderance of Evidence #1 = Bring forth a single scripture that declares the sons of Seth as the sons of God in Genesis.
Then I ansewered with this.....
There is no scripture which "declares" this directly. The Bible says to "compare scripture with scripture" to rightly divide the word of truth. So, here goes.......
So I merely ADMITTED that no such scripture does. And it, in fact, doesn't to my knowledge. So you then try to turn my admission around, saying I'm "denying the word of God". You actually contradicted yourself here, in order to make an attack, and you don't even seem to know it.

A.) One must believe on the Lord first, in order to "call on Him"
Romans 10: 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

B.) One must believe on the Lord first, in order to "call on Him"
Romans 10: 14 How then shall they call on Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall they believe in Him of whom they have not heard? And how shall they hear without a preacher?

C). The "sons of God" became such, because they believed and called upon the name of the Lord way back in Genesis 4 Genesis 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.

Your conclusion = A + B = C: "The sons of God include the named individuals in Genesis 5 and they are ancestors in the lineage of Christ."

THANK YOU Brother for your thought provoking analysis.

Your conclusion is a error by thoughtful, but, misapplied scripture/logic.

This is NOT a personal reproach upon you = please do not surmise it to be

PLEASE review your analysis and go back to Genesis and find out why it is not the correct/accurate conclusion.

Thank you, also, brother, for the kind and thoughtful answer.
If you read further, you will see that I have analyzed it. The term "sons of God" is defined in the Bible as to what type of being it refers to..........
Jhn 1:12
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
Phl 2:15
That ye may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world;
1Jo 3:1
Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.
1Jo 3:2
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

That's just 4, but there are more. There is only one scripture which uses the word "angels" and "son" together and here it is.
Heb 1:5
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

Yes, we are Beloved Brothers in HIM who loves us and shed HIS Blood for us so that we can fellowship in HIS LOVE - AMEN

i FULLY AGREE with your analysis of rightly dividing the Scripture pertaining to our becoming "sons of God" thru His Election of Grace thru Faith in His Word - Amen

However, your conclusion that Genesis ch6 were "sons of God" thru 'saving faith' is in error as you cannot find a scripture that:
a.) confirms Genesis ch6 'sons of God' as 'saved elect'
b.) confirms Genesis ch6 'sons of God' as the seed of men

Furthermore, the evidence in Genesis strongly rebuffs your conclusion.
This loving correction from the LORD is found in Genesis and, as a Blood washed son of God, you are able to see it with prayer and honesty.

PLEASE seek this answer from scripture in Genesis as to exactly why Genesis ch6 'sons of God' were fallen angels that cohabitated with the 'daughters of men'.

The answer is there, glaring Truth.

PEACE

a) Yes I can. The entire summary of Genesis 6 is about the events and people of Genesis 4 and Genesis 5. Men "began to multiply" back in Genesis 4 with all the "begatting" of the generations of Cain. The genealogies of the believers are listed in Genesis 5 with a whole lot more "begatting". Men had also "began to call upon the name of the Lord" back in Genesis 4. Those who "call upon the name of the Lord become sons of God by faith, Just like the Bible says happens when we call upon Him in faith. "as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God" the Bible says.

b) Yes, We'll zero in one one of these men who lived during the events of Genesis 6: this man, named "Enoch", was a man who "walked with God", "prophesied" and was "translated" (never had to die). He definitely was a believer, so close to God that God "took" him, and I'll guarantee he is one of those who "called upon the name of the Lord". He fits all of the criteria for a human believer/son of God. And he was a "seed of men" as you say (other believers actually) as confirmed in Genesis 6.

God's sex Ed 101 = Marriage is for reproduction via male sex organ cohabitating(intercourse) with female sex organ = created by God

cohabitation
definition:
noun
  1. The act or state of dwelling together or in the same place.
  2. The state of dwelling or living together as husband and wife: often with reference to persons who are not legally married, and usually, but not always, implying sexual intercourse.
  3. The act or state of dwelling together, or in the same place with another.

You have not yet produced a single scripture to validate your erroneos conclusion.

Now you are embarking on religious rhetoric, which is always the case with unbelievers who oppose clear scripture.

Yes, on this subject, you are an unbeliever walking in disbelief with satan's rhetoric = "did God really say....".

I will therefore put you in remembrance, though ye once knew this, how that the Lord, having saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed them that believed not. And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.
Likewise Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to sexual immorality, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

Clear Truth for God's Children in the Know

Everyone else is on the outside relying on flawed intellect.

A lot of saved, born again believers differ on interpretation of some scriptures. The most important thing as far as we are concerned is knowing Jesus and him crucified, being born of the Spirit, indwelled with the Holy Ghost, and sealed unto the day of redemption.
Resorting to personal attacks does not prove one's point. You don't know my spiritual condition and I have not judged yours.
But we've already been through this. It was the Sodomites, in the book of Jude, who went after strange flesh (because they were defiling the flesh as homosexuals). The angels' main sin was that they rebelled because they didn't want to be under dominion of God anymore. You're getting them mixed up, I guess, either because you do not understand, or you refuse to accept it any other way..

Were Nephilim (Gen 6) judged differently by God?

taking into factor, the Fallen Angels attempt to destroy the lineage of God's SEED by procreating with human women and producing demonic offspring suggests by reasoning alone they could never repent. simply because they would not possess any mental or spiritual reason to repent. so they were always looking at 2 deaths, physical and eternal.

ZERO personal attacks against you.

i do not tolerate religious rhetoric in the Light of clear scripture.

Keep this is the forefront of your mind and heart:
a.) satan said: "did God really say" = Genesis 3:1 = you have been using this format

b.) Proverbs 30:5-6
Every word of God is flawless;
He is a shield to those who take refuge in Him.
Do not add to His words,
lest He rebuke you and prove you a liar.

c.) If we argue against "It is written" we argue against God and Truth = Job ch1, Job 38:1-7, Luke 20:34-36, Jude 1:5-7

You have a serious error in your conclusion that is cleartly exposed in Genesis = reject the religious rhetoric, find the Truth on this and cherish it.
Pray to the LORD to open your understanding and HE will if you are willing to let go and see.

Hebrews specifically says of angels "to which of them did God ever say thou art My son?
You quoted it out of context.
He said, “For to which of the angels did He ever say, “You are my son, today I have begotten you”? (Hebrews 1:5)
God has never said that whole phrase to an angel in the 1st person.

it does not say Satan was one of 'em ... you saying Satan is a son of God?
No, I did not say Satan was a son of God (you're putting words in my mouth).
I said the angels are "sons of God" (בְּנֵ֥י אֱלֹהִֽים) (bene elohim)

The "sons of God" were present at the dawn of creation (Job 38:4-7) before Adam was made.

““Where were you when I laid the foundation of the earth? Tell Me, if you have understanding, Who set its measurements? Since you know. Or who stretched the line on it? “On what were its bases sunk? Or who laid its cornerstone, When the morning stars sang together And all the sons of God shouted for joy?” (Job 38:4–7)

I already explained this in my previous post:
If you say "(bene elohim)" are referring to humans, then you are saying there were humans before Adam.
But we know that isn't true because Adam was the first human (Acts 17:26), so "(bene elohim)" are not referring to humans.

God did not beget angels, Christ was the firstborn Son of God. Angels are created beings.
