Also, the act of *presenting themselves before the Lord* occurred on Earth. In the King James Bible it says that Abraham "stood before the Lord" and Moses was "before the Lord". So I don't get where people think that "before the Lord" had to be in heaven

C). The "sons of God" became such, because they believed and called upon the name of the Lord way back in Genesis 4 Genesis 4:26 And to Seth, to him also there was born a son; and he called his name Enos: then began men to call upon the name of the LORD.
Your conclusion = A + B = C: "The sons of God include the named individuals in Genesis 5 and they are ancestors in the lineage of Christ."

If you read further, you will see that I have analyzed it. The term "sons of God" is defined in the Bible as to what type of being it refers to..........

That's just 4, but there are more. There is only one scripture which uses the word "angels" and "son" together and here it is.

i FULLY AGREE with your analysis of rightly dividing the Scripture pertaining to our becoming "sons of God" thru His Election of Grace thru Faith in His Word - Amen
However, your conclusion that Genesis ch6 were "sons of God" thru 'saving faith' is in error as you cannot find a scripture that:
a.) confirms Genesis ch6 'sons of God' as 'saved elect'
b.) confirms Genesis ch6 'sons of God' as the seed of men
Furthermore, the evidence in Genesis strongly rebuffs your conclusion.
This loving correction from the LORD is found in Genesis and, as a Blood washed son of God, you are able to see it with prayer and honesty.
PLEASE seek this answer from scripture in Genesis as to exactly why Genesis ch6 'sons of God' were fallen angels that cohabitated with the 'daughters of men'.

a) Yes I can. The entire summary of Genesis 6 is about the events and people of Genesis 4 and Genesis 5. Men "began to multiply" back in Genesis 4 with all the "begatting" of the generations of Cain. The genealogies of the believers are listed in Genesis 5 with a whole lot more "begatting". Men had also "began to call upon the name of the Lord" back in Genesis 4. Those who "call upon the name of the Lord become sons of God by faith, Just like the Bible says happens when we call upon Him in faith. "as many as received Him to them gave He power to become the sons of God" the Bible says.
b) Yes, We'll zero in one one of these men who lived during the events of Genesis 6: this man, named "Enoch", was a man who "walked with God", "prophesied" and was "translated" (never had to die). He definitely was a believer, so close to God that God "took" him, and I'll guarantee he is one of those who "called upon the name of the Lord". He fits all of the criteria for a human believer/son of God. And he was a "seed of men" as you say (other believers actually) as confirmed in Genesis 6.

God has never said that whole phrase to an angel in the 1st person.

But we know that isn't true because Adam was the first human (Acts 17:26), so "(bene elohim)" are not referring to humans.
God did not beget angels, Christ was the firstborn Son of God. Angels are created beings.
