One of my former pastors considered the Bach that I listened to as secular music that should not be listened to. Regardless I put it in ahead as a song request in Heaven when I get there.

This Christmas Oratorio is only available on YouTube through the link so it shouldn't offend my pastor or anyone else.

Correction:
The release date was 9-1-23, not 10-23
I don't watch TV and have ad block, so I missed the movie notifications. I should have put it in my calendar. All I remembered was 123. I would skip the rental and just buy it.

What is the motivation for singing the song?

Are you singing it to grow in understanding to be able to be a good witness for the Lord to those around you and use the alphabet as a tool unto righteousness?

OR, is it to be something used as one ignores the Lord and lives for self in this life not bringing glory to the Lord?

The ABC's can be used for good... or they can be used for evil, so keep this in mind when singing the ABC song.

I'm surprised you don't know your ABCs by now... clueless-scratching.gif

Skin color has nothing to do concerning whether someone is a redneck or not.

All races and societies have their rednecks...

I think it depends on who you'd ask. Some in the Northern region probably still think so.
As for all of Italy, they all agree that Chris Cuomo is a Fredo. Lol

There were so many connections I had with the first two that it would fill many pages to describe. The third one reminded me of why I was born in America. I'll just say that my grandfather had something to do with it concerning an experience in another part of Italy. He died before I was born, but I was told what happened. That movie was a special gift to me that reminded me of my heroic grandpa and my heritage.

Southern Italy has the most amazing food and wine, especially Puglia and Campania. There is quite a bit of farming and dairy. Once you eat fresh mozzarella cheese from there, you'll never truly enjoy it anywhere else. It also is home to the 3rd-oldest continually-inhabited city in the world.

Some might say it's important to learn your ABC's as you learn to read.
Once you learn to read you are then able to read the Bible for yourself and not rely on what others read to you or tell you it says...
and speaking of reading, I guess you still need practice with it.

I had cheeses imported from Italy on special occasions and they are so much better flavor than anything else, there's no comparison.
I forget which town the movie was made in, but the director made special focus on the culture which includes the fresh food. I liked that about it.

My friend's neighbors are from Puglia and make the ten-hour each way trip from Vicenza regularly to get it fresh. It makes that much of a difference.

What a special vacation that must've been!

I think Denzel Washington feels the same way. Here's a short but good article that summarizes why he chose to film there with the Director.

I can only guess that one of the oldest inhabited cities is Rome.

Most of the filming appears to have taken place in a fishing town tucked back in a cove against the cliffs. I'm going to look that up more when I get a chance.

Ironically I've been to pretty much everywhere in Italy except Rome.
